See coaching centers which aim to get students to IIT and not for business are good example SUPER 30 , absolutely brilliant person he did his work of passion for the betterment of poor childrens into getting IIT
Blaming coaching institutes is like brushing the problem under the carpet. The real problem is with the schooling culture. Had the schools been doing their job properly, we wouldn't require as many coaching institutes in the first place.
Problem is every parent wants their kids to either become doctor or engineer and this starts with getting highest marks in school to show that their child is so bright and smart .... So be it schools or institutes ... All they do is fear mongering. First the elders need to change their mentality .....
tbh after all this the infrastructure in IIT is ridiculously bad and yes initially in your career it might help but in the long run there may be no benefit if you still don't work hard
This is why so many of the brilliant minds move to foriegn countries to truly excell in the field they are good at, if a kid comes up to there parents and says that he/she wants to be a writer or a painter or something like them the best reply they might get if there parents are open minded is "first get a job to be finiancially secure and then do it as a hobby".

For 30 minutes they convinced me why you shouldn't leave it how will it impact your future. They told me you won't reach anywhere in life is you leave, they said your life will be ruined. Those who don't know , these institutes have already entered the school campus of various states of India by signing deals with the school. The school authorities force the parents of average students to take their classes. Classes are being conducted within school timings and premises and those who don't enroll in their classes are forced to sit idle. It is very sad to see how the school authorities have started exploiting the children and their parents
It's all business. Where do you see these things happen? These for profit institutions and companies are going to further damage our already trash education system
As someone who has personally suffered a lot of mental anguish and harassment at the hands of this Institute, thank you so much for sharing this and making the voice of unheard people like us audible.
Thanks for talking about this. I belong to a very below middle class family from a small town. My parents hardly earn 15k a month. But a well known coaching for Neet called "Aakash" convinced me to take th3ir course for 120k in 2020. And due to job loss, once my father was unable to pay their emis , they thretened multiple times to turn off the access of classes. My father had to take loan on high interest to meet those expenses. It was horribly traumatizing for me back then !!

Thanks a lot Mohak for explaining this concept, Im an ex-FIITJEE student and left in class 12th, Now im an Electrical engineer from IIT dhanbad (2022-2026) and fiitjee had a very bad environment , thanks for bringing this out
1:26 I was in a coaching institute last year after 12th And I remember one day i was going through one of institute's floor and I saw kids maybe 7th or 8th grade Kids with school uniform joining classroom just after finishing school Their school bus will drop them Infront of coaching institute and they will change their uniform into institute t-shirt and pants in washroom And then attend class . And it's not only about coaching institutes Who pressure students I remember our Hindi teacher bragging to other teachers how he's preparing his kid for NEET since 8th grade
It's not Common for Class 6-9 Students but It's Common for Class 10-12 Class Students to Come Coaching institute direct from School. It's a hell of a pressure
Yeah, the reputed schools open a seperate campuses stating IIT-JEE & NEET campus from 8th std... And others inculcate such academies in their schools in school timings itself or after school timings in their premises.
I don't usually say this im really happy that you stand up to such big brands and speak against them. Parents needs to realize that these coaching institutes are not everything instead start early teach your kids that they can learn on their own. For example let me tell you my story i study at a really reputable gov. Institute got here after clearing JEE and theres a weird habit ive noticed that fellow students in my class have a really bad habit of not even trying to understand anything on their own they always try to find some youtube channel or some lecture online instead of trying to understand it from book( now im not saying they below avg or dumb or anything they all after all cleared JEE and gets decent marks in exams as well) but what im trying to say is this coaching culture habits are so deep in them that they've just assumed that they wont understand anything without someone explaining it to them and preferably some online lecture. Now not everyone is like this ofcourse many brilliant students who study and understand stuff well and on deep understanding level as well but its true that majority of students are like this, they are here just for jobs doesnt matter if they like what they are studying or not or even understanding at a practical level but they rote learn thing's well to get good marks and later on decent jobs as well.
Yes i totally agree with you, my friends belief system is like... they will never understand something without a lecture in a first place..this is really big issue...
In my classroom also, no one prefers school teachers. All decent students also want to understand concepts from online coaching lectures or be exempted to join offline coaching.
I am a former FIITJEE student. When my JEE Mains exam came close, I left FIITJEE stuff and started watching Vedantu JEE videos on TH-cam. I really loved it, their way of teaching was just amazing. It really helped me in JEE Mains exam.
Same, I started to hate chemistry because the teachers expected us to already know the topic and hence never actually taught us something or even bothered to
I did leave fiitjee for this as well, the teachers were too lifeless, they didn't bother abt us and all the students used to have more private tuitions and avoided coaching. Moreover, there was this one maths teacher who taught us really well, recently he also left Fiitjee and joined Allen.
OMG the exact same thing happened with me and my sister what happened with Anushka! I remember I was in class 6th when BYJU'S salesman came and he used the EXACT same technique you described. He asked my sister question about fraction and (she was in 4th that time), she answered wrong. He asked many questions like define numbers, number line, words without vowels, how is pi calculated; he said that school doesn't teach us things that are actually necessary. (I still don't think I need to know the definitions of number/number line/pi?) Then he gave both of us a test to do and I remember there was a question on exothermic/endothermic reaction (See it from a pov of 4th/6th grade student)! As you could have guessed, we both performed poor then he told us to go and he had a talk with my father. Later, when my father came back after having a talk with him, he told us that he(salesman) said that we both were poor/dull students. I felt so sad that day, I still remember the look on my dad's face.
Hey, the same exact thing happened with me too. I was also in 6th grade they also asked me about really high level question according to a 6th grade student and it was for 2 years (uptill 8th grade) and when finally my 8th grade got over I was really happy that I'll finally be getting rid of this shit and yet again, another BDA came and again did the same thing and I had to pursue their online live classes for 2 more years till my Xth boards were over. Honestly I did attend classes but as an introvert student, I didn't have much courage to actually speak up and whatever they taught at the end I had to study it again from scratch. In this way, I scored 93 % in my 10th boards largely bcz of my efforts only. Now, I'm in 11th with science stream and I finally convinced my parents to not to fall in this trap again.
Same pinch same story here......those BDA proved me fool shamelessly in front of my parents,i couldn't help crying..........and now I am in 11(started rn) passed 10th with a perfect score of 97% in ICSE without any fucking coaching and with a score of 95/100 in maths......the subject in which I was shown dumb and fool by BDA

I was in a terrible coaching institute for IIT and hated it. Luckily, my parents could see my misery and allowed me to drop out. Instead, I managed to get into an Ivy League (on full scholarship), changed fields from engineering and sciences to study a subject in the dreaded humanities, and now work as a prof. Am I earning millions?--No. Do I make enough to support myself and my family? Yes. Do I love my work? Yes. Success has to be more broadly defined--money is important, but it hardly should be the end goal. I am just so grateful to my parents for not forcing their kids into this insane rat race.
Its nice that influencers like Mohak, Maheshwar Peri, among others have the courage and intent to speak on such sensetive ans important issues which aren't normally discussed! Kudos to you Mohak❤
So thankful that you talked about this. The batch system in these institutions are so bad, they allot the top teachers just to a handful of students, while the rest of them are forced to learn from sub-standard teachers despite paying the same amount of money. And this even happens before the batch reshuffling tests. I think it is their policy to further polish the already better students who usually have been a part of such coachings very early. For the new enrollers, especially those who enroll in std. 11, it is such a hard time to adjust, especially when the institute makes minimal effort in actually enhancing their skills. In the end it is all about money for them, but for genuine students, it takes a massive toll on their academic career and confidence.
YESSSS a thousand times over again. most of them dont give two shits about you if youre not one of the smart ones. i was in batch 2 for most of my prep (just under the top batch) and they literally didnt care about us and shuffled teachers whenever they wanted.
Exactly! I was actually in the top batch which had the best professors who constantly reminded us how getting into IIT is equivalent to salvation from samsara, but I had quite a few friends from other batches and they shared their plight with me. If you simply take the students who are already very good academically and then they do very well in entrance exams (or any other exams), how is it your credit? Its a scam, a very obvious scam.
A byju's salesman also came to our house a few years back and this is EXACTLY what they do. They first ask you basic questions and make your parents feel confident and then give u a tough question and then try to convince them that they need improvement. THIS WORKED VERY WELL with my parents but i denied it and i have no regrets whatsoever.

To be honest, I have been in one of the coaching (Allen) and I feel they were the worst years of my life! I ended up demotivating and having no interest in studies while I used to be a topper in school because they will only be supporting a small portion of students which they think will be the future toppers. Finally now I'm doing ok in life, but it took a lot to come back on track being a science lover. I hope the best for everyone and respect others decision 🙏
Its sad to see the privatization of education and treating it as a corporate office. There was respect in the teaching profession but has become just a buisness. We need the government to provide such utilities which the parents seem to buy. The financial pressure is too great and any misstep or error in judgement regarding careers will end in a bad way. It is better to not play the game and take time off. Education is now a marketplace for the experienced. If you get into it without knowing your end goal without specifics don't get into it.

The entire west has pvtised education it's the Indian pvt sector and corporates which are an issue we need to have more liberal education than before ,reforms by the bjp in the education system must stay esp value for distance education, dual degree etc respect for program courses too though
My anecdotal experience - I'm from a small town near Mumbai I passed out 10th in 2014 & remember many of my topper friends from well to do families started JEE prep early, they joined big coaching centres sacrificed their childhood for a better future. 10 years later none of them has achieved anything significant. Meanwhile the group of average kids enjoyed everything went to okayish colleges & now some of us are earning more than them. Some toppers even needed therapy after they failed, so now while we have great memories about teen years they have trauma.
Those toppers are still smarter than the average kids. You can't compare a person's intelligence by how much money he/she makes. Even Baba Ramdev makes crores but he's slow
@gokuvegeta9500 Yes I agree even I don't care how much money one mkes if they are satisfied in their own life. But in our country where most people come from low income backgrounds, when 1 person becomes rich he can help his family grow out of the poverty cycle, parents spend their money providing the best so everyone expects something out of the person.
Coaching institutions, and society make us believe that you should take science and then computer science to succeed in life. I’ve been through this passage. There is a big difference of skill gap. And companies don’t recognize value of any certifications either. We all students get stuck in the loop then.

1:26 even though I won't say it is entirely correct to enrol a young student but I'd say that jee preparation takes a toll on mental health of students in India. The time given isn't enough, why should teens sacrifice their health, exercise and sleep requirement (8-10 hr) for sake of jee. They barely teach anything from 6 to 10th, then throw a pile of load in 11th and 12th which is mismanagement. For a lot of students, it's their first time when they study this much so it takes time to adapt. You'll often see students who couldn't manage in 11th and start their preparation in 12th.
Exactly. Students are 18-19 but barely with any real life knowledge or maturity. My friends want to go to IIT to do all the alcholol, relationship stuff. They are not even interested in Engineering itself. They have 0 hobbies, no general knowledge. Physically if you compare Indian teens to Europeans, Indian teens are so weak physically because of JEE. Personality developement is 0^0. Evergbody is like "aww its just 2-3 years after that life is set". What a 🤣 joke. Life is not any easy, as a matter of fact life is never easy, you will always have to grind. But students sacrifice everything and they get very little. So students have 0 real life problem solving ability or expereince, all they know is a bunch of formulas, reactions and properties. Some students are very talented in various activities but have to rot in mental jail for 2-3 years just so the coaching and their parents can brag about and show it off. Pathetic.

I was part of the 2 year JEE Classroom program of FIITJEE Kalu Sarai, Delhi. The whole atmosphere of the institute was rubbish and highly toxic. There was no one central building but a lot of dilapidated buildings in which there was not even a fire exit. All those buildings were in dingy and dirty alleys. The classrooms were dirty and whole infrastructure needed renovation. But the worst thing about the place was teachers. Teachers were clueless about the subjects they taught. They could never clear doubts or explained topics clearly. Overall the experience was traumatizing. I was charged around 3.11 lac and it all went to waste. I would request each and everyone of JEE aspirant to never join FIITJEE.
As a JEE aspirant, I can tell you guys that yt videos are much more helpful and effective than any coaching institute - maybe ever better than any other materials.
This is silly statement. Commerce course is equally strong. Getting through CA or CMA or CS are as difficult as getting into top IIT or AIIMS. Have no idea on humanities so no comments.
I gave Fiitjee scholarship exam in 9th grade in 2008. They had already told me the fees was 65k. After the exam they told my dad that I had topped the aptitude section and hence my scholarship is bumped up from 65% to 75%. The new fees they said was 50k. My father asked how as 75% reduction should mean 16.25k fees, they said no 75% reduced from 2L. Absolute scammers these guys are. Me and my parents regret sending me here. A Normal tuition is much better than this scam org.
Lol , you didn't know, they don't just reduce 75% ,If you read your scholarship carefully, many things will be mentioned there . 75% might have been on only TUITION FEE ,they charge different types of fees. But yeah it was misleading. Like I gave VMC nat scholarship test and got 95% concession on fees. The amount was 385k+18% GST but I still have to pay after getting 95% concession 195k(including GST). Actually they calculate it differently than we see.I got 100% scholarship in FIITJEE but fees still comes to be around 300k.
Also, ALLEN is quite different than these lol .I got 50% scholarship in ALLEN for 11th and yeah they just reduced the previous amount to its half, also in ALLEN NCR the fees is quite low compared to others.

THESE F*CKING COACHING INSTITUTES NEEDS TO BE REGULATED. I was in ALLEN in 9th and 10th class and all they did was sap my time and energy. The studies were not even difficult they just marketed like the syllabus was 9th and 10th is CORE for JEE and MY FUTURE. NOT THE WORST CASE. They have classes from 6th, you wouldne believe so small kids were there ruining their childhood. THE TIMETABLE IS JUST DOGSH*T. I have a friend who's in 11th batch in allen with dummy, his schedule is 9 IN MORNING TO 6. I WAS SHOCKED, He further said even kids of 6th to 10th are in that prison for more than 4-5 hours AFTER SCHOOL. My hate for these coaching institutes will be FOREVER.
True, i was a student of Allen for past 2 years and our school starts from 9. Since we were of integrated batch it ends on 12 . Then after the lunch breaks we will be asked to attend the coaching classes from 1:30 which ends on 4:30 ( with no breaks) . Then since we were hostelers we were asked to take short breaks and then continue to study till 7 :30 staying in the centre. Then after the dinner, phones will be provided which can be used with in 15 minutes and they'll take it back. Plus they also used to schedule classes on Saturdays and Sundays which would start from 8:30. And the hostelers there used to suffer a lot. Plus the attitude of the teaching and non teaching staff were rude towards average students . I remember crying almost every days past 2 years. Parents also were fed up with me that at some point they wouldnt even hear me. The amount of mental stress they gave is unimaginable. Along with that our school also were blaming us . The one true thing I understand from the institution is that they only care for the toppers . I remember my teaching staffs used to ignore average students like me ,they wouldn't even talk to us properly if you are an average student.
That's dumb.. You guys think that if you study more then you can learn more.. It's biggest lie ever heared.. You can see lot of one's who study less but perform well

I am in class 10th and in srg batch of well known edtech what i feel is if a student can handel the hugh pressure of syllabus which comes in jee he should take admission in an online edtech because they give you best content and dont join offline institutes because when I was in class 8th I went to kota with my elder sister she was in 11th and i used to feel like i was fighting a war everyday for a better batch imagine a student of class 8th having this much pressure and our teachers used to see us like useless and those in the TIM and Advance ( the best batches in allen for under class 11th students)way beeter than us I used to cry due to this differentiation so I left allen and worked hard in class 9th with the help of online material and lectures of pw and got in srg batch of unacademy and now i feel much more relaxed and studying with a happy brain not like in kota. 19:40
I too am in the SRG batch of Allen, and the pressure is huge, the faculties will threaten to remove you any day if you underperform, they set expectations without zeeing anything
Well covered Mohak. Please do cover the mental pain the students of professional courses go through. I myself went into chronic depression for 3 years when i failed my ca exams
No bro I think Allen is different because atleast they provide all facilities to students so that they could crack these competitive exams and I have actually seen many cases
In Tamil a popular debate show in Star Vijay channel called Neeya Neena (Trans. You or Me) debated about the coaching institutes where owners/educators of coaching institutes were on one side and students/parents/educators on the other side. It clearly showed the true face of such institutes. Coaching is required for subjects/courses which we can't easily understand on our own but now all these institutes have become shortcut centres focused only on percentiles. It's a big business.
I remember how an institution named as Pathfinder brainwashed my parents. So they got me admitted there when i was in class 7 . First thing that shocked me is the environment. It was very toxic and not suitable for nurturing of a pre -teenager . We had to sit in a room for around 5-6 hrs . For 11-12 years old child i remember they used to teach topics from 9-10th standard. They taught me vector algebra when i was in class 7 . These can only attract parents who aren't used to dealing these shits. These institutions even publish their own books. For a class 6-7th student's course they used to put some questions and used abbreviations like this sum has been from lab.lab. entrance exam and all . During addmission of any student they used to show these shits to parents to attract them .....
@@Ayush-mg6xw its hell for both, an class 7th student shouldn't have this much pressure on him, it'll only ruin his brain even if it teaches him some higher standard questions.
As a student currently in fiitjee it is certainly not all good but at the same time if you surround yourself with optimistic ppl with right mindset it aint all bad
@@parimittal6145 I thought of enrolling, but I am not sure if i want to do jee. plus mohak has sort of changed my mind about fiitjee. why was your experience bad tho ?
I started FIITJEE at the start of my 12th, and tbh the content and material they provided to us (classroom batch) was very weird. It did not have many high level questions, but their tests would be extremely complicated(1st year engineering stuff) so those seven months just rushed by without me understanding anything. I quit going in Nov 2023 and started my prep on my own. It was a wise decision.
As a person who actually starting to prepare for JEE at a young age, My respect for childern who were FORCED to join such institutes for competitive exams like JEE, or NEET, and esp IIT. are extremely high. I'm studying as phase 2 student in ALLEN Chennai and due to schools coaching classes, i was diagnosed with attack stage and pro-drome stage migraine at the age of 14.. Yes its true that some institutes use education as business, But most blames go for schools...From my school, 12 students from diff. class su*iced due to parental pressure and depression. Such a shame that they were from class 7-11th students...
Most people had negative experiences with FIITJEE but surprisingly my experience was pretty positive. I studied in Lucknow some years back and the teachers were really good and taught with full enthusiasm. Although the physics faculty wasn't that good but the chemistry and maths faculty were top level teachers who really changed my perspective about the subjects. I think the feeling of being in a rat race/extreme competition is mostly present in cities like Delhi and Kota although most of the faculty in lucknow have already left/leaving and joining Allen because FIITJEE are not paying them for more than 3 months. However I also want to add how they make you sign 7-8 legal documents just so you cannot refund the fees if you find the teaching unsatisfactory which is extremely scummy.
With allen it's completely opposite... You can get ur fees refund if you want to leave and if your not satisfied with faculty (if whole batch isn't) then you can ask the management to change the teachers
A friend of mine studies in Fitijee. She calls me once a week and always tells me how the security guards , peon ,etc of FIITJEE behave with the students and how they mentally irritate them. They always interrupt the students on every thing whether it is the student's mistake or not. They tell parents that their child will be allowed to use the lift as the classes are on 4-5th floor but , when we take admission and join the classes, we find out that they lied to our parents. People who live on rent usually walks to the class and then they have to reach the 4-5th floor by climbing the stairs and to attend their classes. And yet our parents are told that we have got good facilities there.
18:55 you are right, we have collages but not even proper faculty there. Yesterday i visited a govt college in my nearby town for BSC and after reaching there and talking to the teacher i come know that collage only have one teacher for bsc and that teacher only teaches chemistry and more shocking is that teacher is only for hindi medium students and for rest two subjects you have to study for your own. And if you are a English medium student than you have take chemistry class in hindi and give exam in english and study rest two subjects by your own. This is condition of our education system.
@@tharabhai1794 why should govt do everything? Why are people going to such coaching centres and destroying themselves. Moreover is it govt problem that people are given only two choices(JEE and NEET) and maybe a third choice(UPSC). This cancer is very old and will not go easily.

Hi Dear Mohak, I am from Maharashtra. Colleges here are not just providing low-quality education; in fact, they are failing to provide any meaningful education at all. These institutions lack sufficient faculty to teach students. The few faculty members they do have, or are in the process of recruiting, are under immense pressure due to corruption. Colleges are demanding bribes ranging from Rs 5,000,000 to 8,000,000 for selection in the interview process, creating a deeply flawed and corrupt system. Despite my qualifications-holding a PhD, having qualified NET three times, SET, GATE twice, and ICMR, being a university second topper, and having extensive teaching and research experience-I am still unable to secure a position as an assistant professor because of this corrupt system. Students appreciate my teaching, yet the merit of candidates like myself is overlooked in favor of those who can afford to pay bribes.
College politics and corruption are the worst. You'd hope for a better environment when you are recruited into a college as a teacher. But what you see is jaw dropping because they do not see students as learners rather cash cows they can mint their money from. Any In fact when I had a few backlogs in my college days I had cursed myself for being incompetent to pass. But now when I see tbe internal system of how professors are forced to rush the syllabus. Some topics are purely skimmed over. The topics taught in class are like dal chawal while questions asked in exam are biryani types. And how students are made to run from department to department for simplest works that they don't even get the time to study. It's all a farce system designed to make you fail. Some toppers walk through it unscathed bcZ they don't rely on college in the first place they start their self study from day one and are ready for any type of questions. While others despite giving their 100% are doomed bcZ of poor teaching standards and
This was a very insightful video, it is really unfortunate that these coaching centers can get away with stuff like this because of the high demand... I myself was forced to go into them twice and both times I refused to attend lmao I just did not like them one bit...
18:20 to 19:40 was perhaps the most important take-home message The reason people obsess over the IITs include a social one ("our daughter is cleverer than yours"), which I think of as okay, but also an economic one: to climb the economic social ladder. That too, I find okay, but at what cost is it to be achieved? Ruining many a hapless child’s childhood? Also, behind the T in IIT, lies S: Science. I wonder if any institutes or their advertisements talk about inculcating an appreciation for this S. If it is just clearing exams (as a proxy for climbing the socioeconomic ladder), then maybe "coaching institutes" are better referred to as "Socioeconomic Status Augmentation Programmes" (with a non-100% success rate in augmenting any member’s socioeconomic status)
Ye sitam ka riwaaj kyuun hai Jaisa hai ye samaaj kyun hai Ye duniya ki hai rasmein, Mai hoon ab inke basme Ye Jo duniya ki hai rasmein main hoon ab inke hi basme. Although the whole qawwali is about love these lines perfectly describe each and every aspect of life and our society
You are correct bhaiya, for most of families in our country, especially to the lower middle class and poor family, they think that there are only two options, either IIT or IAS , so that they can come out of their poverty or any social discrimination. And mostly, these coaching industries take the advantage of the limited knowledge and access of these families. It's really a big problem although sometimes seems too general. Thanks for this content 🙏❤
I am from fiitjee bbsr and the teaching is awesome and better than Allen and pw for sure. I dunno about other branches but this branch doesn't deserve such defamation. Becuz the teachers are so amazing they clear all ur doubts and good q of all levels (mostly high) are given.
Remember, IIT is not the end. Do not ignore private institutes, as they might as well be much, much better than local and low-tier government colleges. It is really hard, I know, but even if you don't clear JEE, you can still do so much with your life. Do your research and pick good colleges for going into just in case you can't secure IIT seats.
So many coaching institutes try to lure in students as young as 11-12 years old, we have Allen, fitjee, Aakash etc trying to do this by offering attractive scholarships On the other hand you have coachings that are disguised as schools like Narayana and Chaitanya, and since they run like schools on the outside, govt rules regarding coaching centres can’t even directly apply to them.
Thank you Mohak for showing dark side of Fiitjee ,i also got scammed by fiitjee,i was enrolled as a dropper student in fiitjee in 2022-23 and the faculties there have no motivation and there are no regular classes, only 2 classes a day for a dropper student,no weekly test etc along with Saturday and Sunday institute is off, even after paying 2 lakh i have to study online, eventually having a much potential i failed up in jee .The government must take strict action against these institutes!!
My experience I'm currently in fiitjee gurgaon class 9, 2 year program. First i joined Fiitjee in 7th. See, there are 3 categories of students:- 1) Toppers (studied at home in 5th,6th and have a brilliant base) 3-4% students. They show off their knowledge (some) and because of them environment is toxic. 2) Middle (Joined coaching, had some base) get harassed mentally and are in pressure 90-95 % people or told by parents to join 3) Horrible students 3-4% They distract others play music and don't study Teachers generally have focus on type 1, very few type 2. What I noticed was that those children in type 1 only were 1st, 2nd, very less were from type 2,3. Horrible environment. 5-6 hrs of continuous classes. regular tests. Teachers, students demotivated by salary and study. Children study 30-40 hrs a week (some even more including school). The rules that were thought of implementing in jan 2024, were god savers (but they're not implemented). Simply institues run for money, name nothing else. If you really want to come into JEE field, take privated tutions from a well studied person. (in fiitjee in class 6-8 many teachers are seriously not teaching well except a few. they directly teach 11th class concept to grades 8,9 without any base.) Books of megacosm are outdated. If you want, you can only take their books, not go to coahing. Only toppers from earlier generally succeed until you study 3-4 hrs a day except fiitjee. My request to govt. - please implement those rules that were published in jan 2024.
Fiitjee almost ruined my entire future, but i somehow (and that involved a lot of effort from my parents who were always beside me, i love you muma and papa) came out of that and today i am at a new Beginning, and i hope that i get into a good University, but i also understand that very few parents are actually listening to their children and letting their children to take their own initiative and pursue what they want, these institutions are like vultures waiting for right moment to strike on unsuspecting parents and children to sell them dreams and ***k with their lives, until the parents understand this, coaching institutes like this will keep misleading and ruining lives.... The sad thing is that many students never come out of this mess, and have to live with that regret.... Everything that mohak said, i have seen happen in first person... And i can say that whatever mohal said is the real and the only ground reality..
4:05 exactly this type of thing happened with me when i was in class 9th, that so called agent of akash buyjus visited my home he took my test I scored very bad in that exam because I was not studying back than my full 8th and half of class 9 was ruined by COVID,..the buyjys agent threaten my mother and said your kid will score below 50 In 10th exam that's my guarantee and I was also convinced my mother got numbness in her eyes i couldn't see that then at last he proposed a offer he will give me tablets booklets and full guidance upto 10th class, courses which are specially designed for me then he said the price "jyada nahi sirf 60k hai" my finical condition was not good to handle that load but because that agent threaten my mother she was ready to pay the fee... after one year without buying the 60k batch i brought the pw 600 rupees boards booster got 87%

I just started learning Java a few weeks back and trust me it's impossible to understand the language of the book
I am a former FIITJEE student. When my JEE Mains exam came close, I left FIITJEE stuff and started watching Vedantu JEE videos on TH-cam. I really loved it, their way of teaching was just amazing. It really helped me in JEE Mains exam.
As someone who studied at Fiitjee, which killed all my interest in physics, I applaud you for making this video. Thanks!
They did a similar thing to me by killing my interest in mathematics. (Still regretting joining fiitjee)
Same, I started to hate chemistry because the teachers expected us to already know the topic and hence never actually taught us something or even bothered to
So true ngl I searched for phy vid on yt i found those more engaging and better than my offline classes
These instructions don't exist to foster anyone's interest in academics , they're just there to get you through a screening test
I did leave fiitjee for this as well, the teachers were too lifeless, they didn't bother abt us and all the students used to have more private tuitions and avoided coaching. Moreover, there was this one maths teacher who taught us really well, recently he also left Fiitjee and joined Allen.

Yes.

My anecdotal experience -
I'm from a small town near Mumbai I passed out 10th in 2014 & remember many of my topper friends from well to do families started JEE prep early, they joined big coaching centres sacrificed their childhood for a better future.
Pathetic.

It's heaven if you have good brain and hell if u are average I can understand u buddy
@@Ayush-mg6xw its hell for both, an class 7th student shouldn't have this much pressure on him, it'll only ruin his brain even if it teaches him some higher standard questions.

Hlo akshat. I think you are feom kv. Are u preparing for jee??
True
Yes its true that some institutes use education as business,
But most blames go for schools...From my school, 12 students from diff. class su*iced due to parental pressure and depression.
As an Allen student I can completely agree cuz I went in FITJEE I had seen staff issues which made me realise to not opt for FITJEE
And yet our parents are told that we have got good facilities there.
lift isnt the issue here , quality of education is
@@hauntingpredator4710 I agree that lift is not that big issue but the mental irritation students get there is also one of the big issues
bullshit...I study in FIITJEE delhi and there is no such issue

18:55 you are right, we have collages but not even proper faculty there. Yesterday i visited a govt college in my nearby town for BSC and after reaching there and talking to the teacher i come know that collage only have one teacher for bsc and that teacher only teaches chemistry and more shocking is that teacher is only for hindi medium students and for rest two subjects you have to study for your own. And if you are a English medium student than you have take chemistry class in hindi and give exam in english and study rest two subjects by your own. This is condition of our education system.
Government should take strict action against these kind of institutes. Education is more like a business for most of the institutes.
What if govt gets money as well
@@tharabhai1794 why should govt do everything? Why are people going to such coaching centres and destroying themselves. Moreover is it govt problem that people are given only two choices(JEE and NEET) and maybe a third choice(UPSC). This cancer is very old and will not go easily.

Great topic chosen Mohak, keep up the good work💪
Hi Dear Mohak,
I am from Maharashtra.
Yup...i too have witnessed this horrible situation . On top of that, the govt. wants to implement NEP despite such appalling situation in colleges.
Move abroad if it's possible. You deserve better.
@@amlanjyoti2 yes I am trying. But my deshbhakti says do something better for people of you country and this make me think harder.

18:20 to 19:40 was perhaps the most important take-home message
The reason people obsess over the IITs include a social one ("our daughter is cleverer than yours"), which I think of as okay, but also an economic one: to climb the economic social ladder.
Title needs one more star for it to be "F***ed".
☝🤓
I think he meant "F***s up" because the institute keeps f***ing up from time to time.
It's corrected now. Lol

I am from fiitjee bbsr and the teaching is awesome and better than Allen and pw for sure. I dunno about other branches but this branch doesn't deserve such defamation. Becuz the teachers are so amazing they clear all ur doubts and good q of all levels (mostly high) are given.
True
Pehle main sochta tha, ye coaching institutes bohot achee hai, but a lot of thanks for this information bruhhhh.... because I'm also a JEE aspirant ❤
I agree what you said about BYJUS. I am going to VMC from 9th and there is nothing like bad like FIITJEE. I am happy that i am going there.
So many coaching institutes try to lure in students as young as 11-12 years old, we have Allen, fitjee, Aakash etc trying to do this by offering attractive scholarships
On the other hand you have coachings that are disguised as schools like Narayana and Chaitanya, and since they run like schools on the outside, govt rules regarding coaching centres can’t even directly apply to them.
My experience
I'm currently in fiitjee gurgaon class 9, 2 year program. First i joined Fiitjee in 7th.
See, there are 3 categories of students:-
1) Toppers (studied at home in 5th,6th and have a brilliant base) 3-4% students. They show off their knowledge (some) and because of them environment is toxic.
2) Middle (Joined coaching, had some base) get harassed mentally and are in pressure 90-95 % people or told by parents to join
3) Horrible students 3-4% They distract others play music and don't study
Teachers generally have focus on type 1, very few type 2.
(in fiitjee in class 6-8 many teachers are seriously not teaching well except a few. they directly teach 11th class concept to grades 8,9 without any base.)
Books of megacosm are outdated.
It's true even in my village most of the parents obsesed with "iit" tag.
Even due to my parents i am now a jee aspirant🙂
