I like you. Your videos are great whichever format you prefer. I enjoy your presentation and your recipes. As long as you make videos, I'll be here watching them. Thank you for another great video!
Yes I enjoy your new presentation of cooking videos. Love your variety of doable recipes. Also, I like that your tasting the recipes at the end gives another dimeimension of enjoyment (you look just fine) yes to your salsa recipe.
7:42 Awwww you need a Pyrex/glass bowl. I originally had a inexpensive set of Anchor Hocking, but upgraded last year to a 70s vintage Pyrex set...your yellow bowl reminds me of the large one, nice bright yellow lol
First off ~ I LOVE THAT CRUNCH!! 🥰 I like this "one" recipe to make "two" different chips, genius! 🤓 I need to make these soon, I believe these recipes will satisfy my Saturday night munchies...LOL! I really like any format you choose, as long as you keep making your videos, I'll watch. Viewing from the side, over-head, front view too....all good! This cooking "live" is great, it's easy to follow you and to actually see you step-by-step. Plus, you're a funny and silly guy...LOL....I absolutley mean NO INSULT to you! 😁 And YES, please post your salsa recipe, you can never have too many of those around. Have a great weekend!
Thank you ☺️ You should definitely make these! I will do it! I've gotten a lot of good feedback about this, so maybe I'll continue this format. Hopefully, I'll be able to do some more videos soon. Don't know when we will get power back, but hopefully soon. Thank you so much! Can't wait to hear what you think 😁
Format is great! Hearing the crunch of your chips makes me want to try this recipe myself. I love the Zesty Cheese Doritos! I also was thinking of putting the Dorito spice you made in a spice shaker, as it would be easier to sprinkle on your chips.
Thank you! That's a great idea! You're helping me make my videos better, because I should have thought of that 🤣 for sure if make a different version, I'm totally doing that 🙏🏻 thank you! 😁
Oooo !! I can not wait to try these !! They look just like Doritos !! My son and I love dominos and now we can have them again !! Thank you for sharing this recipe!! 🤗
I DO like the new format! Seems more immediate, like we're cooking right along with you. And OMG doritos - sigh - now I don't have to miss them anymore! Rolling them is a thing, I wonder if a tortilla press might make it that much easier?
Thank you so much! I thought I would try doing it that way... That's how I've always really wanted to do the videos, but hopefully I figured out how to do it... I believe the tortilla press would definitely make it easier 😁
OMG the CRUNCH!!! That alone is worth the trouble. One of the things I miss the most is that crunch and I have some cheddar cheese powder!! I have all of the ingredients.
And I forgot to mention in the video, you can store them in an airtight container, but if they are not crispy, pop them in the air fryer or in the oven and they will recrisp.
@@TrippNBalz I have a freeze drier so I can make the cheese powder myself. I make cheese chips in it a lot but they never make it to powder form cuz we eat them lol
You can make those Aldi cheddar chips super easy too. Get slices of sharp cheddar and microwave on parchment or cut up into quarters and cook in a silicone muffin pan until crunchy
@@southernketo save some money too while you’re at it. If you use a silicone muffin pan you’ll get those perfect circles like the store bought ones for chips. But on parchment paper works great too especially if you’re gonna grind them up for your recipe :)
Well thank you so much! I have quite the extract collection 🤣 I enjoy trying to create healthy versions of the foods I love, and I appreciate you watching 😁 tamales! Yum 😋
Sure! This is the one I use. You can also find all the things I use in the videos in the description and in my Amazon store in the description. 😁 amzn.to/4eF9871
I have been looking for a tortilla or tortilla chip recipe for nights when I make taco meat. This is perfection!! I don't mess with those "zero net carb" tortillas they have in the store anymore. Bad ingredients!
Could we use low carb or no carb tortillas coat in olive oil with a couple drops of corn extract using the crisps and the other cheeses to coat then bake❄️☃️🎄🤔
As always, wonderful recipe! Since being Keto, it’s hard to find tortilla or other type of chips that have a crispy texture without junk ingredients or one that doesn’t taste like the smell of dog food 🐕🤢. These look delicious and I can tell they will definitely be a hit with with my favorite dip. I’m going to be making them frequently, especially with the holidays coming up; have to have these ready at all times 😂🤣.
There was a news clip last week about the coating used on Doritos making rats invisible. There is a light wavelength emitted by the powder that, when the angle is right, it bends the light just right to cloak whatever is covered in it. So here's your challenge...make a coating that makes them invisible on the plate so nobody steals my stack of DORITOS. This is a real and actual story, I promise. Google it!! I know you'll be making a real treat to add to our football snacking season, visible or invisible... LOL 😮
That's crazy! I wonder which one of the many chemicals produces that effect ? I think the invisibility factor would add greatly to the views on this video 🤣
I've needed a good excuse to get a tortilla press. This is it. I love this format, too. The invisible rats comment is awesome. I've got to investigate that. My son should be completely invisible by now... or glow in the dark. LOL
This is great, but if you could add weights to your recipe, especially for variable density ingredients like grated mozzarella and pork panko, the results for people at home would be more consistent.
Thank you! I try to make my recipes forgiving based on the measurements. I don't cook using weight myself, so I'm not sure how to do that... I'm looking at doing a website soon, so maybe there's a program that would convert it.
@@southernketo Just buy a digital kitchen scale, measure your ingredients like you normally do and then weigh them. Weight units don't matter too much, but I find grams are easier than ounces.
Do oxalates bother you in some way? For most people, as kind as they have a healthy gut microbiome, oxalates are easily absorbed by the body. Some that push carnivore would have you believe otherwise 🤷🏻♂️ that said, tomato powder could be substituted.
@southernketo ok,I'm going to do both over the holidays and the keto cheesy mix, that looks so yummy.i never thought of using g the crisps in that way🤔❄️☃️🎄👍thanks and the keto sweet tea is a hit in this home thanks a bunch
