I have this installed on my Volvo s40 but I can not get it adjusted correctly. How many turns between softer or harder should I possibly shoot for?

To be honest I cannot remember. I haven’t touched it in years. I’m sorry. I don’t think I adjusted it at all

Is it the Dual Port of the normal?

Just a variance....the CBV is slightly different than a standard blow off valve. Same outcome though

Currently on my garage floor trying to install. Did you bend the metal line to get this to fit? I’m nervous about bending anything. Would I need to remove the line to bend it?

I didn’t bend any lines. I did use a rounded Allen wrench cause I had to come in at an angle

I’m standing in my garage typing this right now with frustration. My ‘09 C30 only has 103K and has been garaged it’s whole life but these damned 5mm BCV bolts will NOT budge. I’ve used both straight and ball style Allen’s and they just won’t come out. Any advice?

NorthernChev I don’t have much advice but...I’m wishing you the best of luck, this install really. Really. Sucks

NorthernChev I’d say soak the bolts with WD40 if not a Blaster Penetrating Catalyst. When I was done with the job I had bloody knuckles from the super unreasonable tight quarters. This car has the easiest headlights to work on in the world but everything else was a challenge

@@ConnerAndFriends1 You, sir, were ABSOLUTELY right when you said, "this install really, really sucks". It absolutely did. But... I finally got it done and now I can't stop winding it up, just to hear it blow of every time I take off. It's kind of addicting. It doesn't necessarily add any real horsepower, but it certainly added 120 HP of FUN. I recommend this to anyone with a C30 T5.

sooooo....no need to get the dual port, the other one will be fine? sorry, I'm a car newb.

I think the dual port gives you the option to either hear the "pshhhh" or to silence it if my memory serves me right

@@White_Ryce I have the Dual Port on my 09 C30 T5 and it sounds awesome, plus you get the added bonus of the supercharger whine/scream on spool-up. I highly recommend it. Andyes, it is adjustable. More blow off or less blow off.

One question. I just did it today, installed TURBOSMART dual port TS-0203-1061 but I'm not getting any psshhhh sound eventhough I acelerate up to 4000 rpm. Did you adjust the BOV? I'm worried because it sounds exactly the same as the stock valve. Any advice? I tried to make it softer adjusting the spring but there is a line in front of the valve that doesn't allow me to make the BOV softer.
