I have owned Land Rovers all my life. I now have a 2016 disco 4 and consider it is the best vehicle to come out of Solihull, ever.

Hi Matt, I'm an early subscriber to your channel and really enjoy your content. Very informative and your down to earth honest reviews are just what I enjoy. The Diary of a car salesman videos were an interesting insight also, si it would be nice to see more of them every now and again. I'm considering a used 2yr old SVA dynamic and would like to hear your thoughts on them.

I have the same model in fuji white with black pack. 100,000 on clock. Only thing I've had to do is new central locking actuators £280 fitted and complete undercoat about £600.
    Love the car to bits

Really interesting, they seem to have held values well especially the later ones. Considering the new shape one for early next year myself...

I have a early 2016 bought new, now on 19.103 miles. Let us down twice when travelling on the continent. Luckily then still in warranty but had to travel to Segovia to get it fixed, now there was a main dealer who knew how to treat their customers. The main dealers here in UK ( well mine was ) are at best indifferent and at worst could not care less. This is my third Discovery and when it is going is a beautiful vehicle. Would I buy another ? probably not ,the new shape D5 looks just like any other 4x4. I will NOT be getting a LR warranty as it may not cover the D4 main problem which is the crank shaft snapping which although LR do not admit to it being an issue we all know as disco owners it is an issue. If JLR could only improve the reliability thing I believe they would be the best vehicle you could buy.

Hi Matt, I’m a late subscriber to your channel, how come when I asked you to do a video at JLR you point blank refused but I’ve found these! 😂 good content though mate - hope you’re well 👍🏻

Just purchased a 2016 Lux w/ 76K. Trying to figure out the light just below the Home/Menu button by the clock. Any idea what that is for? Can’t find it anywhere. Also, need a replacement key for the roof rack bars, but there is no code on the lock. Any idea how to find the specific key? Thanks. Loving the ride so far.

I got a 2015 HSE model, and everyone keeps telling me the engine is going to break at the crankshaft, but it hasn't. What am I doing wrong please?

I was going to say that’s not a Landmark that’s a Graphite - but I see you’ve correctly noted it in the title!

This car is not a Landmark. It would have a TV, sun roof, electric seats all as standard.

I agree and not forgetting premium leather seats and landmark badges.
I have one and also an original catalogue that mentions all of this as standard!

Hi Matt, can you please tell me if the 15 plate discovery came with mud flaps or were they an optional extra.
    Thanks Patrick

Hi there, thanks for this review. Are these actually reliable now? I knew people who owned the Disco 3's and they nearly crippled them with repair costs.
I'm thinking of possibly/maybe upgrading my old Toyota Land Cruiser would I be mad to come away from Toyota and chance buying LR?
    Thanks.

There are more in depth reviews and watch outs for these cars. I hired one back in 2012 was beautiful inside. A serious issue is crankshaft failure at surprising low mileage. Manufacturing and design faults...so beware. Be prepared for big bills, it's a big, complex luxury car and LR are not known for their reliability.

Hi a nice example , if one can afford the service costs to keep it reliable , if you do not have deep pockets ? move on .
