I want to see Chief, Locke and Arby outnumbered against either Cortana's forces, the Storm Faction, or the Banished, and then a portal opens above, and out comes the Spirit of Fire with it's theme blaring, and then Red team enters the fray

halo never disappointed me with the sound track, halo 4 didn't sound like halo but it was still damn good
BT -7274 well I'd agree with you but Halo 5 kinda happened. I do not like Halo 5's music at all. It's like they ended a tradition of best video game music...

Andrew your not alone the songs you listed are a small amount of great tunes from Halo 5's list. Yes I agree Halo 4 OST did not sound true to the Halo theme. But I think they made a great comeback with Halo 5 Halo Spartan Strike and Halo Wars 2. It was only Halo 4 where they struggled as it was their first major title (for 343i)
halo 5 was a disappointment as it didn't really have a soundtrack.

George Vincent CH 343 did not do this, they themselves still hold the walking failures badge.
343 would have overseen the story direction, having say on what got the green light and what didn't.
This is what 343i is capable of when Microsoft doesn't interfere and forces 343i to rewrite a campaign.
The story of Halo Wars 2 is nothing special if i'm being honest. They already showed what they were capable of with Halo 4, but then, i'd say thats because they had Schlerf.

This is waaaay better than halo 5. halo 5 doesn't have a soundtrack that yoou can listen to. But this, this is actual music!

@@Leny-gv3yp By itself, h5's soundtrack is really good. But strictly in terms of Halo, "The Trials" and possibly the soundtrack to the first soundtrack are the only ones that feel "Halo". 4 had a somewhat similar problem.
