As to the pontoon boat, it's a great design for an inland lake. Crazy to use it on an ocean.
The Seadoo Switch, I like it, fun little LAKE boat. Thise boys probably thought it was fun and games until dad sees your video. Boat looks like it handled it well enough, more or less.

Where do you escape to? With a full load of fuel just get out away from the coast and keep the nose into the wind? I would hate to be in a situation like that. If anybody has any idea what these people in their boats will do, I’d appreciate hearing it. Thanks 👍🏻
Mostly that's all they need to do. In this case, out and south. This storm is heading northwest. The big boats, that can handle the weather, are much safer at sea out of the way as much as possible. This is why the navy sorties from port in these cases. Not real fun, I have skirted 3 typhoons during my navy years. Luckily, I don't get seasick.
@@markshutt1476 Very interesting. Thank you for responding. All I have ever dealt with is boating on an Idaho high Mountain lake. Owned Inboard runabouts of 17 to 21 foot and a Boston Montauk. We always had docks that were barely able to put up with an occasional storm. Even that was nerve wracking. I love watching the videos on this channel and I often wonder if I could make it out and back in my 17 foot Montauk. I think a guy would be way better off in a larger boat either Inboard or something with more than one outboard. Thanks again sir
