I have never really understood where all the popculture "fish have no memory/don't feel pain/aren't very smart" tropes come from. In my experience, fish are really smart. My parrot cichlids, my Bettas, and my puffers all seem to be able to distinguish between the different faces of my family. They remember who feeds, who tries to touch them, what side each person typically goes to to feed, etc. Really smart creatures

I'm glad you finally got seahorses. Back on your video asking what to do with the spare acrylic you turned into the first shell dweller aquarium I remember commenting about making a tower or tank for sea horses then again when you got the cylinder tank. So happy to see them and watch how they act
if the the snowflakes were larger, or you had added Kevin to THEIR well sanded(they burrow in part) and better eel hide engineered tank, instead of dumping smaller maybe food invaders who act like prey into HIS pad... well it might have gone better. you could move kevin temporarily, redo the tank a bit letting the snowflakes establish, then add him back. just a thought.
Try tong feeding the eels through a small diameter pipe. That way they can be guarenteed some food without having to compete with the puffer until they can properly fight back.

Been watching you since the early days man and I'm proud of you doing what you're doing. Imo just keep warning people about how hard it is to take care of these animals, I believe you can responsibly popularize animals too if people know the requirements of these animals. I would think in a sense at that point they're "owning" these animals through people like you by seeing how much care must be administered to actually keep these animals.
Great video as always Joey. I don't think I have ever seen a planted saltwater tank, they're always coral tanks. Have you thought of planting kelp? Can you feed the snowflake eels with the cleaning cylinder to get the food to them?
Don't want to be the smartass, but just it is just an idea to put the rocks in a closed off cave system. Like putting one in front and behind of the cave so he can't even reach them inside and they have a more space to hide their entire body . Love the saltwater monster fish tank so far, keep up doing what you love Joey!
Those fish are usually popularized by creators that hide the difficulty or expense of more exotic fish, I'd say definitely keep what makes you happy and just use them as tools to educate :) youre a great teacher and an experienced fish keeper that many would benefit to learn from
