    Well done. Enjoyed the content, keep it up. We named our GMarquis “Marky Mark” (and the funky bunch), and he is getting an oil change in the AM.

      Funny! My kids and I were going to call my 2004 Marquis that I just bought "Marky" for Marky Mark", but my son didn't like that so much. So, he decided on Marco.

    Great vibs ( and personality).
    Suggestiin for a vid- replacing the valve cover gaskets. MakevSURE to include screen shots of everything you take off before removing the valve covers themselves.....
    Just a suggestiin.
    Oh, I did 10 puxh ups so you should make my vid suggestion 😂

    It can be a bit messy doing an oil change cuz it doesn't have a good drain rail at the oil filter

    When you do your own oil change you know it was done right ! I always throw a big piece of cardboard under the motor whether it’s concrete or gravel surface - plus if I spill it’s easy cleanup. I get my Motorcraft filters at Walmart and avoid the orange can of death !

    • @SlikLizrd
      @SlikLizrd 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your Motorcraft FL-820-S oil filter does an excellent job -- it should be changed at 5,000-mile intervals for best results.
      The BOSCH Premium oil filter has the best micron rating in the business -- ISO # 4548 AT 20 Microns -- oil change intervals at 5,000 miles.

    supposed to use the old oil to wet the new rubber gasket. and you're supposed to use 5w 20 weight oil to prevent damage to the timing guides. hope this helps

    • @lukeWiz44
      @lukeWiz44 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      doesn’t matter which oil you use to oil the gasket. and 4.6 modular engines switch back and forth between these oils for different model years, The only reason that Ford switch to 5W 20 was for fuel efficiency reasons.

    • @stevemccooleq
      @stevemccooleq ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ford changed to 5w-20 oil in the USA in order to make government CAFE fuel efficiency requirements. They still recommend 5w-30 on the same engines & vehicles in Europe and other parts of the world. 5w-30 is ok and perhaps even better in summertime and warmer climates.

  • @giomartinez420
