    Great stuff, just subscribed. You're very confident and knowledgeable, the 36 mins just flew by. Just a tiny bit of advice: when you tighten a bolt with a regular wrench, then use a torque wrench and it clicks right away, the bolt may be overtightened. Personally I always undo the bolt and tighten it with the torque wrench again when it happens to me. Cheers!

    Why would you want to use that mullet link, is there anything it does besides BB height?
    Getting it lower is a benefit to me, still too high but every millimeter lower is quite nice.

      Some folks want the smaller wheel without altering the stock geometry. 🤷

    Lucky you get some awesome Saint pedals. Those are the best IMO. :)

    Hey random question but I thought you’d know. Is the through axle on a Fox 40 the same on a marzocchi bomber 58?

    • @ButterSuspension
      @ButterSuspension  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yup, same part number for both: 820-00-024-KIT

    since you say that in your (opinion) some people make a mistake in how the tire is placed with respect to the valve, taking into account that most of the time it is for aesthetic reasons or to make the location of the valve faster, especially when the wheel is very dirty, I tell you that normally the professional way to install the tubeless liquid is to first inflate the tire until the edges are sealed, after ensuring that the sealing of the tape has been successful and that the tire is in good condition, then remove the valve fan and proceed to install the liquid through the valve, depending on the size of the wheel, install the liquid through the valve, normally be between 90-120 ml usually with a syringe, is the safest and cleanest way to do it so that in case there is any kind of failure either by the tape or the cover or by improper installation of the tires!

    I literally just made that thread locker mistake lower shock bolt on my sentimental. Huge pain in the butt.
    I’ve never had a bolt back out with copper grease. Maybe just luck but I think it’s so thick it deals with vibration better

    If you put the "extra information" on the tire near the valve then it is upside down at ground level when you attach a pump (on many tires, not all of course). If you put it on the other side it's near eye level right side up. I still do it the same way you are just for other reasons. I'd say there are many correct ways, depends upon your preference. Sometimes even 90 degrees off makes sense. Just have a plan for it I guess.

      Except...I always attach the pump with the valve at the top...why bend over?

    If the wheelbase stays the same then its not a true Mullet IMHO. There is at least one manufacturer that allows for both setups with two different wheelbases. A flip chip around the axle lowers the axel of the smaller wheel while also bringing it closer to the front.

      Never seen any companies touting "mullet wheelbase!"; it's always small rear, big front wheels...
