The Witcher 3 | Hearts of Stone | Translated Ending - What Master Mirror said (Gaunter O'Dimm)

- Curious what Master Mirror (Gaunter O'Dimm) has to say at the end of hearts of stone? Watch my version with english subtitles. This was worked out by running subtitles of various languages through translate and piecing it together. It might not be 100% accurate but id say its 95% and you get the jist of what his saying. interesting news, CD projekt red CEO Adam Kicinski said that it would be unfair on fans to not make the witcher 4! Who else would love to see master mirror return? (THANK YOU for all the support in 2020! Leave a like if your here because the Netflix Witcher show got you back into the game! also who would you cast as master mirror if he featured in the show??)
Thankfully the hype train's tickets aren't to pricy, but it isn't leaving for awhile.
Yeah, now let wait till around 2024
He would probably be central antagonist.
Whoa I know this comment is 10 months old but are you able to link me to the video or article you read for this? I'd really love to read it.
R1 Gaming I hope O'dimm comes back in #4
Geralt: *Fights possibly one of the most powerful beings in the universe who can literally stop time*
Also Geralt: Casually says “gotcha” like he caught a fish
"Look ciri i caught an interdimensional being"
That's why he said "you are insignificant". He is a fool to not know what he is dealing with, and O'Dimm doesn't care about this ignorance. For him he is just a speck.
Lol but you have to understand that some demons or powerful beings are very strict with their rules. Another good example for this is Eris the Goddess of Discord from the movie Simbad. Lobo from Puss in Boots 2 also follows this rule.
@@legoshirocha Lobo is a pretty bad example. This mf basically does whatever he wants - he wanted to take Puss'es life out of pure pettiness.

I like how he still claps, even when being utterly defeated in his own game.
He is impressed but furious
He is well-mannered is why.

Gaunter o' Dimm is the one character i would not mess with. He is scary, and all-powerful.
all-powerful.? no way, he cant even locate ciri or someone that basically lost in time and space
well ciri was purposefully hidden from him and everyone else by powerful magic, maybe the only time he cannot find her, or anyone else.
Makedeth
then he's not all-powerful, or anti-God or equivalent, which led me suspicious of the nature of his power. Perhaps its just simple mind trickery? Also, wild hunt and ciri power are one of the reason why time-altering magic is not exclusive to the likes of o'dimm.
Wish granting is not simple mindtricks. He is really powerful. Not a god or anything, but more powerful than a djinn or elder vampires.
Ciri has greater powers, she stopped the white frost no way Gaunter could've done the same
he spoke in my native language ( georgian ) i feel so fucking proud that CD project red thought it sounded epic and ancient!

Laura Castañeda
Devil went down to redania
He was looking for help with an Olgierd
He was havin’ a fun time
Never lost his mind
After making that one deal
He came across an old Geralt
Saw him on a contract,
But soon in a tight spot
Devil jumped on an Ofeiri boat and said
Geralt let me tell you what
I hope I didn’t quite show it
But I’m one mighty man too
And if I care
To help you here
You’ll have to help me too
Now you’ve got some skills old boar
But I’ll give credit where credit is due
I know you could help with a debt
And afterwards you won’t regret
Because I’ll grant another wish for you

His tongue sharp and silvery, as he implores you
Your wishes he grants, as he swears to adore you

All to reclaim, no smile to console you
He snare you with bonds, eyes glowin' afire
To gore and torment you till the stars expire

His initials say GOD

Who's the "mirror" to god?
The mirror to god would be the devil, which fits his description as "evil incarnate."
never thought of that, very cool theory
he reminds me of Crowley

He is maybe my favorite character in The Witcher 3. Really well written, I'm still trying to solve his personality.
He's the devil! Literally!
agreed! i hope he will return in any witcher sequel or spin off, such a fascinating character
+R1 Gaming maybe we'll see him in Cyberpunk 2077.
He goes by many names Gaunter O'Dimm, Walter O'Dimm, Randle Flagg, Merlin....
He is the god of the world of Geralt. He is almighty over everything that belongs to the human world. He has no power over elves, vampires and other creatures from other worlds.
When asked to kill some old vampire(dat nice vampire-guy in blood and wine) he gave someone the power to destroy dat vampire, because he has only power over the human world. (dat is only a theory)
God is a two-faced bitch. He can be nice, but if u ask for something - u need to pay, or your life is gonna be like hell.

The first line you translated as "you are primitive" is actually "you are a rooster, and upon his own pile of shit, a rooster is king."

you are right, however still wrong, their is no 100% accurate translation, i also got this line when translating it from Japanese subs however in other langues i got you are primitive and i thought that made more sense myself so used that. Still you get the idea of what his saying i hope :)
+Andreus +R1 Gaming It's some kind of old french, I forgot what it was called. Anyway it's pretty much a fancy way of calling someone primitive. So you're both right.
Goku Black isn't it Guadeloupean Creole which would be based on French?
First sentence is Antillean Creole. Second sentence is Georgian. Last two sentences are Ossetian.
Gaunter doesn‘t hate Geralt at first, but the moment Geralt tried to save Olgierd you can see Gaunter turned hostile towards Geralt
I don't think he hates him even after winning. But he definitely will be keeping an eye on Geralt. The man who researched him was paid a visit and trapped in a circle. It worries me what he might do to the man who beat him and robbed him of two souls but he basically tells Geralt "well done you win but I'm not that bothered and I'll be back" and I assumed the angry rage filled yell was a show to make Geralt feel he'd won.
Come to think of it.. You may interpret Geralt banishing Gaunter as him interrupting his final (though incomprehensible to all but himself) speech so maybe Gaunter really is angry at Geralt now and wants to put a spoon through his eye. Fuck.
@@ARB1452 still,if a near omniscent entity is about to take vengeance on me then i‘ll be scared shitless
I for my part can understand any anger he might have.
Gaunter is a merchant, a dealmaker.
He's made a deal with Olgierd, a deal with terms that were being fulfilled, with the help of Geralt, no less.
And then, Geralt steps in and basically tries to void said deal or at least to alter it, while Gaunter was always keeping fair to it.
Wouldn't you be at least annoyed too?
@@GhalanSmokeScale i mean, from Geralt‘s perspective if an almost omnipotent entity is pissed at me then i‘ll be scared shitless…but yeah i get what you mean
@@ARB1452 The one thing Gaunter seems to be bound by / holds himself to, is his deals.
Geralt beat him fair and square at a deal, he himself did not have to agree to but did because he wanted to win Geralt's soul.
He'd never renege on that by taking revenge on Geralt after the fact, it would soil the purity of his deal making.

Gaunter O'Dimm is one of the only characters in any medium that gives me chills to think about sometimes. Especially with how perfectly fitting his theme is
The devil makes deals with geralt, not the other way around. That is badass.
"Primitive"? lol wrong, he claims that Geralt feels confident like a rooster in his nest / henhouse and further that he may have won but will meet again. To understand the meaning of the many things you have to delve into the Polish legends and folklore on which the game is based.
He is the strongest person in the Witcher world. He cant be killed.
He is the Evil incarnate in Witcher.
more like 'being' than a person, but why would you wanted to kill a personification of evil when its harmless as a water, never have a pact with him and you do fine.
Eissa Sinéad That one professor never made a pact with him, and he still ruined his life
A woman was cursed for not giving him food. She should have helped someone who she thought was just a begger, but to suffer over one hundred years for it? Naw.
Nahtee sure... if someone is homeless and hungry do not help him. Kick him out. It makes you a pretty good person.
If you are the kinda person who is unable to drop 1 fucking dollar for someone who is hungry, than you deserve not to be cursed but to die by hunger.
I am not talking about ppl who ask for money for food than spend it on alcohol etc. But actualy HOMELESS ppl.
But just from reading your comment i can see that u would never help anyone you dont know or look like a “beggar”, but you would be the first to cry when noone is helping you.
You have great logic, is somebody is on the ground already than kick him once more or leave him to die👏🏻
His last line always gives me chills! It sounds so demonic even if you know it's just a different language.
It all sounds like some unholy blackspeech but after translating it's just the pathetic barking of a sore loser... They should have made him say something meaningful if the goal was to be intimidating.
gaunter o'dimm, unseen elder...makes me wonder if we need a better chosen one as the next playable character in witcher verse
Eissa Cozorav speaking of, Gaunter O'Dimm vs The Unseen Elder?
Carlos Farina
Gaunter o'dimm, time stop; end of conversation.
though i would be always like to see him return as a social boss battle (yeah like deus ex perhaps) that future protagonist would eccounter. His time stop is OP probably because our protagonist, geralt doesnt have knowledge to understand time magic, or complex magic in general. If we get ciri playable in future, i imagine the fight would similiar to Corvo vs daud in dishonored
i always thinking vampire and its higher one as like incorporeal being that manifested their physical form with a degree of success. Hence the inability to kill a higher vampire, its because we dont actually kill their inner, true energy. unseen elder probably has his way to manipulate the timeline that flow into our world , while stil acting normal in his own separate dimension.
Wat, Gaunter o'dimm is just too OP for that shit, he can't possibly be a boss being that strong, it wouldn't make sense in the witcher universe.
He plays a game with the world, he enjoys a "fair" win.
Well, technically Ciri is everything Geralt is, plus godlike powers of the Elder Blood or whatever it was called.
You might practically say she is female Neo, and Geralt is Morpheus.
In fact, she could potentially defeat the Unseen Elder. Geralt may have inhuman reflexes, but he still moves as a material being. To counter the Elder's teleportation and displacement - you need nothing short of Ciri's blink.
On top of that, Ciri's inter-dimensional traveling capabilities are akin to Gaunter. I mean, he went to Dark Souls' world to get the Caretaker, no?. She may not be able to fight him, as she still doesn't quite control the time and everything, but she definitely should be able to at least escape.
Since it's almost guaranteed that Ciri is the next protagonist, what you should be concerned with - is not the new "chosen one". It's who she will face. Can you really top off Gaunter and Unseen Elder?
If anyone is still curious, his last line is in Ossetian, and yes, this is correct translation.
"Mæn amæræn næj. Acæudzynæn, fælæ fæstæmæ azdæxdzynæn".
thank you for the insight! much appreciated
And in which part of the world Ossetian is spoke? After hearing Gaunter talking this mixed/weird lenguage gave me the creeps.
well it is know the devil knows and speaks all the languages so its yet another reference that O'Dimm is the Devil.

I fucking love characters like this that are insanely powerful but can be outsmarted
That's assuming he is being outsmarted - perhaps he is not allowed to interfere with destiny beyond certain point. We've seen him operate outside of time - wouldn't he collect every soul in the world if he could and that'd be his only goal?
@@MartinzW I don't think collecting souls is the point. Certainly not any random ones. Do notice he seems to only go after people that are already at least highly questionable on the moral scale. Not only that, even when he does, not everyone gets to sell their soul to him. The woman who turned him away instead of sharing food was simply punished horrifically. He seems more interested in causing suffering than the souls themselves. Not just any suffering though, it needs to come from within the person him/herself. Recall how he specifically took the time to show up at the wedding reception just to make Olgierd's brother miserable, by having him realize that Olgierd didn't care about him and held his shortcomings in contempt - there was no other purpose for him being there, since at that point everything was going according to plan and he knew he wouldn't be interacting with Geralt, who was possesed. This perspective seems to conflict with the next scene - where he encouraged Geralt to get close to Shani. However, it actually doesn't. He knew that if Geralt got attached to her (again) it would only end up causing him pain, as she didn't intend on staying or trying for a relationship again (something Geralt didn't know).
The whole business with Olgierd also seems calculated to make him suffer as much as possible. Along with immortality, he gives him a "heart of stone", which ends up causing him to lose everything dear to him, by his own hands. Notice that before he finalizes the contract, he lifts this curse from Olgierd, so that the poor S.O.B. can feel all that anguish. The soul seems like just a trophy at this point. That's probably the reason he agreed to Geralt's challenge - his real work was done anyway, why not stake one trophy for two, both linked to the same triumph? He ends up annoyed at losing but doesn't really seem very defeated. After all, it was only a couple of trinkets.
I think he's a similar existence to the Him (which coincidentally, is a demon), but besides being far more powerful, he is a lot more direct. The Him fed on guilt and the resulting anguish but could only wait for a suitable host to appear. O'Dim makes his own lunch, mostly by meddling in people's lives, so that they suffer due to their own actions (at least, that's how they perceive it) and sometimes by being an asshole genie - as much as he protests by claiming "I only grant their whishes, it's their own fault everything goes to shit", it's not really like that. Olgierd asked for eternal life for him and his wife and while that may turn a man into a thrill seeker, his affliction went deeper than that. He literally lost the ability to care about anything and anyone. That was not part of his whish, but it was a crucial element of the whole affair, without it things probably wouldn't ever come close to how o'Dim wanted them. The professor is also a good example: after being spooked by what he found out about o'Dim, he started searching for protective rituals, wanting to feel safe. What he got was a cage. It's very likely that the sigils had no real effect, the point was to psychologically torture him with his own fear and anxiety at the idea stepping outside. When all was said and done, he was made to cross the circle and die. This is also played out so that there would be guilt - the professor would see it as his own fault, since he should have tried harder to stay in safety and Geralt would see it as his, he did make the building unstable, after all (he could probably recognize the obvious presence of supernatural forces during his conversation, since he was ready to snap into action, but the though would still nag at him regardless).
O' Dimm? Pfff.
Real witchers know that the true end game boss is gravity.
Gaunter spoke both Georgian and Oseetian.
The way he even steps back in the darkness before falling creeps me out even more. It's a signal that physics don't matter and that nothing matters to him, becouse he does whatever he wants anyway and gets whatever he wants... some way or another.
Cant wait for gaunter's cameo in cyberpunk 2077

I strongly believe that if in a future Witcher game Geralt dies, his death will have something to do with O'Dimm. Maybe he'll be watching from somewhere when Geralt breathes his last breath.
I know this video is old, but god I love all the things they implicated with this DLC. If there ever is a continuation to the Witcher series CPDR gave themselves a completely new aspect for any follow-ups. The things Gaunter says make you really wonder how it all works, the whole dimension he's from. feels like the writers already have a detailed outline of what they'd have in mind. For example, "I cannot be killed, I will return." That implies that he somehow was killed, so maybe by losing a wager in whatever plane existence Gaunter comes from, due to how inconsequential death is for beings farther up the pecking order, you just get a little death-time-out. It's just bone-chilling yet enthralling at the same time that Gaunter pretty much says, at the moment of death, in laymen terms "You didn't do a thing. You're just an insignificant speck. Well I'm off to my vacation in purgatory, see ya, Gera- *GRUAAAAUGGGHHHH* "
0:34 - 0:38 actually spoken in Georgian. Try translating in google and listen: შენ გგონია მომიგე? არა, ცდები.
The style O'Dimms theme is played in this scene (where Geralt runs to the well to look into the "mirror") reminds me of the mysterious Battlestar Galactica music (Kara remembers). I kinda get the same feel too. Music in this game is incredibly good.
We know that he can kill at a whim and doesn't appear to be bound to any form of cosmic rules or constraints, what I wonder is if he is banished in the end because it's the price he pays for his own power, to be banished if he looses his own game, or if he simply lets himself be banished to sow the illusion of his own defeat
New theory: His initials spell GoD, but he is nothing close to anything holy. He's seen as the devil, but he speaks in details. He's the embodiment of the phrase "the devil is in the details". He grants your wish but not your desire.
Also, back to his initials, his is associated with mirrors and glass and is seen as the devil, suppose hes the Devil of Glass...
> He grants your wish but not your desire.
It's the same. Wish is Germanic word, desire is Latin. They mean the same.
Witcher 4 should have Gaunter O'Dimm as the main villain. Much better than Eredin.
Would get boring
I agree it wouldnt be boring but having references and mistery around this guy feels much better. Some things just shouldn't be touched also I don't really know how would Geral have a boss fight with him. It would prob depend on some item Geralt would obtain to actually be able to fight this guy which really goes in the oposite way of what cdpr is trying to achieve with Geralt. It feels just so amazing to defeat King of the Wild or higher vampire with just the good ol witcher gear and bunch of potions and stuff. But it doesn't feel like it is impossible like Geralt alone couldn't do it without any op weapon or weaker versions of the bosses they are at full strength and Geralt fuck them up with O'Dimm it would def feel like he had no business even face that guy in a fight
@@galax12370 nah... I rather wanna keep him be, beat him and then what, end, like many others boring story in which the mc does the impossible, too much of those

when he started speaking in georgian i creeped tf out😆 for a second i thought that he was real really playing with me, then i understood what was happening and laughed. but oh man, that was very odd and weird experience.
So is o'Dimm the classical Devil or not?
Essentially yes. The implication is that he is every single devil figure throughout human history rolled into one, because nearly every culture makes reference to a Satan/Devil figure, hence why the professor says he’s known by many different names throughout history, but always as evil incarnate.
Interesting. THey say Gaunter is allmighty, yet he was banished by Geralt. So there are rules for him to follow.
Of course, he isnt omnipotent
Rules he chooses to follow, because cheating would take the satisfaction out of his personal game.
@@gavir4379 its not claimed that he choose it, maybe there are real limitations to his power
I believe he is one of the beings outside the time and space. Don't think he's the only one (i.e. god) or if he is then this is one of his faces. As such he potentially is part of the ones behind how their world came to be - much like a lot of folklore around our world, different deities have different roles. It would make sense he has to follow certain rules for his role and that he is only half invested because everything is trivial from where he stands. He is playful and keeps himself entertained while on duty for his role.
Duty likely being related to observing on-goings and interfering only when it has to happen. What are conditions for interfering we don't know and it's clear O'Dimm won't succeed interfering beyond what is allowed. There's no way he could win against Geralt after having to guide him at certain times but O'Dimm is playful and likes things his way so he accepted the challenge - he knew he will lose. Mocking Geralt in Georgian language shows his frustration that his hands are tied - and perhaps Geralt can't know that he is going to return because it interferes with grand scheme.
If Geralt was not important in grand scheme of things, O'Dimm could win. We saw O'Dimm inserting a spoon in someone's head - the guy to whom he did it likely is unimportant in the grand scheme or perhaps already sold his soul to devil so was just collected at the same time.
What encouraged this idea but is not canon - in Blood Origin series, the story collector that stops time seems to be the same kind of being as O'Dimm. Now Blood Origin was not canon however it depends on who pitched the idea of her. Perhaps we will see other beings like O'Dimm in future.
"You are insignificant. You think you've defeated me but you are wrong. I can't be killed, I will be back."
When you compare the King of the Wild Hunt to Master Mirror or to the Higher Vampires in Blood and Wine, the King of the Wild Hunt seems like s little bitch in comparison. I mean Master Mirror was defeated, but not killed. Higher Vampires can only be killed by another Higher Vampire. Yet The King of the Wild Hunt was killed by a Witcher. The people fear the Wild Hunt more than the Demon or the real Monsters. Then again it was mostly about the Wild Hunt chasing Ciri. Either way, in the end The Witcher 3 will always be a 100/10 to me. One of my favorite games ever.
i think it fell into the gaming trope of having to one up the bad guy each time, while the wild hunt might have been defeated by witchers they are probably still just as scary to everyone else. Perhaps even more so than o dimm who comes across as a regular person
Gaunter is the man of mirrors, because he is our reflection. If we are evil, he gives us evil in return.
He is also evil to nice people. He is the devil.
You forgot to translate what GRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH Means
Sweet Jesus.....he....he....HES BILL CIPHER!!!!!
Who tf is Bill Cipher?
(Insert name here) Cipher has been used as a Lucifer pseudonym in a fair number of shows, so that's be my guess.
Kargath Bladefist (WoD) Crossed my mind too.But Bill is madness and evil.Gaunter is Evil straight out of the darkness
Shen ggonia momige, ara cdebi.
შენ გგონია მომიგეე?
არაა. სცდებიი
I think Gaunter is definitely the perfect opportunity for the main villain for the 4th installment
A perfect vilain for witcher 4
Actually, the first thing he said was:
"You are a rooster, and a rooster is only king atop his pile of mannure.
I believe "you are primitive" is wrong
cabritinhodela it's the same meaning but language is different so as the adioms
@@jlmoodhd7415 It's too rough of a translation. The idiom makes sense in English, so why not use the literal translation?
Gaunter O' Dimm was literally one of the best antagonists in video game history, manipulative, powerful, hes literally the devil, so yeah.
it felt amazing to outsmart this jerk geralt is the man caz he never underestimate any of his opponents
you never outsmarted him, geralt was giving the answer to the riddle without u having to work for it, hell even at the beginning there was the quest name " mirror ..... " it surely wasnt hard to figure out.
It would be dope if we could play as Gaunter O'Dimm in the next game within the Witcher Universe, we could just run around messing with people, taking souls.
That’s a stupid idea
@@nol75 i agree it would be extremely boring
That'd be DOPE
Gaunter o dimm is my favorite chracter in the whole game i feel like when he returns he will avoid gearlt
He is powerfull i think i saw in some video he can safe you from elder unseen vampire
I didn't fight O'Dimm, I like my characters to have a few Badasses they wouldn't fuck with, and O'Dimm is Getalt's.
no complaint, if it was a straight fight Geralt would be screwed
@@Ruddy_Games Something constrains O'Dimm though. When Gerald says he loses, it's as if something is compelling him to leave and be banished.
So Geralt defeated Gaunter, but he will return and what was it that Davy Jones said?
'You can't best the devil twice'
I read your description. Nice use of “Lady of the Worlds”. One of the best Gavin made for the Witcher 3.
Thanks. I like to give credit where its due. Also a big fan of gav, his witcher songs are amazing
Yeah sorry Olgierd, I’m not pissing off a guy that could easily kill geralt in under a second
I was very surprised when one at the end O Dim spoke in my native language))
Maybe it's best to let odimm take olgeirds soul. Because if you save olgeird there's basically a 100% chance geralt will be attacked by odimm when he returns and not even geralt can save himself from odimms wrath.
So did you not watch the ending
10 bucks next witchers antagonist is gonna be him
Witcher 4 is announced soooo you know what that means… 👀
I dunno if that means that there will another witcher game with him in it, but if something like that happens and we actually see O'Dimm as one of the main antagonists, it's going to be awesome!
I have no doubt if CD makes another Witcher game ( which they may have no choice in order to save their name/ reputation after Cyberpunk) that they will bring back Master Mirror.
could he be back in witcher 4?
Geralt is a little sissy compared to O Dimm, even Detlaf is a sissy. It would be epic, if O Dimm returned in the next witcher game
The comparisons to O Dimm are pointless as he is pure evil.
Knight King it's a matter of perspective really.
EVERYONE is a sissy compared to O'Dimm.
Geralt, Eredin, Detlaf, Ciri... god, even the fucking Unseen Elder would have trouble with this dude.
Three tongues, damming route anagram name, chrono and ontokinesis, name and true form able to induce madness and death, deals which entice the mortal to sinful ways which inevitably leads to their deaths.. this being is samael.. the angel of death. Everything he does or uses his power on has an aspect of death to it.
The deal which was designed to evade paying makes the guy immortal until the contract is paid for.
In this life, I worship only one G.O.D
In blood and wine the woman who cursed because she didn't gave the beggar food .
There's a paper written on it: the beggar says he sells mirror.
Do you think he's o'dimm?
შენ გგონია მომიგე?არა სცდები.
Geralt should have said - ჩქარა,ნახუი ქენი.
ara es unda etqva
@@sn4ke16 LOL
witcher 4 and main antagonist should be O'Dimm...i think it would be epic
Well at least G.O.D. took it like a champ instead of stopping time or cheating Geralt's victory in any way.
SVGLNR he broke mirrors when geralt had legitimately solved his riddle, that's cheating
Kushagra Shukla not exactly the answer was reflection not mirror sooo
If there's no risk of losing, then why play at all?
No the first sentence is french créole, that significate "Tu es un coq, et le coq et le roi sur son tas de fumier" "Y'our a cock (animals) and the cock is the king of the farm" So I think that significate Geralt is strong for the human, but demons are more strong
or he just meant that geralt is a dick lmao
Gaunter O'dimm did nothing wrong
I hope he is gonna return in the witcher 4
Gaunter O'Dim - the best pure evil villian in the history of books, games and films.
100%, never have i been intrigued so much by a villian, everything from his voice to his music was just perfect
@@Ruddy_Games why do u see him as a villain? he is clearly not ... olgierd is the villain. O'dimm is more like a quest giver and spectator/moderator of the story.
tell me 1 thing he did to be classified as a villain, he killed 1 person that stalked and studied him aight i get that... but he has emotions too.
he even accepts the loss if u beat him even though he Could cheat and just kill Geralt
@@SenkoVT I mean he put a spoon through a guys eye for no reason lol. His a villain but a fair one. He is essentially the devil himself. He prays on the weakness of men and steals their souls. Likewise showing up when geralt had no choice but to accept his terms. He has a code that he follows yes, but there's no doubt his evil. If geralt hadn't beaten his riddle no doubt he would have taken his soul. As his song states '' he will snare you in bonds eyes glowing of fire. To gore and torment you until the stars expire'' His one of those exceptional villains in that you can side with him a bit because his fair. But his a trickster and will likely get you. Like with taking olegirds soul but only on the moon. Maybe his not the villain of the story per say. But there's no doubting his evil. But olegrid also does questionable stuff for sure
@@Ruddy_Games nah i wouldnt say so, gaunter has so much power and barely uses it. Olgierd granted immortality and hes a massive dick.
Just remember ur playthrough as geralt and how many ppl u killed for ur believes or due to emotions..
In the world of witcher / middle-age killing a person is not that big of a deal.
With that logic many characters would be villains.
Hes collecting evil souls, if that makes him good or bad is up for debate imo
@@SenkoVT I think the reason he doesn't use his powers is because it's boring. Yeah he can freeze time and easily kill everyone in the room. But he likes to torment and tease his prey. He enjoys out smarting people, his essentially the devil. I also think his bound by his contracts. Which is why he disappears after geralt outsmarts him. But anyway we can agree to disagree. I just hope he returns because his one of my favourite video game characters ever. Also the fact he is genuinley all powerful and doesn't have a straight up fight with geralt makes him even more Intriguing
In reality he said: "Ach wie gut das niemand weiß, dass ich Rumpelstilzchen heiß."
Awesome dude! I made a pact.
+MB-Gamer be aware that if you ever leave my channel you now owe me your soul ;)
+R1 Gaming Oh man, I'm gonna call Geralt to ban you!!!
+MB-Gamer as you can see from the video i cannot be killed and i will be back :D
+R1 Gaming Nevermind, you are awesome which means that I will never have to leave your channel. Keep doing what you are doing!
My pact would be that he can't take my soul until 1)I become a "literal" God. 2)I rule every planet in the Universe. 3)Until I can take other people's souls. Now note one. That buys me possibly thousands of years to live depending on the technology and magic used. Now note two. That buys me millions of years, why? Dude our galaxy alone has like 3 BILLION planets. Most important however is three. If by some unbelievable chance Master Mirror makes the last two happen. I'll still be able to live on by taking another persons soul!!! Check, check, AND CHECK!!! I win Master.
Why don't you have a translation for Gggrrrraaaaaggghhhhhaaaarrrr!
Unsubscribing
Did you translate this with a demonic language to English dictionary?
Yeah the 1984 edition
yeah oxfords demonic dictionary, its in the restricted section of the library
The first Line is in french creole that is spoken in Guadeloupe, Martinique and Haïti. Took me 7 years to catch that, this game is beyond wonderful.
