    SB2s have blown me out the water, already put 20 miles on them and loving them for my long runs and tempo work. Great review man!

      Northern Arizona, the best place to run imo. Thanks for the comment and kind words 😊

    Needing to change out my current shoes as their milage is abit silly high, looking at the superblast 2 for long runs and some workouts and pairing with novablast 4 for daily miles. Great to hear the information and comparison you gave drew I'm definitely sold on them

      That sounds like a great rotation. Pretty much what I’m doing. Increasingly impressed with ASICS these days, still haven’t tried their super shoes though - maybe I should 🤔

    If SB1 was 1/2 size too large should I size up in SB2 also? Thanks for the great review. I visited flagstaff a few years ago. Really nice city

      MY experience was that both are true to size. However the upper on SB1 fits more loosely than SB2, giving SB2 a more snug comfortable fit. Again this is with my feet and my experience taking them out for a few runs. Thanks for sharing, happy running 🙏

    Great review!, I am slow heavier runner 52 yo, 82 lbs I do 25 to 30 miles per week, average 9 minutes per mile, do yo think the Superblast 2 will be do it all for me like easy, daily and use it for 5K and 10K races?.

    • @DrewMartig
      @DrewMartig  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jorgecastrejon1611 Funny enough, you’re actually the perfect use case for that IMO. Depending on pacing, super shoes that cost upwards of $250 these days can have diminishing returns with heavier or slower runners. And as a result, many folks end up wasting money. In cases like these I’d say something like a SuperBlast would be a great shoe to try out as a do-it-all. They’re cheaper than a carbon plated super shoe but can work better for your mechanics and minimize injury.
      I’d be wary of only having one pair depending on how many miles you run, so maybe buying one pair as a test is good for a couple weeks, then if you like it investing in a second pair. From then you can alternate shoes to minimize wear and stay injury free. Just a suggestion based on experience of myself and others I coach. 😃
