      I have no doubt she’s able to get exactly the usage reported using her techniques. Unfortunately, mileage may vary, as they say in the car ads. There are so many other variables at play, many of which cannot be remedied with the best care in application. Your natural nail bed shape is the biggest determining factor in longevity.
      The flatter the natural nail bed, the less adhesion capable. You need contact before glue can stick. Flat nails eliminate any possibility of press on type nail.
      This still leaves the option of the stick on gel Polish. IMO these are the most wasteful options. For the same price, you can go to a nail tech. You can get a full set of artificial nails or a really professional manicure.

      @@MichiaMakes I have very flat nail beds and while using glue is never going to happen, adhesive tabs however have been lasting on my nails really well. Glue I can't even get an hours wear, but tabs I managed almost 2 weeks and could have gone longer but I got bored and wanted change.

    i still use glue with the press on nails. I also use a battery powered file and I clean the nails up with rubbing alcohol before application. It really helps extend the life of your manicure no matter which type of nails you decide to go with.

    I'm a ride or die with both Kiss and Impress (which is actually owned by Kiss which is why they're both so popular). I've had some sets for both brands that have lasted over three weeks (one set lasted that long with me going swimming multiple times!!). Some sets from both brands last better than others so it's inconsistent sometimes, but I normally just re-glue any that fall off before im ready to take them off. I also sometimes use a gel base coat or a builder base on my natural nails to protect them from the glue.

    The more transparent nails can be polished! I dont think youre suppised to wear them plain, anyway. The polish lasts for the whole time you wear the nails. Its easier to go with precolored nails, but if you can't find the color you like or just want to use up your polish colors, you can use those plain nails for that.

    • @torey4322
      @torey4322 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think she means the transparent nails that have designs on them. Like the Kiss Gel Fantasy Sculpted Jelly Nails in the color Fun & Jelly. Some of those nails are transparent but they have a design on them.

    • @kathleenstoin671
      @kathleenstoin671 ปีที่แล้ว

      @torey4322 It's possible she meant the ones with designs, but there are also some plain nails that are quite translucent. In any case, the glue on nails that are just a solid color or even the translucent ones with designs can be polished with good results if the nails are smooth. Someone else mentioned Kiss Bare, which are somewhat translucent. I like those because I can choose my polish color to suit myself. The polish sticks very well on these nails without chipping.
      But I was actually commenting on a question asked by someone in the comments regarding those plain nails. I looked for that question/comment, but I couldn't find it again. Maybe the person deleted it.

Clean up your cuticle, use rubbing alcohol to wipe off your natural nails, and use a clear base coat before applying the glue. Also use a bit of almond cuticle oil to help make sure your cuticles don't dry out and look harsh.

    Hey! Found your channel after doing some research on glamnetics nail fit. Wanted to see if someone agreed about the small sizing, which you did!

    I've been wearing nails for literally over 30 years. I used to do my own tips/acrylic, buying professional supplies at the beauty supply. I switched to press ons when I was so busy with my kids I couldn't spare the time or give up the sleep to do acrylic. Honestly, I don't find the brand or type of nails affect my longevity or appearance of nails. A good prep, including prepping the nails themselves, and quality glue are what make the difference for me. I make sure I wash, thoroughly dry my hands and not have to do anything requiring me to put my hands in water for at least 3 hours after I do them. I use a dehydrator, file old glue off, trim nails and cuticles, use a block to file more making sure there's no shine. Size the nails to my fingers, do any bit of coarse filing to ensure fit. I cut the little file that comes with nails to fit the underside of false nails and file the shine off, then wipe them off with alcohol. Use acetone on my nail beds and use the best glue I can find. then rose cuticle oil just on cuticles. Mine last almost 3 weeks. Btw the nails there selling on FB now for $9.99-21.00 are the exact same nails sold on SHEIN n TEMU for $0.75-3.00, most being about $1.50. Don't fall for it. I buy SHEIN and TEMU nails and I love them.

      I purchased CurvLife after seeing a video. 100% do not recommend. The glue is garbage. Like literally just threw my money away. The directions were in Chinese, and I couldn't get it to hold even for a second to "cure" like the video says. Don't waste your money.

    Impress actually last long however the instructions are lacking at best and don’t actually give you proper instructions on how to prep your nails for longest wear. You need to keep your nail similar in length to the press on, buff the top of the nails, dry the nails out, also apply the nails when you won’t be doing anything with your hands so it can adhere to your nails for a few hours.

    • @KaytchC1790
      @KaytchC1790 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely agree with this. The instructions are not thorough enough. And also, clearly as a company, including one alcohol wipe and one mini orange stick is financially best… but it’s not enough.
      I push back and dissolve excess cuticles, dry out my nails with running alcohol, buff my nails a little to get some grit on them, and *then apply them.
      They last 1-2 weeks usually.

    Hands down Kiss glue on and Impress are the best nails for price, fit and look. That's my opinion. Been using them for 3 years. Impress last 3 weeks and I usually get tired of the color and have to gently soak them off. Kiss glue on last 11 days like clock work. Lets face it for color, patterns, glue or impress you can file any of them to get the fit you want. And for price nyou can't beat Kiss or Impress. You did not do Dashing Diva press on nails? Maybe next time you can do them.

    First of all, why was the Static Nail review 2 months long and a little over 3 minutes long in the review (2:10 - 5:30) ? And all the other reviews were 20 seconds with no daily or monthly updates? Chill tips was literally like 20 seconds (5:30 - 5:49). If you’re going to review by date, please be consistent. We got no updates of when the 2 nails started chipping. Second of all - Press On Nails and Nail Stickers like Dashing Diva etc should be done in COMPLETELY separate videos. There are enough companies in both categories to do two great separate reviews. Lastly, when comparing, please be consistent with your lighting and angles. Show us different products using the same background and lighting so we can really compare each product. The Ranking portion of your video was confusing. There were too many things going on for example you would talk about one product but would still have a different product on screen. That along with different graphics and voice over were just too much going on to understand your ranking points. Use visuals to ENHANCE your point. Don’t just wave your hands in front of the camera. The nails you liked the BEST had the LEAST screen time. Don't you find that interesting?...Otherwise, I LOVE your aesthetic, and how detailed you CAN get, but you just need to be more consistent and clear. Take your time and be clear. This will really help your audience make good decisions when going out to purchase products. Also, your video graphics and intro are AMAZING. That is initially what drew me in.

    • @MissSarahEK
      @MissSarahEK  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s for all of your feedback 😊. I filmed this video over almost a year of time, so I wasn’t as with consistent with filming the exact same thing which each set of nails as I would have liked. Unfortunately I lost one of my memory cards during in the filming process and lost some of the intermediate footage, which I was disappointed about. I also wanted to avoid this video getting too long, which people tend to complain about as well. Anyways I appreciate the detailed feedback! I’ll try to keep this is mind.
      I’ll send the intro compliments to my editor ☺️

      I probably won’t do a new take since this was filmed over a year long period, but I appreciate you watching and your comment ☺️. I definitely see what you are saying since this video has more cuts than I normally do. That was mainly because over the time I filmed this I tended to repeat myself, so I chose to do some choppier cuts so the video wouldn’t be really long and repetitive.
