It's honestly not worth my time trying to fix these if Fox will send 2024 models as replacements. Really hoping the new ones hold up better.

It's actually many different issues and they don't all fail in the same way. Trunnion models have different issues since that frame style puts different loads into the shock at full compression.
There are also some material issues with the eyelets and damper bodies. I've seen some that came through with no red loctite in very crucial areas. Some also came with too much loctite that was drying on the damper shafts so the main seal would fail prematurely. And then I had a bunch where the damper shaft would get scored, causing air ingress into the damper oil. AND THEN the o-rings in the damper adjustment assemblies would get dirty, causing those to leak or corrode...
