Samuel Winslett was also my 5th great grandfather, and Jonathon my 4th great grandfather. I did my own research, however, and came to the same conclusions. Samuel became a soldier in the Revolutionary War and quite a man of substance in America.

@@drowningincats3921 no they weren't cheating with each other. They didn't hook up until both of them were divorced. He even spoke about it on his biography on Hulu or Netflix

@@ellocoaster252 i guess we're related by marriage then seeing that I'm related to her husband Garth. Funny thing is I found my connection to him long after I married my husband who is also a Brooks. Garth and I are blood related long distance.
