The randomizer made me realize how much cooler the final fight would have been with some smaller enemies sprinkled in.
What if to show how deranged Ganon is in dark beast you can just see monsters getting destroyed in its wake
Facts. I honestly think botw has the worst final boss fight.
Botw final fight sucks, like yeah its cinematic but like you just shoot a few giant marks. And you don't even use anything you find along the way.
i feel like that would be too much to focus on

enemies on the field is really what the final phase of Ganon needed. Put some actual danger in there.
Compared to the original that was just a cutscene. Why shouldn't Ganon's final phase have adds?

I'm on board with everything except items disappearing from the inventory. Making progress in a tough situation is fun, having that progress taken away is artificial difficulty.
I think this is meant to be more akin to Chaos Mario 64 then a fair randomizer
@@PointsofData That's a fair point, however I feel like items in BoTW are as important to progress as stars are in SM64.
@@superscatboy You do get alot of items randomly as much as taken away, so I think this is fine
@@superscatboy that's fair but the Chaos mod fucks with stars too IIRC, not the amount you have but what ones you can reach. I might just be thinking of the byproduct of some of the chaos but still.
@@PointsofData I seem to recall watching someone trying to 100% it and having their snowman’s land stars get taken like 3 times, although I may be confusing that with crowd control lol.

Agreed, it would have been so sick if enemies were chasing you like that in the vanilla version.
I think Relics of the Past does that as well actually

How to make Dark Beast Ganon remotely interesting:
Honestly, I wish they'd add the ability to customize what Randomizer Cycle effects will be used and which ones won't.
Or remove the cycle entirely, if you don't want to have it.
Because as it is right now, I wouldn't enjoy it whatsoever.
The other Randomizer might not have a lot of cool things here, but at least it keeps things chill and playable.
Despite me not enjoying randomized Spirit Orbs, I think right now the non-Waketeru Rando is my preferred choice.
Though that can be easily fixed by adding options, which I hope they will do in the future.
Tbf this is meant to be more akin to the Chaos Mode mod of SM64 then a fair randomizer. Options would definitely expand its audience/usefulness though.
@@PointsofData Well it is called a "Randomizer" though, so the naming convention might be off in this case.
Still, it has some cool stuff, that the other one doesn't have, which would be awesome to have, if you could pick and choose the features. ;)
Heck, at this point, why not combine both Randos with full customization abilities? :P
@@paragonyoshi4237 In kingdom hearts they have a similar thing going on that they simply call a chaos randomizer. I don’t think they have the loading zones or random teleporting but stuff like the music, damage values and the like are all taken care of

All the old Zelda games are gold, I hate that all those armor from the previous games are locked behind a paywall.
@@ppbomber_ to be fair a ton of people collected them in the 3 years between their release and the game. Also amiibo unlock things in a ton of games, not just BotW

Huh, so you seem to have gotten the paraglider almost immediately, even before the tower and shrines, but we didn't actually see _when_ you got it. I know from watching others play it that you can get it out of a random chest and it seems to show up fairly early in the run, but it's not necessary to leave the plateau anymore so you could technically have gone quite a while without it.
I had no idea that there were so many environments... Well I did but I guess I never thought any more about it then "put on that fireproof armor"
First saw this at Huebi's Streams and my good, this mod is entertaining. There are definitely still some things that need improving, but Waiku did a great job
I feel like future iterations of this mod could be even better, not only since items being removed doesn't feel too fun but also cause if there end up being more codes added then it won't feel so repetitive. I've watched many hours of simpleflips playing chaos mario so I feel like this could be on a similar level

I watched two other videos on this new randomiser so TH-cam recommended me this one. Not complaining, I'm happily watching 10 more version of this mod, it looks so much fun! :)

I might be in the minority here, but I think this is a bit too much. Having random enemies, random items, random load zones, and a big list of objectives sounds great. But when you invalidate it all by randomly punishing the player every minute for no conceivable reason, one of the ways in which is by removing the items that the randomizer makes interesting, it all just loses all its appeal to me personally.
ye, adding that to things like finishing divine beasts doesn't actually give you the champion item means hunting for goals like Revali+ comes down to Chest RNG Happy Fun Time
i feel like this randomizer can be described with a simple sentence:
"the randomizer giveth, and the randomizer taketh away"
Now we have an answer to a question no one asked

there are zombie bokoblins in skyward sword, i think they're called like cursed bokoblins or something but just by looking at them you can tell they're suppose ro be zombie versions of the monster

Was my first time watching a botw randomizer and it was a ton of fun with Linkus. Hope we see another run soon.
The big three all played this mod. And by the big three, I mean Ant, Crow, and Linkus.
Now what i am hoping for is a BOTW multiplayer mod
I think the random warps are a bit much for me, personally. A changing environment and randomized enemies sound fun though

Chaos, or insanity? Or both? It's so much fun seeing you lose your shit playing with the randomizer, because you're such a good player you make everything you do when playing BotW without it look so easy.
