I remember the arcade machine had cheat codes. Stage selection- steering wheel left, right, left.
And when choosing car- go through the gears 1234.

not sure, really - I think it was designed that way or it's an emulator quirk

@@BaconElementalVT didnt see that in the saturn port .. but also your car was way faster than the delta in the saturn port - felt like the stratos..

I think it's an issue with the Model 2 emulator. It's great but it's not perfect, and sadly not been updated for many years.

The dumb direction announcer is just an indicator at best. Far from accurate most of the time.
