Honestly, I will say that this couple is how all couples SHOULD be. Not so much the massive self-doubt nearly destroying the marriage for no reason (Let's face it: the wife's insecurities could easily have led to her cheating, especially when she starts to wonder why HE isn't.) but more helping each other improve in succession, if not in concert. I also find it kind of funny that both husband & wife had the same issues about tying their worth to their paychecks, & seemed to go through nearly the exact same redemption/growth arc. True soul-mates, if ever there were.

True investment in your partner, empathy and understanding along with genuine commitment to each other and communication can overcome almost any challenge. Well done to you two.

Nice to hear one of these with a happy ending. Loved the bit of dancing in the kitchen and pulling the daughter into it. I guarantee that she'll remember it for a long time, even if the daughter doesn't, but the daughter will remember how Mom changed and got happier.

Emotionally healthy people not addicted to drama and who are generally loving and compassionate to their spouses do exist but rarely is there a story about them cause let’s face it drama and high emotion sells. Thanks for this one hearit

I like this type of stories where the husband and wife help each other.

I don’t think the marriage was ever in jeopardy. You both needed to discover your own strength of character.

When I was diagnosed as "pre-diabetic" in February 2022, all I did was stop using sugared drinks in place of food & went to using only water & stuff with Stevia. By September 2022, I'd lost 70 pounds & actually had to reintroduce sugar because I was getting dizzy just getting up & walking to the bathroom. The weight loss was so profound a friend of mine, seeing me for the first time in nearly a year, thought I'd been taking Ozempic. (I later found out, at least part of that was because SHE had been on it.) I didn't even do anything else. Didn't change my diet any, or join a gym, or even go on walks. Just stopped putting pounds of sugar into my bloodstream every day & voila! Extreme weight loss.

I started an elimination diet, just stating with carnivore and slowly adding to see how my body reacts. Lost 50 lbs in 3 weeks after removing sugar and carbs. I'm adding in filler now like veg for extra vitamins and such. Just need to add a 30 min bike ride to my routine

Do its bad when they had to go to a single income.... because it was his? What about when they had to go to a single income and it was hers? Was she upset at that dynamic change? Seems she saw her relationship as a competition more then a relationship

So, he's supporting her by taking care of the home and kids, which he SHOULDNT do, She literally is also responsible for the home, kids too. He took his health serious, got into great shape and got a great job, numerous promotions and she's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo delulu, insecure that SHE started falling apart bwahahahahahaha!!!!! No you weren't partners, equals, he was getting the short end of the stick. The relationship actually became a competition to her.
