My best friend and i started playing through the campaigns weeks ago and with not being able to play gears 1-judgement on pc we had to play on console obviously. So i dont have a mic for xbox so i had to play my sound through my monitor which made it feel even more nostalgic lol

bro the gears 1 gnasher is just straight up esoteric and impossible to understand the black magic of its hitboxes
that being said, with the consistent gnasher gears 5 has, everyone is so good at hitting shots the game lost a lot of its fun. the next gears needs to have the chaotic, frantic shotgun battles that gears 1 and 2 had. otherwise the skill gap will make it completely unfun for anyone who isnt a tryhard. also throw in the fact the movement is alot easier in gears 5.
