Joey, if TEMU is sponsering you, how about contacting them for instructions to share with us on how to get the code to work correctly. As I also just opened a new account at checkout, and got the “Only new users can use this code” message.
Hey Joey. Those lights you purchased from TEMU are not that water sealed. I've had them for years(those are the lights the LFS sell where I am from), and while they give good light, be aware that electricity fluctuations can cause them to fail (i lost 2 last month) and that they don't have a seal to prevent moisture from getting in.
sorry joey but temu isn't playing fair with you're fans. i set it up tried to order using you're code. it said only new users. um 30 seconds isn't much newer than that i just think if they are gonna let you give out a discount code, maybe it should be able to be used!
@@thekingofdiy I just tried a new device, new account with a new email, and even a new delivery address, and I got the “only works with new account” message. dissapointing, and I hope it can be fixed.
For everybody complaining, he is helping more people get in the hobby that normally wouldn’t be able to afford it! Plus where do you think they will get the fish from once they get their system setup!? A fish store! What do you know, more sales for the stores!
I have no opinion on TEMU as I've never purchased from them. I've heard all the scuttle butt for and against them from hobbyists on TH-cam. I would very much like an update on the product performance after 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. Most things can seem great at first and even perform well but, longevity is key to a truly great product.
So I have used them for around 6 months now. Mostly on my own. Everything still works that I got. as for a year from now? I don’t care. Ive had $500 pumps quit on me in a year. If a $2 pump quits… I’ll get 10 more haha
The stuff you are ordering from Temu. Are the CSA certified for Canada? Something to make sure of. I know from a past video you had issues with that before. Heaven forbid a fire happens(again🙈) if they are not Certified for use here in Canada it will cancel your insurance. I am anxious to see how they do long term use. Thanks for the great videos 🙏. Hey there, I keep a 30 gallon reef aquarium so I can give you an answer! Frequency of cleaning depends on: - The size of the aquarium. - What's IN the aquarium species-wise. - How much you care about algae. - How often and what food you feed. It's extremely similar to a freshwater tank, just with more water parameters and dosing. I dose my aquarium with calcium, magnesium, alkalinity, and a multivitamin once or twice a week (depending on what I am dosing.) I use all Seachem products which are ridiculously user/beginner friendly and high quality; their salt mix is the cheapest that I have found and works just fine for a fish only aquarium if you don't want to get into coral. Any time you keep invertebrates you need to think about dosing of some sort, even if all you dose is calcium to help your hermit crabs with their molts. I do keep coral, therefore I need a much more complex dosing regime, and ideally you test your water at least once a week. Time saver: get a Seachem ammonia alert tag. They last a year and if you have one you don't have to test for ammonia anymore because the tag will tell you with a colour change if anything goes wrong at a glance. Useful for freshwater too!
Hey Joey long time viewer and want to first say huge fan of what you do as it’s a hobby I’d love to be in but just doesn’t work for me atm. Just admit it, saltwater aquarium needs more care and doing it correctly, you are a fresh water king no doubt but on the other hand in saltwater you need to do as every one doing it using correct equipments with the correct lights then you will succeed
