Talk about Train from Malaba-UG to Dar Es Salaam-TZ, mind you in 60s and 70s the East African Railway and Airline were active and Operating in 3 Countries Uganda, TZ and Kenya. But because of Selfishness and feeling-Self of Kenya's first president Jomo Kenyatta who wanted everything to be in Kenya something Nyerere Disagreed by calling it "nonsense", the then EAC had to Breakup followed by closing the Borders for a While so that everyone/country could deal with its own business. e.g. the Now Kenyan Airline was then East Africa Airline and since the Airline Head-quarter was in Kenya, the Airplanes remained in Kenya after the EAC Breakup, which was changed the name to Kenya Airways, although nowadays is a partnership company, means not owned 100% by the government of Kenya. In Tanzania we still remember that "loss and Selfishness' and we are not going to take that Chance again as Nyerere did with his Big Heart of trying the best to unite East Africa by sharing common infrastructures.

This is not the headquarters of Tanzania's SGR. This is the Dar es Salaam train station, which is the second largest station after Dodoma. The SGR headquarters is actually in Dodoma, and it is separate from the Dodoma train station. The Dodoma train station and the SGR headquarters are two distinct locations.
Simply because we (Tanzania)decided to focus on our progress/prosperity and development.. we leave bragging and providing fake statistics/Googlelopment 😁😅 (living in denial and past glory kwa social media) to Kenyans.
That place looks like Mombasa without the SGR and BRT. The streets are dusty, no modern buildings, slow paced life. It just looks stressful, cant compare that with the vibrant Nai..other than the bus stands, BRT and the SGR show us the inner estates lets compare them with our Karen, Muthaiga, Gigiri etc
Why compare by the way.... You must be stupid to compare Dar and Mombasa...... Dar has better Roads than Nairobi... Don't be fooled by Chinese expressway...
You dont know shiet about Dar es salaam ..so through the 10 minutes video you feel like you know the whole Dar es salaam... pumbavu kabisa ..tembea ujifunze ng'ombe wewe ... Dar is bigger in size (Mombasa and Nairobi combined)
