It does work in my experience
That works because it is raising your estrogen, therefore decreasing androgens which are causing hirsutism

What s even more confusing is that my hormones are balanced when I get tested and I still have a looot of facial hair and endometrioma cysts! 😭
1 Try reducing stress ( especially emotional stress... Stay away from toxic people, forget & forgive people who hurt you, focus on bright side of life, get involved in good hobbies that will divert your mind away from toxic people's drama...)
Then physically,
2. Sleep well.
3. eat fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts. (Avoid processed foods)
4 Do relaxing exercises like walking in the park, regular house activity like cleaning. ( Don't do drastic exercises like running until you lose your breath. )
Try this for 3 months and see if you can see some improvements.
(Suddenly hirsutism won't go .. it needs consistent efforts. Don't worry too much. Worrying also stresses us emotionally. )

Same, I believe my hair follicles are sensitive to androgens this is also hirsutism! Try a DHT blocker.

Melatonin , even at low doses, gives me nightmares. I have heard of it doing this to others too but I don’t understand why.
Progesterone cream gives me severe panic attacks even when taking a tiny amount. I react to so many things others do not and I don’t understand why. Is it liver detox issues?

I am at the end of my rope trying to fix hormone levels. I’m convinced that’s why I can’t sleep, I’m growing facial hair, having highly irregular menses and cannot seem to lose an ounce of weight. How do I/ Can i book a consultation with Dr. Child’s???
@Carla. Suggest you go thru the tests required to find out your hormones imbalance. Dr. Childs has a few videos featuring these topics. Sleep and losing weight coexist. Its a vicious cycle. If your thyroid is addressed with medications & supplements, your sleep, energy & weight loss are taken care. Its takes time and patience. Hope this helps. All the best 👍
@Carla. Suggest you go thru Dr Childs Blog on how to look for a suitable doc. There are certain "Search words " he reccomends. You should be able to find decent docs around your area.
I followed tge same and was able to find a good doc in India. Look fir docs with "BIHRT" docs meaning Bio Identical Harmone Replacement Therapy docs or docs who have a Compounding pharmacy. These will immensely help.
I have been similar issues and found Dr. Childs on TH-cam, went thru most of his videos, emailed him, did my rrasearch and found a doc.

Hirsutism is a symptom for something bigger you need to see your doctor. There is an underlying condition that you have genetically inherited.

When your testosterone level is high, is it necessary for estrogen to be low? Do these two work hand to hand? For example, if someone wants to lower their testosterone level, they will have to increase their estrogen or that would be false?

When I take dim progesterone or kelp to help with hormones, usually 10 days before my period, it makes me spot or in case of kelp makes my period come super early. Is that normal?
