Wo-Chien has placed top 8 at a couple tournaments as early as 2023. Being good in niche formats doesn’t make you a good legendary (see Moltres at the beginning of this video who was good in a niche format). He only placed well because he was tera’d *every* time he was used. Idk if having to change your type to be feasible makes you good especially when being good able to do so is a temporary gimmick of the generation.
I do think Wo Chien should be moved to spot 7 or 8 though. He’s too high on the list given his prior success.

Terrakion has seven 2x weaknesses, but Virizion's six have one 4x weakness (flying) so it's kind of the same (one extra type VS one 4x type)

Yeah, 1-2 4x weaknesses on a mon with less weaknesses overall really do offset a mon with more weaknesses but no 4x.

Cresselia literally won a World championship with skill swap (stealing parental bond and pixilate).
Also iirc won another World later, or maybe took 2° place not sure. It was in the finals.

3:20 funnily enough, the biggest reason for the nerf of dark void and subsequently darkrai was actually because of smeargle giving everyone fucking nightmares using the move, becuase whilst darkrai wasnt legal, that doesnt mean the move wasnt
The issue was that they made smeargle unable to use dark void the same generation where they nerfed dark void. Darkrai's dark void just caught a stray bullet because smeargle was using it too hard, and smeargle can't even use it anymore!
@@wispyone3702tbf, if somehow Darkrai became legal, it would have been one hell of a pain with high speed dark void, probably not broken but extremely annoying
See, the problem there is they also changed it so Dark Void can only be used by Darkrai so the nerf to accuracy wasn't needed to stop Smeargle.

@@awqweird zekrom, kyurem and kyurem black are the worst rn. Palkia and dialga(normal form) are basically just as bad and mewtwo and giratina(both) are very rarely seen
Cobalion was the first legendary I ever caught, as Pokemon Black 2 was my first Pokémon game, and he was my best ‘Mon against the elite four, which makes Wolfey wrong and stupid and wrong.

I like Wo-Chien, but mostly because of its design. I just wish it was better.
Honestly if they just kept its movepool and changed it from Dark/Grass to Dark/Poison it'd be a pretty good mon. The absolute plethora of competitive relevant weaknesses is the main reason it falls apart, and it does do well with tera but that's a huge oppurtunity cost since you can't tera anything else then

Context for those who don’t know: Smeargle can learn every move in the game, including Dark Void, Darkrai’s signature move. It’s so overpowered that Smeargle can’t learn Dark Void anymore and they lowered the accuracy from 80 to 50
Make Ice resist poison. You can’t poison ice! Like you can pollute water but can you pollute ice other than just cleaning trash off when it’s dry??

Ice type should resist Flying, Grass, and Poison, I feel. Heck maybe make Fairy only resistant to Dragons instead of immune (which makes no sense imo) and make Ice types resistant as well instead.
The best thing I could think to do with Monkedori was choice specs, and sludge wave. With the other pokemon using helping hand... It didn't last long 41:50

its such a shame that cobalion is so bad. its quickly become my favorite pokemon after I started playing black 2, and the first legendary pokemon I've been shiny hunting. i absolutely adore it but good lord is it bad in comp. although, it wont stop me from keeping it on my black 2 team and loving it anyway
To answer the top hat Krispy Kreme question I'd just be uncomfortable. There's a lot of people who come in to my place of work who have no social awareness and while I don't think anything I'll of them I'm personally very autistic it is however incredibly uncomfortable and awkward. If it's someone doing it who has a sense of humor and knows when they're putting people off that's another story they'd likely be great and cheer up people but that's usually rare in that kind of case

This list is in the context of VGC, and specifically tournaments... which are open team sheet, making Frisk useless. On ladder Frisk is nice because they're closed team sheets, best of one battles, but that's not being factored in here

The thing about regigigas is that it has amazing stats, the only thing holding it back is it's ability. So by pairing it with weezing which has neutralising gas or by using worry seed it can be used quite well.

Oh easily a fan of Wo-Chien; I think all the Ruinous ones look like Shadow of the Colossus creatures which is a sick aesthetic but Wo-Chien nails it the most. So I do like it as a Pokemon but not enough to argue whether it's competitively viable though

I could imagine Moltres sleeping while flying. Some birds actually do that. It's also always found near or around mountains so it might sleep in caves to avoid its flames burning everything.

Wo-Chien isn't terrible for Raid supoort, Leech Seed to relyably damage the boss, Ingrain and Leftovers to keep it from going down by constantly healing, Grassy Terrain to heal the whole team passively and Giga Drain for a last resort works suprisingly well

Fezandipiti is decent in VGC, has nice bulk and a good defensive typing so can stick around for a while and use offensive + support moves (icy wind, moonblast, a few poison moves) while also abusing Toxic Chain procs. Definitely not great but enough to stay off the list
You should do a video taking "Bad" pokemon and letting each person shift one stat to another. Maybe a restriction on adding to a stat (speed for example) once.
They should save the fairy trio by declassifying them as legendaries so they can play in the same rank as non legendaries. Honorary non legendaries. Let's go.
