Don’t like your title. What do you mean “stained”? Is there no better word that you can use that’s less insinuating than that?
At least he cut down NS to 2 years instead of the 2 years 6 months during my time. And he even change the school terms due to army, wasting 3 years of my time. Of course, this is because he has a son that is going to the army and he is making it convenient for him. But at least that is a legacy.
Other than that, Singapore is unaffordable to many people and more so during his legacy.

His political team salaries are the highest in the world so lets compare to what he has achieved as compared to other bigger countries like Malaysia,China, US etc The low birth rate and education what are the results after 40 years? Which PM has their spouse running the Nation Billion without declaring their salaries. . Pension was totally removed but they kept it for their politicians only while he and his wife claims to step down but they remain promoted higher as advisory well paid pensions as alleges.
We are only interested in what he has done for his country.We are not petty minded to squable over his personal family politics.
The Lee family dispute was a distraction but it never impeded Singapore's economy progress. It is the PAP plus the excellent Civil Service that has been the foundation for Singapore's prosperity. That is the real legacy of Singapore and the forward momentum remains intact.
Which country has perfect government? I agree that under Mr Lee Hsieh Loong, Singapore did have some problems but are solvable .
Compared to many other countries, Sinapore is well above the mark.

There are always people who would want to parade themselves as important by saying things that they deem controversial. They are best ignored.
The people of Singapore accepted LHL as PM, and their appraisal of his tenure would exclusively be on what he achieved or missed as PM.
LHL should be treated and respected as LHL, PM of Singapore, not as the son of LKY. They were two distinct men who led Singapore at different eras. Being LKY's son is a family matter, and it's none of anybody's business to pry into what happens within the family.
So, shame on you, producer of this video for what you have done. Your 12-minute video has no relevance or impact on LHL or the Singaporeans. Btw, I am Malaysian.

Singapore belongs to Singaporeans. It is the PAP that has provided the continuity since the formation of the Republic. The public has voted the PAP back into power through successive Prime Ministers. Lawrence Wong now takes the help but it is the PAP that provides the Team. I do not see any big change in forward momentum.

You missed out the 10 years that Goh Chok Tong was PM in-between. LHL did not take over after LKY.
I miss GCT. Sg is so expensive under LHL especially with the lax rules for foreigners to take over plenty of jobs in Singapore.

Singapore 1st PM Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) handed over the his premiership to Mr Goh Chok Tong, the 2nd PM who led Sg for 18 yrs and then handed over to current PM Lee Hsien Loong. So Lee Kuan Yew never hand over premiership to his son, Lee Hsien Loong. It was Goh Chok Tong. Also this video is slanted. If you or anyone has a Legacy of a Leader like LKY, my opinion is LSL did the right thing by preserving the house which once belonged to LKY. The siblings are being jealous. If they honour their such honorable parents, the younger brother and sister should just abide by the decision of their elder brother, LSL. income gap widening is a worldwide thing unless in communist cuba/north korea. so what u suggest to do? ask the rich stop getting rich? tax the rich more? guaranteed u they will run road 1st. that is why the rich coming to spore cos they r over tax in thier own homeland. govt is doing right by targeting transfer to lower income by gst voucher, conservancy rebates, more housing grants, bursary, social svc(sad notl many is coming fwd), etc to reduce income gap.

The truth is, Lee Hsien Yang wanted the property demolished so that he can sell the land and make a lot of money out of it. He could potentially make 100 million out of it if he was able to pull through the deal. PM Lee on the other hand sold the property to his brother and donated all the proceeds to charity, the amount was estiamted to be 36 million

Mr LHL’s greatest achievement should be the unfailing support of more than 2/3 majority votes he consistently gets from his electorate in Ang Moh Kio GRC,his grit in weathering the storms during the multiple crises during his tenure as PM and not only the respect from Singaporeans,PRs and foreign residents at home but also the admiration of countless individuals from around the world !
His love for his country , time and effort spent ,perhaps have overshadowed that on his personal relationship with his siblings so much so there was some disturbing news about disharmony over family matters.
Hopefully this could be resolved after he has stepped down as PM .
PM LHL has contributed much of his life to Singapore, making it one of the most competitive and prosperous countries in this current world.

The Producers of World Know More use an American accented voice - it seems to suggest they are not Singapore citizens. Why ?
