The fact that this video has been uploaded to this very place on this site for the last sixteen years is incredible and gives me hope for the internet. For anyone confused, I am astounded that something has remained in the same place and at the same address for 16 years on the internet. It's like when you Google a question and you're reading a forum and the forum post is from 2002. Growing up in the 90s, the internet was constantly changing and something would be there one year and gone the next. The further we get in the time-line, the more we are preserving the data in its original context. Simply put, it's a recorded snapshot in time and that's cool. We have the Wayback machine and whatnot but even that is hit or miss on some websites. Think of how much a website or a company changes over the course of 5 years and then extrapolate that out to 20 years.
He was casting Magic Missile for 12 seconds, which is precisely two turns. He cast 5 magic missiles during that period with the sixth not working. If not upcast, a caster can only send out 3 missiles per turn. This means that he did 5d4 + 5 damage in total and should have done 6d4 + 6 if the last one worked.

The most likely explanation is that he attempted to cast six separate casts of magic missile and only had enough for five. As for being able to cast six spells in two turn he must have had haste cast on himself and used quickened on both turns.
Just get an Undead Hunter to fight the final battle. My character did well defeating Sarevok with help from her party in Baldur's Gate. Wait, are we talking about the pen and paper D&D? My bad, I've only played the video game adaptions of it. :/
