Yes we know but with ac off we need some kind of ventilation so we keep at least the windows half open n anyways when we try these long range tests we drive at 50 or lesser speed so anyways the wind drag is comparatively less
Guys try to book a Uber from next time... Ola cabs are the worst. Also I have shared your channel with my friends ☺️❤️ watching your videos Nexon EV has become my favourite car.😍
Nice video. 2 observations - 1. Seeing all this range anxiety, would you now in hindsight be willing to get a ecar with a range of 100 km more , by paying maybe 5 lakhs extra ? 2. Anjnay has videos of travelling to ladakh in his nexon ev with a genset in his car , since their are no chargers in those places. Maybe investigate a similar arrangement for long trips , so that you always have a emergency option , wherever you are. Reliable Electric supply is iffy in many parts of India.
Hey thanks for watching 1. Looking at the way infra is developing I guess doing longer routes once in a while will become lot more smoother and easier , probably cars with faster charging ability will make more sense in the future than paying an hefty amount for extra range ... At the same time for people who regularly do long road trips for work n stuff a longer range car will be better as it will save a lot of time and will make the trip faster 2. We do have videos that we posted months back where we have used genset to charge the car do check them out , at routes where there's a situation with power itself then it makes sense to carry it otherwise for a group of people travelling to a destination like Ladakh it will become to much of a hassle as there's no boot space left for your stuff and that's the reason we didn't take that route and planned to go via Kashmir as we wanted to give people a realistic solution to the journey where anyone planning to reach a destination that we show can use our itinerary and reach without any tension or anxiety
Hi guys, is this NexCruise an official accessory from Tata for cruise control? Does adding it void any warranty for a new car and can it be added in a DIY manner?
You guys are doing great showing kms driven and cost for charging but I think you should also mention money spent on cabs because that expense is also because you are owning a electric car.
Hey we haven't used cabs a lot on the trip just in certain areas where taking cars was an issue also a couple of times we used rickshaw to go out for food while car is getting charged ... most of the chargers are at food courts or market areas so you don't need to commute much
You guys should also show the charging initiation processes and the running charging in ur videos. Have a small camera fixed to the odometer console for real time monitoring recordings in the videos. I would suggest to show things more of ur ev journey than to talk !! Just a feedback 😊
Hey we use to do that but then people started complaining about showing the same process repeatedly and hence we are just showing the charging cost , also we have separate series of videos where we are showing the different processes of charging and hacks related to evs do check it out
@@NoiseFaktory okay.. I understand about the charging. But then let's have regular videos shots of your real time odometer status while you driving your ev. If I say my choice, I would like to see the car's running performance in odometer console including with your talks running in background and outside scenic views in between time to time.

THIS MAKES NO SENSE. So basically if you have watched the video carefully you may have noticed that they started their journey at- 99% at 1:50 p.m. and at the end of the journey they were at 7% at 8:42 p.m. covering total distance of 282km basically they nearly 7 hours to cover the minimal distance of 282km Average speed- 40km/hr if you can drive your car with such patience even at highways dude you're no less than god Now real life scenario, average speed on highways 80km/hr. and at that speed power consumption will be around 150-170w/hr and with that you will get the range of 200km, this is what the REAL WORLD RANGE IS. Don't get fooled with such misguiding videos. DRIVING AT 40KM ON HIGHWAYS IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE IN REAL WORLD, until and unless you are jobless and have nothing else to do.
Google Baba does this with me as well. In my recent trip to Satara from Mahabaleshwar, it took me on a very dangerous hilly climb road that was proper off road. It was very scary because both side of the road was steep valley and the road width was just enough for one car to pass. Luckily we came out of it. Also I had one suggestion. Can you also share the time taken to complete a specific patch of road like for example x hours, etc.?
It really puts you in difficult situations at times ... probably in the future trips we will note down times to give you comparisons in the current vlog we'll mention it wherever we have details
I'm planning to do a tour from Mumbai to Kolkata on Nexon EV. Is it doable? Is there any website or app where I can fin all ev charging points in between a route
Oh awesome even we are planning to do it later in the year ... pls refer to PlugShare to find all kinds of chargers also keep in mind to plan a route where you get maximum chargers even if it's a bit longer

Hey we were driving at an average speed of 60+ which is like the suggested min speed on most highways in parts where we could we drive at 80 too so achieving this range is actually remarkable for ev , may not matter much for ice vehicles but for evs it's a big deal for now
@@NoiseFaktory If you consider the EV world, most ev's around the world can easily achieve more than 400 kms at 100 kms/hr speed with ac on.
