    As an owner of a 37 which I love, I am dreaming of upgrading to the 45. Ah. Someday.

    Excellent review as always. The design of this boat is fabulous. I can't help but commenting the fuel consumption of 3 outboard engines though since In most EU countries the litre price is close to €2.5 and this means that if you want to drive the boat for just 1nm and back, that's €20. It would be nice to see boat manufacturers designing hulls with minimum resistance to minimize fuel consumption.

    Im curious about the LCG position from the transom and looks like have large dead rise on the hull

    What about the slide system? The rail had some sharp edges at the end, did they fix it?

    Best boat reviews, Bart. As a 37 owner I miss an aft door to connect the after deck with the saloon. Will be an option in the 45? Side sliding doors are great, but an aft door would be a great solution to really share both areas.

    • @Kemperswatersport
      @Kemperswatersport  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, thank you for your comment. I haven't seen any plans on doing this, and I do not expect Axopar will be making this. All Axopar boats are built to withstand rough seas, and adding an aft door would influence the supersturcture's integrity too much I'm afraid. The 45 does have double sliding doors on both sides, making access to the cockpit relatively easy.

    Great review, thanks! It seems consumption is rather around 5 l/nm though. Still amazing.

    • @Kemperswatersport
      @Kemperswatersport  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Bokka, thank you, and you're welcome. I agree, in the video it shows a fuel consumption closer to 5 l/nm than to 4 l/nm. However, that being a prototype, which is usually heavier than a normal production boat, and some more testing to be done on propellers for example, I believe that 4 l/nm will be feasible.

    I know I like it but there is another that I like also. So I’ll make a decision when I see how big my lotto jackpot is.😎

    When will the Axopar 45 be available to order late 2022, in addition will the Brabus Shadow 45 model be available to order for 2023 delivery for Summer of 2023. ?

    • @Kemperswatersport
      @Kemperswatersport  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends on your dealer Mark. If your pre-ordered boats, then yes, perhaps, for delivery 2023. We don't have full info yet but I've heard that a Brabus line will become available. A Brabus Shadow version will follow later I believe.

    Saw a review of the 37c Cross cabin and the only flaws it had was those Sumrad things. They took forever to boot up from what i saw. Wonder why they just don't go with a better system.

    • @Kemperswatersport
      @Kemperswatersport  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello Mikey, thank you for your comment. Of course it is a matter of personal preference, there are people who prefer Raymarine or Garmin, that's why you can also order an Axopar without navigation. The only disadvantage is that it would probably be more expensive.
      In my two previous 28's, and my current 37, I have Simrad. Booting up does take some time but for me never is an issue; you need to start up engines and prepare anyway. Once they are up and running, I find them quick and responsive, and one of the best MFD's available in the market. Especially in strong direct sunlight, they are hard to beat.

      My simrad displays on my 2021 Axopar boot up immediately from the standby mode. Not sure why there is so many complaints out there.

      @@tiara_richmarinadelrey2719 please talk to your local Axopar and or Simrad representative. I seem to remember that it may have to do with having different (unnecesary) files oon the sd card in your Simrad MFD, we've had that before on other boats. Also, installing the latest version of the software may help.

    Seakeeper factory installation available?

    • @Kemperswatersport
      @Kemperswatersport  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't heard if Axopar will be offering Seakeeper as an option. I’m sure dealers can install it though, there's space for it I've been told.

    Continuing....
    Could it be 2 of these engines below?
    Diesel Outboard Engine CXO300 300HP.....(English)
    What would their consumption be...? Would there have to be some technical adaptation to the project and also some performance loss, perhaps because of their weight...?

    The boat looks 'naked' without the side bumpers. Maybe they will offer that as an option, even if its practically not very useful.

    • @Kemperswatersport
      @Kemperswatersport  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I agree, a fender list will make the boat look less naked. I think I've also heard something about this; it might be an option in the future.

    The camera person is focusing more on the guy doing the walkthrough than on the boat!

    Seems like every video I watch on this boat it seems noisier and more rattles then the other lines. Others point it out and it is explained away by bad mics or something. So is there more noise?

    • @Kemperswatersport
      @Kemperswatersport  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be honest Melissa: yes, in my experience there was. But please remember that this is a prototype and it wasn't finished 100%. You hear the doors mainly, these needed adjusting and more. It was a tough challenge for Axopar to have the prototype at the event in Mallorca. For the event, international press from all over the world, >100 dealers, customers, and buyers of the first series of 20 people who made a commitment to buy already 2 years ago, were invited.
      I know that people from Axopar were working day and night, sometimes even during the event. After the event, this boat was taken into a workshop for quite some time, until it was released for further testing and finetuning.
      So please don't judge the Axopar 45 on this boat or video only. Again, it's a prototype. I guarantee you that the boats coming from final production will have quite a lot of improvements, and better, and consistent, quality. And thus, less noise and rattling.
      Warm regards,
      Bart Kempers

      Hi and thanks for the video. Just so I understand your connection with Axopar, howcome you guarantee better future quality? @@Kemperswatersport

    • @Kemperswatersport
      @Kemperswatersport  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@brandtje hi there. What I probably meant is that the boat in the video was a prototype, which always means that there are some things that need to be evaluated before final production. There are always some faults and possible improvements on a prototype, so I'm sure that boats built in the final production line are just "finalised/tested/evaluated" and modified to match the Axopar quality.
      We are just a dealer for the Netherlands and Belgium. As it happens, I am also a proud owner of an Axopar 37, after having owned two 28's before.
      I have a feeling that your from The Netherlands also, I'd be happy to show you why I think the quality of Axopar boats is good, and the "value for money" is actually unbeatable.
      Welcome anytime!
      Bart Kempers

    Hi ! Did you say "diesel" for the fuel...? Do you think it is possible to make an intercontinental crossing from Europe to Brazil? Maybe taking a route through the USA...? There would be a condition to adapt it for that cruise. I believe it is something around 4,000 n/m...! Are you able to calculate the cost of consumption and how to store fuel...? Thanks

  • @andrewiglinski148
    @andrewiglinski148 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The one thing I hope for is that they finally add a generator. I love the running off of stored electricity but why not a generator to charge those batteries without running the main motors? I’d gladly give up one of those storage compartments to be able to run the coffee machine and charge my laptop without worry about draining the batteries entirely. I’m a physicist that works on my laptop endlessly… I’d love to turn this into a floating office for days at a time to just get away and think clearly, but I’m concerned about the climate control killing the ability to work for longer periods.

    • @tiara_richmarinadelrey2719
      @tiara_richmarinadelrey2719 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Generators add noise and complexity. Lithium ion batteries will run your laptop and all other accessories for a day and a nice sunset cruise charges everything back up for the next day of course there is shore power as well. Nd even solar as I have on my 37 Axo. No generators ever please.
