Thank you Nic for this and for all your amazing videos and wondeful teaching. I never thought my body would start to be able to exercise again after my accident but it is and it is enjoying it again and feeling like I am getting slowly stronger. I love the use of breath in qi and how uiy explain it. I am so grateful to you.
Hello. I have tried a few of your workouts (especially calming the nervous system) and find them fascinating. So grateful that you have shared your wisdom with the world. Regarding this upper body and core strength training how often should we do this in a week? And what about other strengthening videos. How often would you do those per week?
In my experience, working out a particular muscle group 1-2x weekly will get it gradually stronger. So you might do this 1-2x weekly. Perhaps balance it with pullups once or twice a week and a lower body workout once or twice a week. So total would be 3-6 workout sessions per week, if you want to make strength gains consistently.
Thanks for writing Karen! Remember to modify or skip any exercise that you need to. When you are starting a new routine, do not do more than about 60% of your end range. You will get stronger in your body's own time. And always, breath is your best friend in any challenging situation.
@@TheNickLoffree yeah I just clicked on the link as it was top of the list. Thumbnails are hard to see on a phone like. Doesnt justify using Qigong as a means to pull people in. Planks and pushups are just not that and have nothing to do with it. Just call it core exercises 🙄
Cracking job Nick - son down for Christmas season and now learning - has asperger's so focus is different for him we are so appreciating this!
Yes! This is everything! Please make more videos like this :)

Pushups are not Qigong. Bit misleading title. Stopped at 6 minutes 🙄
I am doing a pushup in the video thumbnail 😅
