Its sad that kids now only think of weed when Bob Marley comes up... He was so much more than that, a prophet, a leader, a freedom fighter. Rest in Power Bob Marley❤️❤️ one love
When I went to college in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, I got a chance to see Bob Marley at the Boys/girls club in Edmonton! He passed not long after so I was glad I got that chance to see him! I'll never forget it! Lynn, Canada
When I was 20 and in the military, I would listen to Marley every chance I could. I was having terrible panic and anxiety attacks. His music was the only thing that could calm my mind. It’s true what they say. Music soothes the savage beast. I now listen to Marley and other music to calm my mind and prevent my violent outbursts. Only music and my wife and daughters can calm me. Music and my wife and girls are all that matter to me. New subscriber. Love your videos. And your wife has a lovely voice and is an absolutely beautiful woman. Best wishes ✌️
i was in the army, flying back to Oahu from the big island, on my birthday, when we heard of Bob's death. his music is still so uplifting and beautiful!
As a young white kid growing up in the Pacific Islands, we never saw race or colour, but what we had was an abundance of Marley and reggae. I stayed true to that even to this day, playing drums, having a smoke and a jam. Marley was more than the face of reggae, he was a pioneer, the lyrics are all meaningful and the melodies and sound he and the Wailers put out was just a cut above. Name me a song I will sing it word for word, and the other unique thing is Bob's music is as fresh the 1000th time you listen to a song as the first. Many reggae legends like Tosh, Cliff, Bunny Wailer, Toots, Lucky Dube, Alpha Blondy and bands like Burning Spear, Black Uhuru, Steel Pulse have all been brilliant, but Bob is still the benchmark.
I grew up in the UK as a white kid, loving his music owning all his albums and playing his music over and over. The greatest Reggae artist ever. Most people don't realise his Dad was a White British Navy Officer though. I still have a copy of his biography that was gited to me over 30 years ago
I'm getting older and this song really brought me out of dark places. No, woman. Don't cry. Mr. Marley gave me God Sparks and kept me moving. Much love, fam.
Bob Marley has had a massive positive impact on people and always will. His music speaks for itself. The man was a creative genius. R.I.P. Maestro Bob Marley
I appreciate how much you appreciate the late great Bob Marley. I agree with everything you guys just said. As a 66-year-old woman who grew up during those days in the 70s when I hear Bob Marley what I want to think about is spooning with someone I love
Crisis, Redemption songs, Natural Mystic, Forever Loving Jah, So much trouble in the world are my favorite Bob Marley songs. I do love all his songs but these songs touch my soul.
wow cant go without shedding a tear when i listen to this it brings out lts of emotion even when i watched the movie, big up BoB Marley possibly the greatest musician to ever live.
I'm a little aged and had the privilege of seeing Bob Marley and the Wailers. It was an amazing show. It was probably late 80's l seen his son Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. It was awesome to see Bob and Rita left and amazing legacy to music.

At least they are thinking of him. They will hopefully dive in and find out what he was all about. ❤️✌️
@@kierstenridgway4634 exactly...this is literally how my experience played out.
Weed was his life👍 sadly killed him.😮
@@SE16Proud Where do you get your information? Weed is not what killed him at all. Weed by itself has never killed anyone.
So let them grow up, they are kids.

No words. Growing up in London UK where the Jamaican influence was so strong. He was a pure modern day prophet
Same in Manchester my grandmother lived in mosside
He was a beautiful Gift from the Universe to us, when it was so desperately needed, and now again we need this as much as then.
