Archimedes principle - whenever a object is placed in the water it starts moving downward by replacing the water and water applies a upward force on the object called thrust or upward thrust.
According to me Archimedes principal is
"When a body is partially or fully immersed in a fluid it experiences an upward force which is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced"
