- Barbara Windsor concludes her journey into her family history looking into her great-great-great-grandfather Golding Deeks. She discovers the Goldings were distantly related to one of Britain's most famous painters, John Constable.

Barbara Windsor traces her maternal grandfather to the East London docks and finds that his mother was a matchgirl at the Bryant and May factory. Barbara's father's family has generations of Cockneys, mostly labourers or costermongers and barrow boys. She discovers that her mother's ancestors were Irish, leaving Cork after the potato famine and that she's related to the artist Constable.

I remember watching this when it first aired. Coincidentally I ended up living not far from Dedham and on my first visit there I ended up at Flatford Mill and took lots of photos, saying at the time that the scene looked like a Constable painting 😂😂 awww RIP Babs, you being gone still makes me sad 😥

A sad irony that both Barbara Windsor and her ancestor died of Alzheimer's Disease.
