I just bought Quantum Fiber price for life 200 mb by directional $30 a month with auto pay price for life , had it one month now works great no issues so far. $35 with no auto pay.
I noticed my TMo gateway dropped to 3 bars when it was previously 4 bars. I raised it about 18 inches and rotated the unit about 20°. Right back to 4 bars! 250down and 45 up.
The TMobile 5G wireless just didn't work for me and I was hoping it would. The speeds were all over the place and very inconsistent. One minute I'd have 250Mbps down. A half hour later I'd have 4Mbps down. I had 4-5 bars on the gateway, too. I just don't think it was quite ready for my area and may have been overloaded. I may try it again sometime but I prefer a wired service for more reliability.
I get consistently really fast speeds, like 800 down and 150 up. I don’t game I only stream so I don’t know how it works for that, but what I use it for does the job!
I switched to TMHI in October from 6 Mbps DSL. So far it’s been great, most times getting around 300-450 Mbps. The exception was the week around Thanksgiving was extremely slow between 5-60 Mbps and very high ping numbers. Internet was very laggy during that period. Fiber was just installed in my location but if T Mobile keeps working like it has and at the same price I’ll probably keep it since there’s no contact.
Not really unlimited if they will impose a slowdown due to data usage. Think about if you had this in a home of (ex) 6 with several being teenagers and one or both parents that work from home.
I signed up for the all in plan two days ago from their website. The next day I get an email with my order and notice that they are shipping it to a wrong address. I call them up and the support person cannot change the shipping so will cancel the order but place a new order to the correct address. Today I get an email showing both orders still active and the second new order was not for the all-in plan but the lowest plan. The level of incompetence is staggering. I called and cancelled both orders.
Well, I had a very bad experience. Just recently, the T-Mobile home internet and home phone. They were advertising a deal at $30 a month for both well. I paid $50 a month. Just for a home internet so I got online to see if I qualify for the home internet and home phones for $30 a month. Why not save 20 bucks? Well, in the long run that didn't work out for me. I ended up with a bill at $150 a month. Now, that kind of be beat the purpose of saving any money. But my story goes further. I will post more about the story as it unwinds.😢
Loving the new plan breakdown! I’m leaning towards the 'Rely' plan for the price, but those streaming perks on the 'All-In' plan are tempting. Anyone actually use them? 🤔
Never had an issue with the phone service during the past 15 months. The home service was good enough for streaming but gaming was a no go. Received a random speed boost after a month roughly. The lag spikes made gaming impossible. I'd experience issues I wouldn't normally had I been connected to my normal wifi or wired to a satellite through FiOS. Speed never let me down I can say that. The deal breaker was it wouldn't be good as a cheaper alternative to substitute for FiOS because there's others in the house. And I can't run wires to backhaul the mesh network I think is the way to say it.
@@JCNOAOUI was referring to console, I'd imagine the lag spikes would be the same for PC? Or no? I say that because I'd always be a yellow bar using the home service playing destiny and a green bar means good connection to the game or host.
Just got T mobile with the new Gateway.I had to call customer support for the 10 digit access code. Also transferred both phones from AT&T to T mobile which resulted in an internet discount and less for phone service than AT&T costed. We had moved from NH to NY where they did not have T mobile and only Xfinity internet which charged $94.99 per month for about 2 years with the 1 GB modem, and was going up to $114.99 if we stayed. AT&T elite for 2 phones was about $153.00 per month and had just gone up about $5.00 Monthly per phone line. Plus when Xfinity installed Internet, moving to another apartment, there was a $100.00 installation fee. So this T mobile internet and phone services costs less than over $155.00 a month for 2 phones and now Xfinity internet would have been $114.99 per month with no other choice there. By the way we had dropped cable TV and home phone there and here too, only having Over the air TV mainly to see Me TV there and now from NYC stations versus Boston at the previous location. 😊
Good. From what I’ve seen (my own testing) and what Sling TV told me, it’s mostly an issue when people get their locals via Sling - not with an antenna.
We still remain in a very weak 5G (and 4G!) area. I wish it wasn't the case. Our only Internet providers are two fiber companies who have colluded on pricing, which have been spiking upward these days. As it is, we're currently Sling TV subscribers, so that's a double whammy for us with T-Mobile. Ugh.
I wouldn’t allow T-Mobile to automatically draft my bank account or debit card. There are too many data breaches and it is sometimes difficult to stop the automatic drafts.
@@MichaelSavesI’ve got the white one, with the mesh in New York. My price is $70 per month on autopay. I’ve had it for about 6 months now. Idk if I’m overpaying, but for the most part, it works well at about 300mbs down, and 100mbs up. Does that sound right?
Love t-mobile since I switched from Cox over a year and a half ago. It is more reliable than cox and the price point is great. Just ran a speed test. 195.33 download and 40.85 upload speeds at 6:17 PM. I run TH-cam tv and surf the internet at the same time with no problems.
I signed up for amplified (middle plan) recently. I am genuinely shocked at the speeds I’m getting. Significantly more than advertised. 750-850 down, 80-120 up, and 14-18ms ping. Saving $80 a month vs. Comcast. I signed up based on your review. Thank you!
I've been using t-mobile home internet for 2 years now and couldnt be happier. Their customer service is exceptional when you compare it to verizon, ziply, ATT, etc. I live in a rural area where cable and other high speed internet isnt available, so this has been a God send. Plus if power gets knocked out, phone lines down, etc I dont lose internet. I have 5G towers in line of sight so my speeds are good to great. The only other real option is Starlink, and they are running off a 30 year old business model where you have to buy equipment and still pay $100 or more per month, and I wouldnt give elon musk a dime.

Love tmobile as my phone and internet provider. Highly recommended compared to satellite internet for those who are a gamer lol. the ping rate/ latency. The lower the better. The higher it is well good luck on that call of duty or any game session 😂

You can get setup autopay with T-Mobile using a debit card or bank account, then pay ahead with a credit card and still keep the autopay discount.
Speed depends where u live and how close you are to there tower

What wifi version does the gateway have, 6e? Or latest 7?

Prices should not, but availability does. Did I misspeak? If so, my apologies. It happens!
