Love the power, torque, smoothness of that inline6. Driving dynamics is superb for its size. The rwd bias is fun to drive on the twisties. Definitely a top choice compare to similar price subaru evoltis and hyundai palasade

Third Row Seats are always made for kids, always. Car reviewers like giving the impression that car companies don’t design the 3rd row well, it’s disingenuous. My advice, hire a kid for the 3rd row, that would be a fair review.

I replace those Toyos with Michelin Primacy SUV+. Now my CX5 drives more like a luxurious SUV, quiet and refine ride. A little sacrifice on the sharp steering. Just a little.

The smoothness of gas engine specially this inline6 is second to none. With its 450nm of torque pulling power feels like driving a diesel engine but with added gorgeous sound.

Here in the Philippines car reviews are mainly those of cheaper cars. Go above ₱2 million and the reviews thin out rapidly. Good luck finding test drives of cars from Mercedes Benz or BMW, and if you find those, usually it's just a showroom tour of the car. So it's good to see that Auto Industriya was able to take this CX-90 out for a spin. Yeah it's not a Mercedes but it's quite expensive, at the level of a C-class already in terms of pricing.

I dunno the different trims there in the Philippines but here in North America it can be configured to 6/7/8 seats. The top trim only goes with 6/7 but for the mid trims like the Select/Preffered trims u can choose between a bench seat or captain chairs

Yup it's firmer than what we expected. We think they could do with more fine tuning in the suspension department.
The brand wanted a luxury SUV, but the engineers wanted to create a driver's car. They can achieve both if they went with a variable suspension set up.

The car has been awesome for the past months only issue is jolty shifting from 10-20kph as per mazda a software update will fix this but no update on when they will update this. For a 3m plus car its a deal breaker. Power is amazing though but if you want comfort get a palisade. Before you buy test drive, the jolty shifting takes some time to get used to.

Don't call not having an ottoman is a compromise.
Mazda buyers buys a mazda tor it's driving dynamics, not to seat behind and be driven by somebody else.
Your logic of having a driver to drive you around is only applicable in the Philippines and other 3rd world countries. The CX90 was designed specifically for the North American market. CX80 for the European. Either way, it the best you could afford in the US is 1 or 2 CX90, you can't afford to have a personal driver in the US. The average salary of a driver in the PH is 15-25,000 PHP per month, the average salary of a driver in the US is around P180,000/month. Having the amenities of the likes of an alphard is not the market that this was designed for.

The way you review the cx90 is like comparing to a alphard when it comes to space. It’s not a full size SUV. Trying to fit in a 3rd you with your size and blame the design is not fair. You are being picky in an unreasonable way. And the aim of mazda when it comes to handle is the balance of luxury and sportiness when it comes to riding to have connections to the road to feel the performance of inline 6. Magic carpet ride for that price? Try a maybach. Very bad review from your side.
