Maybe not the 12, but a renewed 13 pro would be a fantastic upgrade from the 11 or 12. I upgraded from a 14 pro max to a 15 pro max and now I truly see why it's best to hold on to phones for a few years before upgrading.

I bought an iPad Pro 2018 from Amazon renewed in 2020. It came in immaculate condition and I checked the battery health/capacity and it was at 100%. It’s still working well three years later.
I personally would aim for the iPhone 13 if it doesn’t cost much more - better modems, better battery life, better cameras. Even the 14 has noticeably better cameras compared to the 13. Of course, the 15 blows the older non-Pro models out of the water - better cameras, dynamic island, USB-C and that frosted back - I saw the 15 and 15 plus in person in all the colors and it definitely looks and feels more premium than the older non-Pro models. By the way, the 12 Pro and Pro Max did not have 120 hz. pro motion.

I slowly been working my way through the iPhone's as they become affordable but with the 15 series and the introduction of USB type-c and the fact that I've already fully converted to USB type-c, I'm thinking of just skipping the rest and going from my iPhone 11 to an iPhone 15 or 15. Plus I'm leaning more towards the 15. Plus I'll probably wait till around Black Friday. See what type of deals we can get. But yeah You made some great points in this video. As a FYI, even though it will cost a few more dollars, you can buy a refurbished iPhone 12 from Apple directly and they will put a brand new battery in it before shipping and also give you a 1-year warranty.
That's not quite accurate. It isn't "a few more dollars", it's literally double the price. Not worth it, if you had the money to spend on a certified refurbished directly from apple then just for a few more dollars(actually meaning it) you could buy the current model.

Im not lying , I don’t see the difference ,lol. I constantly juggle between my 13 pro max (120hz) and my iPad mini 6(60hz) ,after I ditched the iPad Pro ,since is too heavy for using in my hand all the time. And I honestly don’t notice the difference ,lol.

Purchase it from Apple instead than anywhere else. Based on reviews I've read, the phone melts down after 90 days and some of the parts aren't even Apple, thus it doesn't work the way it should. Furthermore, the batter is typically around 75 rather than 80. Consequently, I would advise against purchasing it! However, I'm only trying to save you, so it's truly up to you.

The 13 Pro was the best iPhone made, imo. My Wife's 13 Pro has never seen below 65% to 70% battery in Sept 2023! That's a Killa phone! However, it does overheat or Thermals Out many times a month.

Still rocking with my 12mini. Needs a new battery at this point but otherwise I’m good. 12’s are definitely still holding up
