These docs are idiots! I'll always believe what well researched Lee, Kent Carnivore, has to say! Yep, I went to medical school and residency, 4 years each, and carnivore has saved my life! Middle Tennessee Rita ❤
Yes Lee, you‘re absolutely right!! Anyone who has gone ketogenic realizes how sustainable it is. Newborn babies run on ketones, are fat burners. And so many keto fans have moved on the ketovore and carnivore, with even more health benefits. So much healing power, no more meds, no „sickcare-providers“ needed. OMG what would we do without them 🤣
I have two memories of my nieces when they were just little children. One niece, when given a burger would pull out the patty and eat it and get rid of the other stuff. My other niece once was seated near a stick of butter that was just opened and on the table. She picked it up and started taking small bites and eating it as if it was a candy bar. When my sister realized what she was doing she was horrified and removed the stick right away saying no! No! Then offered her the plate with cut up fruit. My niece started fussing and crying begging for the butter. They were carnivore at a very young age 😁

Kent, you know what's funny? Us "stupid" carnivores know that eating red meat is healthy, because we can actually explain the nutrients and anti-nutrients of each food that makes it either healthy or unhealthy. On the other hand, those "very intelligent" vegetarians/vegans think that eating red meat is bad for you and vegetables are good for you, yet they can't explain why other than things like "it gives you cancer" or "it's just good for you". Really shows who's eating the proper human diet and who isn't.
I love how the "they only lived til 32" argument never takes into account that that is the AVERAGE. The reason this matters is because of high infant mortality rates. A lot harder for fragile human infant to survive in those times. We evolved to come out of the womb less developed than other species due to the size of the human head in relation to its body at the stages of development. We come into the world more fragile than other creatures, hence lots of them don't make it. A great example of the constant skewing of data to try to prove a point. People weren't dropping dead at 32. Ludicrous.
That's very true. Skeletons don't come with the age of their owner printed on them anywhere. Humans are not like trees, where you can count the rings. Scientists guess, based on norms and standards, and ALL of those norms and standards are based on modern, post-agriculture skeletons, since those are the only people whose exact age at death can be known, and even then, only since birth certificates became a thing. We have no idea if modern grain-eaters' skeletons show age in the same way as ancient megafauna-eaters' skeletons. Just on the surface of it, it would be a pretty safe bet that they don't. Those ancient mammoth hunters could have been dying at 400 years old, but just been as healthy as 35 year olds when they did it. I'm not saying that's what happened, I'm just saying we would have no idea if that had happened. A huge part of scientific rigor and honesty is acknowledging what you can't know.
The life expectancy was definitely not high in those days.....but it wasn't due to the food intake. I think having to spear an animal in a charging heard, dealing with sabertooth tigers, woolly mammoths, competing tribes, exposure to the elements and diseases had much more to do with low life expectancy.
Next weak they will find a cave with cave paintings of people spearing fruit vegetables and home grown beef. They just waiting for the old paint to dry. Here’s a list of common plant antinutrients, ordered roughly by their potential to inhibit nutrient absorption: 1. Phytates (Phytic Acid) Effectiveness: High Nutrients Affected: Iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium Sources: Grains, legumes, seeds, and nuts Mechanism: Binds to minerals, making them less bioavailable. Can be reduced through soaking, sprouting, or fermenting foods. 2. Oxalates (Oxalic Acid) Effectiveness: High Nutrients Affected: Calcium, magnesium, iron Sources: Spinach, rhubarb, beets, nuts, chocolate Mechanism: Forms insoluble complexes with calcium, reducing its absorption. Cooking can reduce oxalate content. 3. Lectins Effectiveness: Moderate to high Nutrients Affected: Protein, iron, calcium, zinc Sources: Beans, legumes, whole grains, nightshade vegetables Mechanism: Bind to cell membranes, potentially interfering with nutrient absorption and digestion. Cooking and soaking can reduce lectin levels. 4. Tannins Effectiveness: Moderate Nutrients Affected: Iron (non-heme) Sources: Tea, coffee, legumes, grapes, berries, pomegranates Mechanism: Bind to non-heme iron, reducing its absorption. Cooking or fermentation can reduce tannin content. 5. Saponins Effectiveness: Moderate Nutrients Affected: Protein, fat-soluble vitamins Sources: Legumes (especially soybeans), quinoa, and other beans Mechanism: Can interfere with protein digestion and reduce absorption of some nutrients. Rinsing and cooking reduce saponins. 6. Protease Inhibitors Effectiveness: Moderate Nutrients Affected: Protein Sources: Legumes (soybeans, kidney beans), seeds Mechanism: Inhibit protease enzymes that break down proteins, reducing protein absorption. Heat treatment reduces their activity. 7. Goitrogens Effectiveness: Low to moderate Nutrients Affected: Iodine Sources: Cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, kale, cabbage), soy Mechanism: Interfere with thyroid function by inhibiting iodine uptake, potentially contributing to goiter. Cooking reduces goitrogen content. 8. Glucosinolates Effectiveness: Low to moderate Nutrients Affected: Iodine Sources: Cruciferous vegetables Mechanism: Similar to goitrogens, they can interfere with thyroid function by inhibiting iodine uptake. 9. Alkaloids (Solanine, Tomatine) Effectiveness: Low Nutrients Affected: No direct nutrient inhibition Sources: Potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants (nightshade family) Mechanism: Though not directly affecting nutrient absorption, alkaloids can be toxic at high levels. Cooking reduces their content. 10. Flavonoids Effectiveness: Low Nutrients Affected: Non-heme iron Sources: Fruits, vegetables, tea, wine Mechanism: Can inhibit non-heme iron absorption, but they also have antioxidant benefits, so their negative impact is usually outweighed by their health benefits. Summary: Phytates and oxalates are often considered the most potent antinutrients because they significantly reduce mineral absorption. Lectins and tannins also rank high due to their impact on nutrient absorption, particularly protein and iron. Saponins, protease inhibitors, and goitrogens have a moderate effect, often reduced by proper food preparation.
Thank you Lee ! It is really educating, the more I listen to your videos, the more I see the clownery of these people trying to educate us with empty arguments.
*EEE, WHEN I WERE A LAD!* When I was growing up, an overweight kid would have a nickname because they were so rare they stood out. Before all this dietary nonsense, most households cooked in lard and ate dripping. We fought over the pork crackling and devoured lamb fat. Families consumed plenty of eggs, real butter, and full-fat cheese and drank whole milk. In other words, real food. *HEY CONSUMER, YES YOU. BE AFRAID... BE VERY AFRAID!* After the successful fat scare and artery-clogging cholesterol campaigns of the late 1970s, fatphobia gripped entire nations. Egg yolks got thrown away, while semi-skimmed and skimmed (watered-down) milk became the norm. Dangerous seed oils replaced healthy animal fats, and so it went on. By 1980, every weekly shopping basked was full of tasteless low-fat and no-fat, fake food alternative products. Overnight, the dinner plate was laden with lists of ingredients that were impossible to read. Now look at the state of people despite their best efforts to do the right thing. *BIG FOOD AND BIG PHARMA ARE LOOKING OUT FOR YOU* Scientists estimate there are around 8.7 million species currently on Earth, 1-2 million of which are animals. Of all the species, the most intelligent one (humans) has no idea what to eat for optimal health. Every other living creature knows exactly what it should consume and what it shouldn't. Actually, that's not quite true. As Lee points out in the video, kids intuitively know what they should eat-given the choice. It's the nonsense fed to us by self-interest groups that confuse the mind. See, most folks listen to "experts," but the question has to be this: how's that working out for you?
The younger, more limp-wristed one proved himself to be a moron when he alluded to early humans being chased by dinosaurs. dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago, hominids didn't show up until tens of millions of years later. Great critique, Lee, keep these coming!
Actually, that’s not correct. In the Old Testament God asks Job who he thought created the dinosaurs, or Behemoth as they were called then. They roamed the earth early on when humans were less numerous, they kept down the populations of other animals and trod down excess plant life. They helped the Earth life cycle. When humans began to proliferate dinosaurs got pushed further out, men also hunted them. Eventually when conditions became unfavourable they died out. Most of the skeletons we find were preserved in the Great Flood. Just about everything we’re told today is unfortunately upside down. People have seemingly become greater than our actual history. Don’t believe me?There are items we have today from ancient archaeology that depict various kinds of dinosaurs on belts, on pottery, on church insignia. Ancient peoples did not get those images from books or TV, they saw them first-hand. Don’t close your mind off otherwise you end up like these 2 doctor nitwits 😊

Carnivore content videos make so much sense, and comments back it all up. Thriving carnivores, and many x-vegans, who healed themselves of lifelong illnesses, tell it all. But many are struck with fear and anxiety because of details. Boggles the mind. These two are just in it for the perks they recieve though.

I’ve been on keto for 18 months now. ALL my blood work numbers have improved beautifully; I’ve lost 10% of my body weight, going from long-term 89-93kg to 79-80kg; mental clarity better; blood pressure down from 3 meds to 1, blood pressure down from 140s/80s to 120s/70s. I now feel no need to snack as I don’t eat sugars or carbs, so I’m fat-adapted and in ketosis most of the time. My glucose numbers are great, as is my H1A1C. I know that with my ketosis; fasting, so autophagy; beautiful insulin, so no inflammation; and alkali coffee, I’m virtually bulletproof for cancers and cardiovascular diseases. My daughter was diagnosed with mild crohn's, we started the Carnivore Diet about 5 months ago, we still have some inflammation. Her levels were a little higher this time, but she has been doing Great. And now the doctors want to start her on Mesalamine and an infusion! We asked them why are we starting any meds, if she has been a lotter better, then we started the diet? Her inflammation levels went from 800 to 3000, so they said, they wanted the inflammation to stop before it gets worse. I feel, its do to the added protein from all the meat she eats. Thank you as always for the Great information and many Blessings to you 🙏.

I think the fact I did carnivore for 3 weeks and didn't die is proof enough that we don't need processed carbohydrates. I would have been dead after a few days. And yet somehow, I had more energy than ever. After 3 weeks, I had a day where I had kraft macaroni and cheese carbs and when I woke up the morning after, I felt foggy and looked bloated. I would go so far as to argue sodium is not what bloats us, processed junky carbs do. I heard someone else say that and I'm starting to believe it. I ate loads of salt doing carnivore and never looked bloated until I had the noodles. I'm going to stick with eating animal products from now on 👍
Also I often wonder how humanity would be doing right now if we never switched from eating an 80% animal-based diet since civilisation. I know we’d be healthier for sure, but like, technology and other things. 😊
Perhaps we would have had the brain power to use technology for good, instead of capitalistic greed. Perhaps logic and philosophy would have grown as vital parts of our education. So much to dream about ... :)
I actually tried carnivore several years ago and it made me feel like shit (let me finish before you get mad). I personally had a lot of trouble with it but it was because I had some issues with my stomach acid and had those issues my entire life without even knowing it. I fixed my problem with Apple cider vinegar and now that I am digesting meat properly, I am going to try out the carnivore diet again. To anyone else out there who finds they get very tired after eating meat, it's a good chance you have some stomach acidity problems as well.
If one is to partake of any plants it might be a good idea to briefly glance at the ancestral practices of aboriginals and other groups who have selectively included them and prepared them in v. specific ways to make them more bioavailable, e.g. sprouting, soaking etc. to mitigate most but not all of the anti-nutrient effects.

"We are not sponsored by anyone," from 2 doctors is one of the biggest lies I have ever heard. I was vegan for 5.5 years and have been a carnivore for almost a year. My body composition has changed dramatically (I went from skinny fat at 220 pounds to the leanest I have been at 170), my hair stopped falling out, my dentist was shocked when my receding gum lines had reverted back to normal, my mental health has improved, my digestion is incredible, I don't burn in the sun anymore and I finally feel satiated after eating.

Ludicrous.
They have no idea how long they lived, they are repeating a guess as fact.
Absolutely 👌
The life expectancy was definitely not high in those days.....but it wasn't due to the food intake. I think having to spear an animal in a charging heard, dealing with sabertooth tigers, woolly mammoths, competing tribes, exposure to the elements and diseases had much more to do with low life expectancy.
When I see a cave painting of people spearing fruit and vegetables, maybe I'll have a change of heart.

Here’s a list of common plant antinutrients, ordered roughly by their potential to inhibit nutrient absorption:
1. Phytates (Phytic Acid)
Effectiveness: High
Nutrients Affected: Iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium
Sources: Grains, legumes, seeds, and nuts
Mechanism: Binds to minerals, making them less bioavailable. Can be reduced through soaking, sprouting, or fermenting foods.
2. Oxalates (Oxalic Acid)
Effectiveness: High
Nutrients Affected: Calcium, magnesium, iron
Sources: Spinach, rhubarb, beets, nuts, chocolate
Mechanism: Forms insoluble complexes with calcium, reducing its absorption. Cooking can reduce oxalate content.
3. Lectins
Effectiveness: Moderate to high
Nutrients Affected: Protein, iron, calcium, zinc
Sources: Beans, legumes, whole grains, nightshade vegetables
Mechanism: Bind to cell membranes, potentially interfering with nutrient absorption and digestion. Cooking and soaking can reduce lectin levels.
4. Tannins
Effectiveness: Moderate
Nutrients Affected: Iron (non-heme)
Sources: Tea, coffee, legumes, grapes, berries, pomegranates
Mechanism: Bind to non-heme iron, reducing its absorption. Cooking or fermentation can reduce tannin content.
5. Saponins
Effectiveness: Moderate
Nutrients Affected: Protein, fat-soluble vitamins
Sources: Legumes (especially soybeans), quinoa, and other beans
Mechanism: Can interfere with protein digestion and reduce absorption of some nutrients. Rinsing and cooking reduce saponins.
6. Protease Inhibitors
Effectiveness: Moderate
Nutrients Affected: Protein
Sources: Legumes (soybeans, kidney beans), seeds
Mechanism: Inhibit protease enzymes that break down proteins, reducing protein absorption. Heat treatment reduces their activity.
7. Goitrogens
Effectiveness: Low to moderate
Nutrients Affected: Iodine
Sources: Cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, kale, cabbage), soy
Mechanism: Interfere with thyroid function by inhibiting iodine uptake, potentially contributing to goiter. Cooking reduces goitrogen content.
8. Glucosinolates
Effectiveness: Low to moderate
Nutrients Affected: Iodine
Sources: Cruciferous vegetables
Mechanism: Similar to goitrogens, they can interfere with thyroid function by inhibiting iodine uptake.
9. Alkaloids (Solanine, Tomatine)
Effectiveness: Low
Nutrients Affected: No direct nutrient inhibition
Sources: Potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants (nightshade family)
Mechanism: Though not directly affecting nutrient absorption, alkaloids can be toxic at high levels. Cooking reduces their content.
10. Flavonoids
Effectiveness: Low
Nutrients Affected: Non-heme iron
Sources: Fruits, vegetables, tea, wine
Mechanism: Can inhibit non-heme iron absorption, but they also have antioxidant benefits, so their negative impact is usually outweighed by their health benefits.
Summary:
Phytates and oxalates are often considered the most potent antinutrients because they significantly reduce mineral absorption.
Lectins and tannins also rank high due to their impact on nutrient absorption, particularly protein and iron.
Saponins, protease inhibitors, and goitrogens have a moderate effect, often reduced by proper food preparation.
Worth the read. Thank you.
Lectins also affect satiety signalling in the brain.

*EEE, WHEN I WERE A LAD!*
When I was growing up, an overweight kid would have a nickname because they were so rare they stood out.
BE VERY AFRAID!*
After the successful fat scare and artery-clogging cholesterol campaigns of the late 1970s, fatphobia gripped entire nations.
*BIG FOOD AND BIG PHARMA ARE LOOKING OUT FOR YOU*
Scientists estimate there are around 8.7 million species currently on Earth, 1-2 million of which are animals.
I reported misinformation no less than 6 times while watching those two "doctors" talk about carnivore. Amazing!
20:17 - the doctor talking about sugar filled bbq sauce is opining on whether carnivore is healthy, that is precious.
It's a battle between the dominant fiction narrative that plant food is good and .... the truth.
I doubt these two muppets have a PHD but if they really are surgeons it scares the heck out of me if I ever need an operation!
Just proves to me that years of memorizing theories at universities does not make them truth.
