I am VERY VERY happy to know there is a REAL separate bathroom /shower option to avoid liquids spilled into the seating area etc...............HAPPY!

Great review of a great boat. Really like this boat and layout too though I think I'd go for the toilet bulkhead option rather than the small saloon seating layout. Wish I could afford it, would be great for long weekends.

Hello Kostis, thank you for your compliment! I'd love to take any Axopar to blue water but we are in The Netherlands where we have a lot of fresh water, which also has it's advantages.

Kempers Watersport Hi Bart. Haven’t quite decided yet (although very keen) and we have just put our V48 in Mallorca up for sale, so need to wait for her to sell first anyway. Hopefully planing to use on the south coast of the UK.
@@ianhill4030 I understand. I don't know how the market is in Mallorca for a princess V48 but here it is really good. If you don't manage to sell her easily, I might be interested for our brokerage section. I do understand that there is quite a high cost involved.
And the Southcoast of the UK would be great for an Axopar. I hope you will buy one at some stage, if ever you decide to come to Holland that would be great.
Also, we have a 28 Cabin for rental in the South of Holland, via Waterfront Jachtcharter, Kortgene. You may want to try that to know that you're making the right decision.

I am conflicted on this boat. On the one hand, it looks like an awesome drivers boat, fast and agile, good size for two or even one person to handle, and very original design and solutions. But on the other, the outside seating options are just too small and awkward. You cannot really lounge properly on the seats, also insufficient back support. Seating inside the cabin also feels very cramped. Also this model now comes with a proper separate toilet, but the owner of this boat chose not to go for it, I would be interested to know why. But I think for the sunnier climates, the open version of this boat may be much better with proper seats and table for dining. Very good presentation as always, thank you.
Sorry for the late reply M P. I do understand your doubts to be honest. But as we always say 'a perfect boat does not exist'. There are always compromises somewhere. I suggest you have a good look at different 37's at your dealership or on boatshow as there are different seating options.
Personally I believe that the aft cabin option offeres ideal lounging. Also, for the area in the bow you can, as an option, have an extended seat base / storage compartment. Others chose the table in the bow but you cannot have both.
And about the toilet compartment: this owner did not chose it since it makes the forward cabin less 'airy' and he only uses it himself, and hardly with guests. It is very personal but it is good that now for the 2020 model onward there is an option to have a separate toilet compartment.

@@MP_pov & Bart Kempers, we have been comparing the "NIMBUS C11" to this Axopar 37 XC and just on price alone, I could do a fully spec Axopar for less than half the price of the "NIMBUS C11"
Small differences are: Axopar is 13cm less beam, Fuel capacity smaller by 120L, 90cm shorter LOA AND the "NIMBUS C11" you can enter from three sides into the cabin. But at 380 000 Euros...!
The real time fuel consumption indicator is a really nice touch.
It eliminates all the guesswork in selecting the right speed for your journey.
Hello Peppe, yes, that is indeed an important figure. All Axopar boats are known for great fuel efficiency. Also, the cruising speed for optimum fuel efficiency is usally quite high.
Most Axopar boats we delivered this year have the Simrad screens or the Mercury vesselview. On those displays it is possible to show km/ltr, nm/gallon, or knots/liter. On my own Axopar 28 I always have that right in front of my and really helps saving fuel and cruising in the most efficient way.
Amazing boat! I'd like to see a separate heads and a galley area. In fact, with those features, I'm sure it would be comfortable for two people for a week. Excellent tour, thank you

A very detailed and thoughtful review of the XC, thank you, Bart. The refrigeration seems limited for a boat this size. What are the options for expanding refrigeration or storing a cooler on board when you select the aft-cabin option and the head/shower option?

Bark Kempers, My problem is this, My mother is very old and has to use a walking frame to support herself when she walks. What is or can Axopar offer for a person like that because she can't walk to side door to enter the cabin, hence us looking at the "NIMBUS C11" with the rear doorway...?
Hello Byran, thank you for your remark. Great to read that you are bringing your mother on the boat. My parents are both around 80 and still enjoying their own boat, but I hope I can still offer them boating fun on my own boat some time in the future.
It is however difficult for me to give you proper advise in this particular case. We are not a Nimbus dealer but they are great, high quality boats. Also, we only sell new boats in the Benelux area, I would advise you to discuss this with your local dealer.

Hello Don, Airconditoning is not available from the factory. However I do know that some dealers have been installing this. Since in the Netherlands we don't really need we have very little experience with a/c in Axopar boats. I suggest you check with your dealer.
Hi, Have you had issues with the gull-wing doors? I have heard they had issues.
Hi Jeremy, we have sold several 37's with the gull wing doors, but we've had some issues with only one. This has been resolved by Axopar.
I bet those black railings get up to 300 degrees on a nice hot day.

Hi Siegfried, I thought I had already answered this but obviously not, sorry.
I have not really seen the kitchen block yet but I do think it is different. Now the L sofa can still remain and the space below the table and stove can be used for storage.

Hi there, on the "regular". 37, Mercury V8 300's are used, and in my personal opinion the best option. On the Brabus version (Shadow 900), twin V8 450's are used, with which speeds can be achieved up to 60+ knots.
The anchor is an option?? It sounds like trying to sell a car, but the brakes are an option. Wtf?

Hello Tom, I don't know where you are from but I suggest you speak to your local dealer, we only sell to people from The Netherlands and Belgium. Most prices can be found on www.axopar.fi but they do not include engines, transport, preparation, and Vat.

You're completely right Andy. There is quite a difference between a base boat and a well equiped one. That however was done for multiple reasons. For one, boats need to be very different depending on if they go to Canada, or Vanuatu. The boat you saw in the video has most options, but with that it still is quite a lot cheaper than comparable other brands.
Cant understand the great shame, to point PRICE of what you want to make a deal, sell, buy.
The closet set up is fucked up.....

After 5 m minutes ypu are still talking about the anchor locker... I'm sure your video is complete but I don't have time
if you cant live on it for at least a month...it's not worth the money no matter how fast it runs. Put a small galley on it a "normal" bathroom w/shower. heating/ac then it would be interesting. But this is for a young man with too much money and little else. Yes you could improvise but at this price point why should I. It's for speed.
Build quality on these is rubbish.
