@@rockingsurfer1 TBH, I am not WOWed by these. The videos comparing these to the QSC k12.2 are foolish. There is no comparison. The QSC’s are superior. I purchased these SRM212’s to make the band an easier setup and breakdown. As you can see, I have no videos touting the positives about these. They are very midrange heavy, but they can go loud. Thankfully, I have the dbx driverack PA2 to make them sound better than they should. Regarding EV, I have found a wild range in quality between their speakers. You have the ELX, EKX and ETX which vary quite a bit. The difference between 12 and 15 inch speakers usually tend toward a more favorable sound with 12”. To get low end from a top speaker, the displacement of the woofer has more to do with it than the size. Displacement is the distance the speaker pumps back and forth.
