Great car Bobby, congrats! One observation though. You need to try to keep your driving lane. You are constantly shifting lanes back and forth and driving between lanes. You are not using your turn signals all the time either. Be safe out there! ;)
You can break the glass or open the 3rd or 5th rear door to escape in the event of emergency or side impact accident when all your 2 or 4 doors jammed can't open so yeah the angmo not stupid!
I think you can change the gauge units by swiping Up and down on respective gauge or press THE ^ in top of THE gauge
I'm surprised the Tiguan's instrument cluster has better UI with some sort of depth compared to this much more expensive Golf R. I hope VW allows owner to modify, or get to choose from a range of "theme" in the future.

Jetta Stage 2 can go 276/277 km he's only dreaming, unless you drop it from an airplane at 10,000 feet.

20:49 is a typical malaysian driver. either blur or purposely annoying. i drive like bobby. no drama, floor all the way.
The SD card slot in the driver side compartment is for additional storage for saving your say, music in the car. The SD card slot located in the glovebox is only used for the maps.
I think grouping up the apps is a good idea because it allows less time for you as the driver to take your eyes off the road. If you want to access settings, you should be stopped anyway.
Most of the noise you hear in race mode is from the Soundaktor. Put that to Eco and enjoy the pops and bangs from the exhaust.
Eco? Pops and bangs? I didnt for once ticked eco ...lol
@@BobbyAngmalaysia Have "Engine Sound" in Eco to reduce how much the soundaktor works then you would be able to hear the pops from the exhaust. (Provided the gearbox is in S for all 4 pipes to be opened)
The two door version looks pretty cool and it's rare so it's nice.
Edit: first day buy the car straight away stage 2. Awesome man

Maybe ... but i'm of the opinion that VW should just build on with the GTI ... the R is now so liveable there's no point having the GTI, which also means there's no point having an R that isn't pushing boundaries. Just call it a GTI instead.

True. But at least it's also a noise maker from outside of the car. It hums and drones .... unlike the Kia Optima GT, V8 inside .... aircond fan outside (the car is rather quiet lol)

It’s not a stock car though since he went for a stage 2 tune/upgrade.
Most probably true since my stock 328i before the fastest I've ever tried was 250km/h. So this golf r with stage 2 surely can reach 270.

Yeah A45 really felt as though Mercedes is pushing boundaries. The Golf R .... still feels they hold back a little from going all out bonkers
If u were to compare between this and the v40 polestar edition in term of suspension.. which one is more comfy or nice for daily drive..

FK8 is like the Japanese version of Golf R that loves participating in Bosozuku
Got a friend with VW R MK6. He said it needs to be fuel with RON97 and above. He used RON99. What is your opinion on that? Can it use RON95?
I'm sure it can take ron95 but won't be as powerful as higher ron fuels. Cars are intelligent. It will tune down to prevent knock which will damage your engine. If you drive around the city biasa2 je no need high ron lah. If genting run then put the best available.
Since I drive a E82 135i and I never drove a Golf R before, how do you compare these 2 cars in terms of acceleration and handing since they are about 310+/- hp
Wow been a while. If my memory doesnt serve me wrong, the 135i feels damn hardcore. A lot of feel, less techno wizardry than current cars. As for power, i think it's stronger than the Golf R on initial pull, but after that i think the Golf R picks up speed faster ... but i prefer the N54/55 engines anyday over these little 4 cylinder fake sound motors haha
@@BobbyAngmalaysia Ya, E82 been an old car. I love to own new tech like digital speedometer, LED headlights etc, but, being has to spent quite a lot to replace the tail lights for teh E82 and my Peugeot 208Gti, since they are LEDs, I really appreciate old tech more now, let it mechanical speedometer or just bulbs tail lights, they are much cheaper to replace.
Nevertheless, thanks for the feedback and opinion towards my question. I have the same thinking as the Golf R is 4WD, it picks up faster, but when come to 5th,6th gear, the 3.0L still pulls stronger. Having said that, I really like the Golf R too.
