It was a blessing when the trip was finished in 14 hours and I arrived safely.

Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦 Well that's an eye opener! 😮 I'm considered "poor" in Canada but I've never seen such conditions in my life! 😮👉 I guess I don't have nearly as much to complain about as I had thought 🤷♂️ "Poverty" in Canada looks nothing like what these folks have to put up with 😮 In Canada, that train would be hauled to the scrap yard! 😮 And the owner / operators would be arrested for numerous safety and hygiene violations! 🚨 The other day I was kind of grumbling about the porcelain enamel being chipped away on a few spots inside my toilet bowl 😠👉🚽 But damn! At least my "toilet" isn't literally a hole in the floor! 😮 And at least I don't have to share it with hundreds of other people! 😮 I've just lost my "right" to complain about almost everything! 🤷♂️ Other than my health issues, most of my problems are "first world problems" 🙄

Many people in the USA, Europe, Canada and other developed countries take so much for granted. God bless Africa. We are a beautiful country with lots of resources and potentials, but our attitude needs to change so that we can improve our standards of living. It starts with me, with you and each person doing what is right for our development. Definitely, good leadership, good governance is so crucial. Some countries are going in the right direction. Majority are still far behind.

And the kid! Adorableeeeeeee 😍😍😍
One should try the train from Bukarest to Cluz (Romania) too! You can walk just next to it and step om board whenever you feel tired.
That was some journey 😂😂😂😂
Those old school trains are casted out, now we have standard gauge trains which are electric powed...😊😊
OMG..😱 Ben so Intersting your Journey 😍👌non stop laughing and so funny 😁😀😂 take care stay safe 👍 God bless you 🙏
Thanks 🙏🏼 😅🤣
I checked really good on those outside shots - the wheels on this train are actually round. I expected to see square wheels, mate! How is it possible for a train to be that bumpy???
I think you should wait for the standard gauge railway
Hahahaha
Very good experience, Ihope you have enjoyed your journey
Watching some ads for ya take care!
Legend! Thanks mate
Legend thanks mate !

Nothing I like more than watching people subjecting themselves to extreme discomfort! That train, OML! 🤣👍✌
P.S. New sub from Drew's channel, and the comment you made.
Welcome aboard! :)
Holy shit! 😂. A 27 hour massage for only $16 😂. I don't know how you do it bro! 😂. Freaking hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing 🤣🤣🤣😂

A trusty portable urinal, disposable sheets and a box of granola bars always a gem when traveling in Africa.
SGR electic train will start soon don’t worry. Maghufulication coming up to save you 👍🇹🇿
So I hear 🥲
I've never laughed so hard at any video. Love your comment.
OMG that train journey looks awful. I'm surprised it didn't come off the tracks with all the bumping and juddering. And you wouldn't of even thought it was during covid times watching the video. Not long discovered you through Bald and Bankrupt. Loads of videos to binge watch to catch up hehe :-) love what you do
Hey what did you think of bald and bankrupt? He is getting millions of views but I just couldnt get into him after binge watching indigo traveller and Kurt caz. I am enjoying Backpacker Ben though
A lot of buses and planes available there
But you choose the cheapest way and you got what you wanted Lol 😂😂😂
Plane was like $270 lol
Bus would of taken 13 years
🤣
@@BackpackerBen 😂😂😂
@@BackpackerBen welcome to Dar es salaam ..i expect more vids when you arrive in Dar .. Tanzanians we love you 😍😍
@@moviesclips5759 thank you :D
@@BackpackerBen with bus from dodoma is just 6 to 7 hrs
Wow, much respect! I thought Bald traveled rough. This is insane.
U sound frustrated in respectful way though !
This is Afrika! What did u expect first class for 16$ could look like?? 😊
Thnx 4 sharing anyway!
Very true 🥲
At least the train left. Here in Germany the DeutscheBahn does not. Gets cancelled very frequently.
Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
Well that's an eye opener! 😮 I'm considered "poor" in Canada but I've never seen such conditions in my life! 😮👉
I guess I don't have nearly as much to complain about as I had thought 🤷♂️ "Poverty" in Canada looks nothing like what these folks have to put up with 😮
In Canada, that train would be hauled to the scrap yard! 😮 And the owner / operators would be arrested for numerous safety and hygiene violations! 🚨
The other day I was kind of grumbling about the porcelain enamel being chipped away on a few spots inside my toilet bowl 😠👉🚽 But damn! At least my "toilet" isn't literally a hole in the floor! 😮 And at least I don't have to share it with hundreds of other people! 😮
I've just lost my "right" to complain about almost everything! 🤷♂️ Other than my health issues, most of my problems are "first world problems" 🙄
bravo Ben ,,, your the man ! Used to think Michael Palin sometimes toughed it out, but this is " beyond the call" when you get back, Spoonies ( the cheap pub ) will seem like The Savoy !!!!
Found this after you mentioned it in your Iraq theme park vid. Wow mate your are hardcore. Got a day off today so going to binge all your videos. Nice one.
Thanks Lauri 😎🤝 this is a tough video to watch 😂
I laughed so hard when you realised its only 15 min and you still have 26 hrs and 45 min to go😂
I died a little inside
😅 I felt that, that's a journey to remember.... It's a shame though how our trains are, hopefully we get started ASAP with the SGR
Just rewatched this and I’m in absolute stitches
Daaa yani anatuvua nguo na mi treni yetu ya kigoma ila yatakwisha tu
