Shock troopers are crazy! The Coruscant Guard had some wild moments throughout the Clone Wars and Revenge of The Sith. These clone troopers were mainly in charge of keeping Coruscant safe. From dealing with Coruscant prison breaks, to retrieving Anakin on Mustafar, Shock Troopers never had a dull moment! - บันเทิง

i wanted to see how these guys defended coruscant during the invasion, have fox actually be sympathetic for once
Commander Fox is one of the bravest and most dedicated Clone Commanders in the GAR. Any combat mission the Coruscant Guard has on Coruscant, he's at the very front of his men and is the first one into a room.
That being said, sympathy is not exactly something he's known for. He'll follow any Order of the Republic, whether it's right or wrong; so long as it's a valid and legal Order.
He's that kid in class who's a great over achieving student and will help you or any of his classmates, but he plays teacher's pet (you can't tell him about breaking any rules, or he'll stop you or tell the teacher).
Respectable for his commitment, but I think there's a few good reasons he's not anyone's favorite.

That said, yeah, he's definitely not known for mercy or anything of the sort, that's not really smn the Coruscant guard is known for at all actually now that I think about it

I always loved the idea of, Order 66 not working, all the Clones and Jedi find out whats going on, then like a full scale invasion where the Coruscant Guard defened palpatine, and Anakin lead a charge of 501st to have that Red VS Blue aesthetic

@Antoni Not really. Some are very good at combat. Riot, ARC's. They are good but we don't see them using those abilities often.

In my opinion, they had the coolest clone armor. The red fits so naturally with the version two armor set.

They got the coolest uniforms and best jobs. No greater job than getting to protect dignitaries and serve as personal bodyguards.
People hating on Fox, meanwhile I’m just: CLONE TROOPER IS CLONE TROOPER. And I love them all
What sucks about all the hate shock troopers get is that in a real combat situation like they were in with Yoda, the pirate negotiation, or the banking planet, they did a pretty good job all things considered. Commander Thorne is the best example, he died fighting till his last breath for something he truly believed in. And Commander Thire helped Yoda along on their peace mission even though he was severely injured. And they were the first group of clones we saw in the Clone Wars show in that same episode. It was just Fox that was a douchebag, everyone else seemed fine.

From what I heard people in Star Wars don’t technically speak English, what we hear is a translation for us the audience so he said an equivalent of “God” to us if that makes any sense

Can you blame them? They are trained for war and have to act more as a police force, meaning they deal with mundane bs way more often than not, and almost every time something interesting happens, it's probably one of the most unhinged or insane things to deal with rather than a simple battle.

Notice phase 1 shock troopers bear the senate symbol but once they switch to phase 2 and its closer to the Empire the symbol is ditched in favor of plain red

It never made much sense to me why they were called Shock Troopers but were mainly stationed on Coruscant, where, aside from the Battle of Coruscant, they wouldn't see much action. The entire purpose of shock troops is that they lead a military invasion or campaign, not being permanently posted to guard duty.
