    "WOW, your destroying that box, good for you! Were not returning this." LMAO, your son is hilarious lol. I'm planning to buy either the WGEN6000 or WGEN7500, so I am looking at video's on these units.

      @@Techtimony I'm unboxing it today, studying all the videos everyone's made on this beast. Getting it ready in 40 degree temp. Again, thanks for the video.

      In the video I forgot to connect the red and black wires on the battery if you don’t connect them it doesn’t work.

    Did you not connect the two leads of the battery that were still zip-tied together?

    We've got the DF version of this generator and it is very solid. How are you guys finding the runtime? We've only used it on propane so far but seem to get around 5ish hours at about 50% load with a standard tank. Looking forward to seeing how the gas unit runs!

      We have not tested the generator yet because we purchased it for emergency situations only. I.e. hurricanes. Thanks for commenting.

      @@Techtimony Same here. We're out in Polson, MT and when emergencies happen, it may be hours before utilities are restored. Some of us are involved with computer/network tech here but we work from home. So it's important the power there for us.

      Has anyone had a chance to run this yet? Still pretty curious about the gas runtime (and load factor). We haven't yet had a chance to fully run ours yet.

      Just wanted to follow up on this in case anyone has the same question. This generator (WGen 7500DF) really saved our lives during Hurricane Ida.
      Running at a computed load of about 2300 watts with a few temporary jumps up to about 3400 (still below the 50% threshhold using gas), this thing operated for about 13 hours on around 6 gallons of gas.
      It's a workhorse. My next generator will likely one of those whole-house standby generators, but if I needed another open frame, I'd absolutely get another from Westinghouse.
      Only complaint I have is that I'm having issues finding replacement parts (e.g. air filters) based on the Westinghouse product numbers.

      @Techtimony  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try using each device on different circuits the AC on one (the left two outlets) and the cooler on the other

    • @Techtimony
      @Techtimony  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And try putting the ac on 240

    Where is everyone getting these generators ? I can't find one in my town. All we have is tractor supply and Lowe's. And I need a new one and wanted to buy this model. My old generator has around 800 hrs on it LOL
