I am a private security guard and i worked here alone last week. There was alot of paranormal activities going on here both in and outside of the building. Inside I heard foot steps, stuff falling down and people talking. The worst part was the doors slamming shut, I than quickly tried to exit the building and found the exit door that I kept open shut. I pushed the door it wouldn't open on the third try it opened. In the back yard area I heard what sounded like people banging on the doors from inside. A lot of activities going on their. I then looked up this place on youtube and Google and learned that it's haunted. Which does not surprise me.
OK my mom used to work there b4 as a janitor. But I remember they used to do theater and plays there as well. It was called Bilingual foundation of the arts. This was when the jail was there no more. I used to roam around that place alot. As a kid it was hell of scary!
Joey, i know it has been a while since you wrote this but it there a way i can contact you or vice versa, i'm doing a podcast on this building, and I think you and you mother could help me out with this. Please, feel free to contact me at aguirrep@usc.edu
Johnny Flores is my cousin, my dad also used to work there his name is Hector Rodriquez aka Shark 🦈 I remember going to see some of the boxing exhibitions. My dad always loved the sport of boxing and training anyone who wanted to learn. My dad and my eldest brother worked at the 1984 Olympics When Paul Gonzalez won the Gold medal 🥉 for The American Team.
Hey how are you doing? Funny I'm hearing from you now.I had posted for a free reading on Kim Russo the haunting of ... they were have this contest thing to win a free reading or visit thing. My family had paranormal experiences for years since I was a little girl in the house of my great grandparents and my mother had a lot since she was little in that house the house after that one and recently down in fl. So I thought it would be cool.😊
Idk how to reply on the other thing, but the gym was on the 5th I think I'm not sure I got kinda lost, I jumped a couple fences to get in, there's always a way
Little bit of movie history for this place. The basement was used as the filming location in “Nightmare On Elm Street” for the Freddy Cougar furnace movie scenes. The big red furnace is the place where the Elm Street parents took Freddy to burn him up. Well, at least in that movie universe anyway. The jail was also used for the movie “American History X” All the prison scenes were shot there. If anyone is familiar with the L.A. ZootSuit riots and the play and movie “ ZootSuit” the actual events took place in that jail that the play is based on.
@@Ojromero_88 I grew up in Lincoln Heights dude. Born and raised. I’m from there. Fuck Off! I grew up on Ave 26. I went to Albion Elementary and Lincoln High. I probably know way more about Northeast L.A.s history than you do.
@@RyanHoltz Very Cool Thanks bro. I actually did grow up in Lincoln Heights. There’s other places in and around Northeast Los Angeles that have paranormal activity. I know because there were people in my neighborhood that experienced certain things in certain places. And then eventually I experienced a few things myself. Let me know if you’d like me to share with you.
Back i. The 90s. There was a boxing gim in the 5th floor. I went to train there, however, the 7 floor was haunted. I remember going up there, to exercise my legs, by going up and down the stairs, and right before you'll get to the 7 floor, you can actually hear women talking, but the doors are always kept closed.except the 5 floor, for abvious reason I just mention. in the 90s,
I'm an urban explorer I've been here many times and have experienced doors slamming, voices, chatters and other odd sounds. I just posted a short video of a door slamming.
I was just in there very recently, at night time of course. All I saw was a bunch of random people tagging inside at the first floor I believe, very creepy place to be I went al the way to the highst point of the building including the boxing gym you spoke of and not once did I expirence any paranormal things.
Nice video ! Idk if u guys r allowed to go to the abounded hospital in Lincoln heights but u guys should , i passed by there today nd it looked pretty creepy but if u guys can u should 👏
LOL I remember back in 91 ditching up there with ex-girlfriend of mine wild having sex we'd hear stuff but we didn't stop to know them noise. the good old days

Sitting across the street of this place right now..
The boiler room was used for A Nightmare On Elm Street(1984). It was condemned after filming due to asbestos.

Yeah I never experienced anything paranormal. Just writers and scrappers LMAO.
how did you get inside?
People who show up afraid to the jail trick their mind into thinking that paranormal beings roam the location.
I recently uploaded a video going in and me and my friends heard a little girl and we would hear things fall and a lot of banging
