    Don't forget the Front Mount Intercooler!😂😂

    • @JacesOwnWorld
      @JacesOwnWorld 3 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      The intercooler isn’t necessarily a power mod. It just recoups the power that your car already has, but is lost due to heat soak.
      That being said, you did get the 3 mods right. Downpipe first, tune second, and intercooler third. Most people forget about the intercooler because of its cost, so I get it, BUT if you want your turbo to continue to be reliable, you’re going to want an upgraded intercooler. All the other stuff, such as intake, exhaust, pipes, etc. should be done after the intercooler upgrade, solely for reliability concerns.

    "stage" this and that. Stage implies 'off the shelf' or 'canned' tune. Personally, I wouldn't recommend sticking with an OTS map. Purchase a pro tune, have a reputable tuner dial your car in. For a couple hundred bucks, you can get tuned for 93 and e30, get maximum power and fuel mileage, and safely.
    I did run the Cobb ots maps for about a year, with no problems, myself. Some people may not know what to look for, to make sure their car is running within safe parameters, particularly AFR's and monitoring KR. Once a tuner receives a Datalog from a customer, they will make sure you're not going to pop your motor, while extracting as much power as they can with a custom MAF calibration, and IDC, WGDC, timing, boost.

    Intake or air filter..... Definitely NOT a requirement for stage 1. Most cheap intakes (even some expensive ones) will increase the IAT(the colder and denser the air the better). If you aren't pulling air in from some outside source you will lose power. (The usp intake shown in this video is a true CAI since it still uses the stock ducting)

    Nice video, and about the pops and bangs thats so incredible lameass. Who wants to have the sounds of an old diesel tractor on a modern car. Its not cool it gives no more hp. So pops and bangs is Shit.
