When is wearing a hijab became a choice? It was always a mandatory thing for Islam. And If you really want to preach its a choice, then first try wearing sarees or churidhars, and if no one scolds you or attacks you then you wearing hijab is indeed a choice.
@@daviddashi3422 wearing a hijab has become a choice over the period of time. I have a muslim friend and she doesn't wear hijab on a regular basis. In many islamic nations also, hijab is not compulsory.
@@hillaignorous Your friend is extremely privileged to be in a family that doesn't attack her on such things. But reality is way too different. I am from Kerala and rich muslims here like any other rich people are able to ignore social pressures and religious rules of wearing such attires. But for middle and lower class its a nightmare. Those girls don't even have the capacity to think about not wearing a hijab. So for them it feels like a choice when in reality its not. And climate wise its a very unwise choice just like coat and tie. Blind adaptation of dress without knowing why they are used for is what's wrong with us.

If you dont want to follow an aspect of Islam then that is totally up to you but dont try to mold and change the religion according to your desires. The meaning of hijab is clear by the actions performed by the Prophet's wives and family which is that they covered their heads with a veil . So kindly dont change the religion just because you dont want to follow it. If a Muslim, for example choses to drink alcohol then I leave that matter to him/her but altleast they shouldn't be changing the religion to justify their actions.@@meharafshan2726

It could turn into a chaos.....sikh community would be looking at them as dictators.....same rule is applied on hijaab... It's the tradition it is believed to be sacred so why shouldn't they follow their tradition.... For hindus... Let's say they weren't allowed to wear bhagwa....that would obviously be wrong... Traditions always have a sacred and deep reason behind them in my opinion
Absolutely right sir. And kisi ke turban pehen ne, hijab odhne, hath me sacred thread, ya kuch bhi aisa pehenne se there is not any threat or harm to any other person in any way, so people are no one to stop any one from practising their religious believes. Even, we should realise that how beautiful all our cultures are! Love!
You are right sir, but now these beliefs go against the idea of uniforms in school. Which has its own meaning, uniform is meant to make people feel equal irrespective of religion, cast, race, economic background etc. I strongly feel asking for equality in educational institutions is more secular and important move than advocating for religious rules which is communal in my opinion.
Gone are those golden school days when the entire class used to play, study, laugh and share our lunch boxes regardless of the cast and religion. Really sad to see all these negativity and uncivilized behavior spreading in our nation!

Now tell me if someone cannot wear short skirt but the school strictly rules that one must wear skirts and their legs should be shown. Cuz after all stopping someone from wearing hijab means your hair should be shown after all right? Will that be okay for people who is uncomfortable to show their legs to wear skirt so that no 'so called ' problem should arise in school. A school should teach their students to respect others comfortableness. I have a Hindu feeling wearing dhaga in her hand . I never had any problem with her. Why any one should have any problem in someone wearing hijab. I mean I didn't knew we make friends and be peace with only people who does everything like me. 😂😂😂

I'm from Bangladesh and I'm a Muslim girl. My parents or my society never force me to wear hijab. I wear hijab whenever I go out from my house. Without hijab I can't go out because I feel uncomfortable. I feel like I'm in danger. Wearing hijab is my choice not anyone's force and I'm a adult person. I can chose whatever I want.
When girl dont cover their hair and figure and boys not protect their eyes and mind...then the Rape and divorce rate will be high...also frustration will come also...they will turn on by seeing their hair and figure and rape some girls....some woman influencing them to not protect their eyes and mind u know what i mean
I am a Muslim woman born in a liberal Muslim family where hijab and religion were never a priority. My parents never ever said anything about wearing the hijab .
But as I grew older I started to question about the purpose of life and since Islam was the religion that was the most accessible to me , I started to look into it and found my answers…
It’s different for different people ..some find peace and solace in meditation, some in their religion and so on… Wearing the hijab was entirely my decision..it brought me peace and taught me to not feel insecure about my looks because a woman has so much to offer than her physical appearance.
I agree that many Muslim parents force their daughters to wear the hijab but not all.
Can I ask you something please??

I completely agree my sister wears hijab but I don't. it's not forced by family
And why the hell Muslim girls leave home wearing hijaab and in college we can easily see them in jeans or shorts etc. Why this happens. Your family doesn't force you won't prove it for all of Muslims and congrats you are under 1% of those who hv cool parents like u😂❤
