Conceptual question's answer (1):- it is in reality more than 42 kg...because when we are on weighing machine, the fluid (air) exerts upward thrust on us through our foot(called buoyant force).. So the real mass - buoyant force= mass shown by weighing machine 2nd question:- because cotton has less density,,,so it'll be less heavier when compared with an iron 3rd question:- it'll remain same because when the stones were on the boat then the amount of water displaced by the mass of boat(contain man and all the stones) will equal to that of when he throw all the stones... I hope smjh gye hoge😉.. ।। 😂 just an example Last question's answer:- it'll sinks Because it's density will 50/20 (density= mass/volume) as the density of water is also in g cm^3... So water density will also in g cm^3... (For simplicity).. (Waise bhi g cm^3 is a CGS UNIT) so object density= 50/20 = 2.5 g cm^3 Object density/Water density = 2.5....so it'll sink... Because it's more than 1😊
Nhi dildeewane bhai water ka jo level hai wo same rhega q ki Pani ke upar nao aur nao ke uper patthar to patthar ka volume v to nao mai add hua issi liye agar hamlog patthar ko Lake mai dalenge to nao ka to force ghat jayega agar hamlog bahar se patthar fekte to bhale bol skte thhe ki Pani ka volume rise karega
According to archimedes principal the cotton bag is more heavier than a iron bar because due to greater upward thrust buoyant force of air acting on cotton bag the weighning machine will show a much lesser mass of a cotton than that the iron so in reality, 100 kg mass of cotton bag weighened in air will be heavier than 100 kg of iron weighned in air ❤😊 ,thank you for likess👍🏻

3.) 1:00:15 When the man throws stones from the boat into the pond, the water level will decrease. The stones contribute to the boat's weight.The boat sinks deeper into the water to displace enough water to balance the weight of the stones.The volume of water displaced is proportional to the total weight of the boat (including stones).The stones now displace water based on their own volume, not weight.Stones are denser than water, so their volume is much smaller compared to the volume of water displaced when they were in the boat. So, When the stones are in the boat, they displace more water (due to their weight) than when they are in the pond (due to their smaller volume).Hence, as stones are thrown into the pond, the water level decreases.
CONCEPTUAL QUESTIONS:ARCHIMEDES PRINCIPLE 1. The air exerts an upward force (buoyant force or up thrust) on our body and makes us slightly lighter than we actually are. So the weight shown on the weighing scale would be less than 42 kg .Thus we can say that our actual weight / mass will be slightly more. 2.The bag of cotton is heavier than the bar of iron. The cotton bag experiences a larger air thrust than the iron bar. Therefore, the weighing machine indicates less weight than its actual weight for the cotton bag. 3.When stones are thrown into water, the water level rises. The density of stones is greater than that of water. When the stones are thrown into the water, they replace the same amount of water as the stones themselves. Hence,the water level rises...... Q. 3) If something is submerged in water, it will displace an amount of water equal to its volume. If something is floating in water it will displace an amount of water equal to Its weight. Initially, stone and boat is floating so, water displace is equal to the weight of stone + weight of boat Now, stone is dropped in water but boat is still floating. So, now Volume of water displaced=weight of boat+ volume of stone We know that density of stone is greater than that of water Density=mass/volume As density is higher of stone its volume will be less. So, volume of water displaced in second case when the stone is dropped is less than when boat is filled with stones. So, water level will drop/fall when you throw stone in water.
Q3 Ans:- according to Archimedes principal when any object immersed in liquid then diplace liquid in liquid in known as buoyant force.. Like that only uo jabb stone ko dala pani me taab water ka level thoda upar aa gya kyuki stone ko pani me pakne ka karan pani ne displace kiya Thankyou❤️👍🙏
First answer of conceptual question in my view ....weighting machine measure weight thus it is your weight not mass ....👍😊 And second ans....both of same mass 100kg...so,they are equal
1. Sir mass of object is consent so, 42 kg hi rahega.😊😮😊 2. 100kg iron = 100kg cotton so, cotton and iron are equal.😂😮😂 LIKE this ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ LIKE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The weighing machine gives output in kg and as kg is S.I unit of "mass" It's telling us our mass, because it's has a small microcontroller in it which has been programmed to gives us the mass because when we stand 🧍on it we give it mg so after calculating it's telling us our mass. So for calculating it must have to divide the value ie mg by g but the value of g varies with places so there is no constant value of g. So the weighing machine cannot give accurate mass
Basically weighing machine measure normal force. It measure Kg-force. Hint: weighing machine measures the amount of normal acts upon it. In ideal situation, when we stand on a weighing machine, our weight acts downwards due to gravity, while upthrust due to air acts upwards as we as a body displace the amount of air as we stand upon the weighing machine. This upward force is the buoyant force. As a result, the body gets pushed slightly upwards, causing the weighing machine to show a reading less than the actual value. Thus, the weighing machine measures our apparent weight, which is less than the true weight. The actual mass will be more than 42 kg.
i have a doubt... 26:00 what if the pot is filled with fine sugar particles or salt ? it will start to come out from the holes...what does it mean? maybe because solid particles are way too small in size than the hole ?
hw question 1 A weighing machine measures the weight of a body and is calibrated to show mass. When we stand on a weighing machine, our weight acts downwards while upthrust due to air acts upwards. So, due to upthrust, the body appears to lose some weight. As a result, our apparent weight becomes less than the true weight. The weighing machine measures this apparent weight, and hence the mass indicated by it is less than the actual mass.
for the third one..the water level won't rise because when the stones were on the boat (which they have been from the start) the water level already rose to its maximum level then itself. No further increase in water level will occur as we are not adding these stones externally or afresh. Whether its thrown in the water or if its on the boat, the weight of the stones will be considered and thus, the level rose right from the start itself. However, if we were to just add these stones later on externally (as in, if those stones were not on the boat from the start) then the water level would have risen. So no, i feel it will remain equal. to answer the second one...the iron bar would be heavier. This is because 100kg= wt. of iron bar= wt. of bag + cotton. Now the bag definitely has some weight of its own so if we subtract that weight from that of the total (100kg) then we will get the weight of only cotton. Weight of cotton alone would be less and thus, comparing that weight of cotton (
Sir sound bhi kra dijiye please 🙏🙏🙏 The bag of iron will be more heavier to hold as it would have less surface area in comparison to the cottons bag. Therefore irons bag would exert more pressure.
Sir question no 1 answer when a school bag has a strap made of a thin string ,then because of this thin string, the weight of a school bag will follow a very small area of the shoulder of the child This will produce a large pressure on the shoulder for hand of the child. The large pressure makes it very painfull to carry the heavy school bag
1) More because of atmospheric pressure. 2) Both weigh same, because both mass is same, and we take g to be constant. 3) The level of water will remain same, as the water will rise when the person will lift the rock, and then fall again when he throws it, so it will be the same. Hw Q1) weight is shown less on the machine Reasoning: air is a fluid and exerts pressure while the gravity of the earth acts on us. This causes upthrust and leads to lossing in the weight on the machine Q2) iron reasoning air particles are tightly packed in iron and has no air spaces and as a result is more dense than cotton. This leads the iron to hv more weight. Q3) the level of water will rise Reasoning: stones are heavier than water and sink. So according to archimedes' principle the level rises. Sir please tell if the answer is correct Comment by Aadya Singh class 7 And sir your sessions are always amazing thank you so much for putting so much effort for making us understand
The pressure exerts in cotton is more because of densile in class 11th you will understand it better of also directly proportional to it's surface area - area or volume..., 2nd one be the density mass of the volume (cubed).
57:43 archimedes principles questions 1. Our weight remains same as 42kg . It will not more or less than 42. 2. My answer is that the bag of iron bar is heavier because iron bar has no air spaces between them so the density of the iron bar will be more but in bag of cotton . Cotton has more air spaces between them so the density will be less in the cotton . Therefore we know that pressure is also dependent on density . Hence the bag of iron bar will be more because of its higher density. 3. Yes , the level of the water increases because according to the archimedes principle it is said that the level of the water increases will numerically equal to weight of the stones . So its level increases but very low.
@@kevinandrew5744 you have to tell which one weighs heavier and it's the iron bar.This is because the surface area is less hence, the pressure exerted is more.Due to this pressure,the block of iron is denser,hence it feels heavier.(as he showed in the example of fish how pressure compressed its size at high density)

3rd solution is wrong cause earlier the stone was not displacing water by its volume but by its area so when we throw the stone in water it will although make the water rise up a little but as the mass of boat will be reduced and we'll see the boat rising so we will observe fall in water level.

1:01:34 It will sink cause

Q. 3) If something is submerged in water, it will displace an amount of water equal to its volume.
If something is floating in water it will displace an amount of water equal to Its weight.
Initially, stone and boat is floating so, water displace is equal to the weight of stone + weight of boat
Now, stone is dropped in water but boat is still floating.
So, now
Volume of water displaced=weight of boat+ volume of stone
We know that density of stone is greater than that of water
Density=mass/volume
As density is higher of stone its volume will be less.
So, volume of water displaced in second case when the stone is dropped is less than when boat is filled with stones.
So, water level will drop/fall when you throw stone in water.
M = 50g
V = 20cm^3
S = 1g/cm^3
Relative density = density of object / density of water
SO = M/V
50/20 = 2.5g/cm^3
2.5g/cm^3 > 1 ( Sink )

And sir your sessions are always amazing thank you so much for putting so much effort for making us understand
The pressure exerts in cotton is more because of densile in class 11th you will understand it better of also directly proportional to it's surface area - area or volume..., 2nd one be the density mass of the volume (cubed).
No it is wrong
Q no 2 wrong answer
Thank you so much sir You are the best best teacher. The way of teaching is tremendous. You had clear my all DOUBTS.
Thank you sir ☺☺🥰🥰🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏
Though this is deleted by CBSE, at least someone is interested in teaching it! Massive thanks Physics wallah!
Yes

Thanks for explanation sir 🙏🙏
57:43 archimedes principles questions
2nd one is wrong bot weigh the same
That is our apparent weight because of buoyancy in fluid(air).
Sir agr Mera bs chle toh Mai physics wallah channel ko crores likes de du ek saath me hi I love physics wallah's teacher Itna mst pdhate hai sir aap jitna tarif kru utna km hai

CONCEPTUAL QUESTIONS:ARCHIMEDES PRINCIPLE
PW student!!!
Bro but Gravitational force also exert on us, if (w=mg) then (m=w/g)
@@Vedanttt.7 yeah bro!!
3rd solution is wrong cause earlier the stone was not displacing water by its volume but by its area so when we throw the stone in water it will although make the water rise up a little but as the mass of boat will be reduced and we'll see the boat rising so we will observe fall in water level.
thankyou so much broo
bro i think that that the mass is constant
30:07~Sir you have great knowledge about this topic. 😅
