    Hello there!
My name is Fenna van den Berg, I am a certified coach and counselor. I have worked in the mental health field for over 25 years.
Having been through episodes of Limerence, I have "earned my stripes" to help others with their recovery. I understand the obsession and suffering of Limerence. My passion is being able to share with you, and all limerents, a guided-way forward on your journey of healing. We do this through discovering and practicing self-love and compassion. As someone who has suffered through limerence, I have developed effective coaching for people with limerence. My Coaching has helped countless have a more purposeful life, and I want to help you. We will work together, so that you may have a life more in line with your values and integrity.
Together, we are blossoming a community of friendly people with the same debilitating feelings and experiences of Limerence. Here, we share with, support, and nurture each other in giving love to ourselves, perhaps for the first time.
When you’re ready to end your pain and suffering from seeking the "Other," I’m here to guide you in recognizing your true lovable self, with compassionate teaching, counseling and also private coaching.
For my help, please contact me: fenna@followingfenna.com or on followingfenna.com
The phrase "you've picked the wrong person" comes from Alan Robarge, the best relationship educator out there.

The best thing about my current limerent episode: it helped me uncover my primary attachment trauma, and how I've spent years in isolated terror as a small child. I had no idea, but my limerence hurled my body way back into that era - and now I can't unsee it. Quite the price to pay to uncover this insight, but I'm grateful I know now (and that there is content about limerence in the first place - so glad I discovered the term and this channel)

I went through the same journey and even if it was the most painful time in my life I'm grateful because I found myself 🎉

I’ve had 3 limerent episodes back to back that have created have nearly ruined my life. Two of those people I dated, the other was a fitness instructor that I never spoke to at the gym. I am still having unwanted intrusive thoughts with no end in sight.

I am very glad that I have survived my limerent episode after I was nearly starving myself to death. My skin and my eyes were so bad from crying. Crying for years, several times, night and day. I totally lost myself. At the moment I am feeling very good cause I am far away from home and my LO is out of reach. I wished I could stay away from home. LO is still a dangerous drug.

Thank you Fenna ❤ After my father died and my marriage ended within a few months of each other, I fell into two limerent episodes. Like you’ve said, each lasted 3 months. Years later, I love myself and my life so much! I am so appreciative of your channel! I had no idea why I had acted so crazy. You’ve helped me eliminate the shame and guilt ❤

Great video, your words are solace for us in hard times.
I have experienced that narcissists know all about limerance and some actually intentionally stoke limerance to obtain powerful sadistic supply.

Do you think limerence is wake up call to take care of ourselves and souls? I was neglected as a child and I didn’t love myself enough. I was projecting all the love I wanted in life on one person my LO . It takes a lot of power to let go :( thank you Fenna

well any crisis is fertil soil for growth, healthier choices and reflection, so in that case yes. We also heal old wounds in a crisis, not only our own but also from earlier trauma running in our family history.

our battle in this world according to the Bible, is not against flesh and blood, but against demonic powers which do indeed lead to actually selling our souls to the devil. Read Ephesians chapter 6 on how to avoid getting sucked in!

I've heard that life is the C between the B and the D. C= choices we make B= birth D= death. May we learn to make healthy choice that put us in good places...

How hard is it to be so open and honest? As the SO of someone in limerence, it all strikes home just how destructive it is.

in adolescene we boys referred to some girls as being "boy crazy". Are females more susceptible to limerence?

    • @followingfenna

Good question, Not that I see in my work, I have as much male clients as female. We all attach as humans.

F are allowed to show more vulnerable emotions, other than m. But INSIDE the attachmentdrama is for every gender real. I saw my father 2y in bed while my parents divorved
