If you end the series here/soon, I do hope you'll continue on slightly offstream, if opportunity allows for yourself, and maybe allow those familiar with the game to provide some guidance...definitely not a game I would have 100% solo, but did with a group.

Hey now, the game very clearly and methodically taught you purple. At the time, you just typed in whatever, and it worked, and never thought about it again.
Putting a red/blue combo - with some answer, then putting a just a purple right next to it, with the same answer, was them teaching. Learning may or may not have taken place, but it's unfair to say they never taught it.
Fwiw I still think purple is bullshit. Because it’s basically “find a word that’s close to this” and half the time there’s 1000 answers to that. I think most of the game is a 10/10 but purples just kinda sour it for me. If there’s a more distinct way to understand them, I definitely feel like I haven’t found it. Maybe that’s on me but its weird that I was supposed to understand that Purple is Red + Blue but green isn’t blue + yellow, orange isn’t red + yellow. It’s just inconsistent
@@OlexaYT Oh 100%, woulda been way easier to figure out if all the combinations are consistent. There was one part where they used some abstract architecture to combine a bottom of one color with a middle of another color as the clues, who's going to get that xD But comparatively speaking - purple was fair.

iirc if there's no screen to type then the colors are meaningless outside of some enviromental clues
but in this case yellow 5 is just a trick, there is no scrambling involved, you can find the 5 somewhere else.
Great series, even if there are some learning curves. I would love to see your take on some of the custom maps made for this game when you finish the main game.

I dropped this game twice and I'm pretty sure I never finished level 2, might go back to it one day. It's fun working out a rule and clearing bunch of puzzles but all the backtracking and running in circles trying to find what to do next/the path to an area you know exists is just... frustrating. All I can say is definitely write down the word wanderlust and I'm pretty sure you haven't seen the other two direction clues yet.
He has seen all of the direction clues. Fire and north that he remembers. Diamonds from the card suits room. I forgot the last one, but it's in a previous episode.
I just don’t understand why he does use the first letter button instead of running around making himself nauseous. It also pisses me off that he doesn’t think of simple small everyday words but that’s just me lol

Don't get me wrong. I am very much enjoying the series. Just not you running around like a chicken with it's head cut off the whole time haha. Maybe just take a breath and slow down. It's like your frantic for the answer and not even trying to think is all. But keep going. I do love you playing this game.

my issue with this series (and of course you dont have to value it) is I have to skip 60% of the video because its just you walking around confused. When you are actually solving puzzles its very enjoyable but as a viewer it is pretty frustrating to skip around to a part where you are making some sort of progress lol

The music is still psychotic and makes it hard to watch
I feel like he would have more fun/success if he took the rules a bit more seriously. He referred back to the spreadsheet, and immediately goes back to his headcanon of "blue means only adding to the front and end"
I feel this applies to red as well, I'm 100% certain its subtract letters and not a word within a word.
Thing is, before he did type "add letters to the front or end" and then he found out that it was just adding letters anywhere, but now he forgot all of that
That's why he has to keep what he wrote down before instead of just erasing

I don't think purple is "red and then blue." I think it's just replace letters. You don't have to remove letters and get a real word, then add more letters to the new word. You just replace some letters in the word to make a new word.
