Wat I love about the whole process is that u guyz really really know wat u are doing.....I enjoyed just watching u guyz do ur thing....I have a reasonable knowledge on mixing vocals n wat I cherished in watching this video is the thought process that controls every fader moves...u guys are awesome!!!!!
Rms or peak compression on the vocal? Also, how does makeup gain play into this?
could it be that i find it better for singing putting the compressor before the effects than otherwise in my iem mix?
Having a soundboard like that one is almost like cheating! Ty guys for helping us out to become better sound engineers!!
I honestly do not like that sound at all, just my personal opinion, I believe you guys overdid processing on that vocal and the chain could have been arranged differently... too much is not always great.
Turn the track off when you are speaking.
