12/10 story synopsis, will recommend

Didn't play Dark Cloud (much), but I loved playing Dark Cloud 2 back in the day 😅. I remember staying up at night just to grind for materials and to listen to the epic (and relaxing) soundtrack cuz the Internet wasn't nearly as available as it is now. Tbf, sometimes I'd go to certain areas/safes just to listen to the near lo-fi-like sounds just to sleep to, given my parents don't punish me for "playing" after bedtime (it's late at night as I'm making this comment 😂). Anyways, this game and Ratchet and Clank helped me get into Halo and Fallout (3, NV and 4) series, ironically 😅. Sorry for the hugh yapping comment. I don't normally comment on videos but I just had to get this off my chest. Great video btw

Overall really good. made me laugh very hard. Favorite part maybe the Xiao bit. Seda learned about the atlamillia and went 400 years into the future using a forbidden spell. He thought the atlamillia was capable of sealing the genie. he had no intention to bring back sophia. Worth mentioning the whole moon people sealing the genie part after the war in the beginning woulda been good. the 'fairy' atlamillia notworthily has the power to link to another dimension... skipped all of ungaga DAng. Seda and Sophia arent exactly confirmed to be Monicas parents. It's kinda a reference I'd think. just because of the world-building inconsistencies. And the fact osmond just doesnt age but reappears. Monica isn't immune to time travel. Funny. Gaspard didnt deliberately do bad things but he was blindsided by trauma and probably encouraged to do bad under griffon's control... Just lost sight of who he was. Funny that the palm brinks chapter wasnt worth mentioning. golf and fish funny. Clearly a lot of the important lore was adlibbed for comedy but I can't help but be specific about some things hahah. Woulda been cool to involve the scene where Max throws a hissy fit immediately after meeting his mom too which is funny.
I appreciate the feedback. I will admit, as I was making this video, I did flavor some of the story points for the sake of humor. I'm also aware that I skipped a lot of key characters from both games, not just Ungaga, but I felt like those characters didn't play enough of a role in the overall story to really fit into what I wanted for the video. Xiao and Goro got lucky that I was able to make jokes about them, but I wasn't able to think of anything for Ruby or Ungaga that would flow well with my video. Not to mention Master Utan who is in both games lol. There were other details that I left out just to simplify getting points across, like the atlamillia's ability to link to another dimension and how Seda learned of the atlamillia. As for Monica being Seda and Sophia's daughter, I know there's been discussion about whether that's true or not and the lack of definitive proof in either game, but that was just another simplification I made to help with the flow of the video. The part where I mentioned that Monica was immune to time alteration was because when Griffin destroyed the world in Max's time, Monica's time was wiped out both structurally and the population, but despite everything that happens, Monica never changes. In short, this is the first video I've made in this style and I have plenty of things I can work on to improve how I go about making more in the future if I do lol. Thank you for your comment and bringing up things that weren't accurate or missed in the video!

This is a high quality edit. Well done.
It just occurred to me that both Seda and Sophia had s** off screen in between the ending of the first Dark Cloud and before the events of Dark Chronicle/Dark Cloud 2.
But I don't think that Monica is really Seda and Sophia's own daughter, in my eyes.
There isn’t anything in either game that directly confirms or denies Monica being Seda and Sophia’s daughter, it’s pretty much up to speculation. For the type of video I was going for, it was easier to use the theory of Monica being Seda and Sophia’s daughter for the sake of simplicity lol

I hope you'll do one on the two Chrono games because of the MANY theories set in between both games on the Chrono Compendium website such as how the Masamune got from Guardia to El Nido in between the ending of Trigger and the beginning of Cross until it ends up in Serge's hands after he knocks it out of Dario's hands, etc.
@@SierraGustafson I haven’t played any of the chrono trigger games, so I’m not currently in any position to make a video on them. I’m definitely willing to look into them though, I hear they’re really good
