    I got my Xmaxx two months ago every other time I drive it it keeps blowing out the steering servo’s I put three upgraded 2085X servos in and two months and they keep blowing out every other time I drive it What could be causing this problem

      There could be stress on the Servo, something in the steering assembly might not me smooth, I would just rebuild the entire steering assembly and make sure everything’s smooth and working properly (:

      I would also check the servo end point/travel adjustments. You could be over working the servo if endpoints are not set correctly. th-cam.com/video/ha84jFODSCg/w-d-xo.html

      I had the same thing. Blew 2x 2080X upgraded servos and the original I put in as a last resort. The original lasted slightly longer than one of the 2080X U/G one. Not happy. No binding only large circles at speed over a field with 2" high grass. Fitted a savox which has been fine for a long time but it's underpowered. Fitting the perfect pass 56kg one next.

    When I reverse throttle my Wide Maxx, it travels backwards in circles clockwise. Please suggest a solution.

      It could be the steering trim

      Or the other knob for the gyro

    Or just buy the aluminum servo saver that comes with an upgraded spring it’s work 10x better than stock no matter what you do and it’s only 38$ you still tighten the spring but the new sling has a higher rate

      where can i find that

      eBay. Amazon Myb. I got it at my local hobby shop tho hot racing makes it definitely worth a try before spending 200$ on a servo but I got the castle 800kv so I’m about to upgrade the servo to a reefs or savox or the promodeler ds930 servo

      Lol you miss the point where you do not have to spend any money to fix bad steering. Obviously you can get an upgrade or whatever but that would mean spending more money, but if you can do it for free then why not. All you need is that longer screw and locknut which most people probably already have. Some people just can't appreciate what others share..

      @@BigfootYusuf It's a $1,000 toy truck. Spend $40 if that's what makes you happy. If a 16mm screw makes you happy do that ...

    Doesn't that basically just make your servo saver ridgid so it has no give?

    • @jfrc2382
      @jfrc2382  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t think so, the servo saver screw often comes loose so by using a longer screw and a bolt eliminates it ever coming loose, it still has the same effects as before

      If your screw backs out it’s because you stripped the plastic it screws into and it’s time to replace it. You’ll never beat the hot racing or integy aluminum servo saver upgraded spring and its tightened down like a shock spring instead of using a screw oh and did it mention its all aluminum so you’re not stripping it ever

      No the spring does the work to keep the parts together (unless too much stress in against the servo and in which case the 2 parts separate (the idea of the servo saver is 2 wedges that "fit" pushed together by the spring until enough force is applied)

    Using KT image won’t make your content better, this is a rampant counterfeit.
