man you are blessed i just turned 17 and only 6’2 luckily i worked hard for my handles, shooting ability, and overall IQ for the game so my coaches never tried to put my at center or mold me into one. hopefully you’re serious about trying to get your skills up. GOOD LUCK
Man i literally thought I'm watching an old video throughout the whole 8 minutes, because you already uploaded one with some similar tips. But the video is GOATed!! I I loved to refresh the knowledge
I have been looking for an in-depth video covering pull ups. Thanks Ryan. I have great form and I’m a pretty good shooter. I’ve worked on my pull ups and I have great footwork and can pull up going either left or right, however I struggle with the lift. It feels weird to jump high and shoot. I am not that strong or athletic and I struggle to get much power when I shoot this type of 2 motion shot. Any advice would be much appreciated
Yo coach, Can you make a video on different ways to protect the ball through traffic, and how to get the correct timing with your dribbles and pickups? Thanks. Fire vid
ive really been struggling with getting that height on the jumper. im going to try the no shooting and just jumping. also i did not know the right footwork so thanks!
My jumpshot is absolutely broke, im 12 turning 13 soon and I was wondering if my shot was bad or it wasn't, I can't tell if i'm shooting with 2 hands or im not using my left as my guide or my hands aren't spaced enough, how could I tell or how could I fix this?
So I would love a video or comment about have a slightly different jumpshot for midrange. I’ve been seeing a lot of usually even if ur a one motion shooter with a low set point U might want to have a diffferent midrange variation of ur jumpshot for midrange becuz u need to control that power of ur one motion shot and get it up over a defender. So is it good having a mini two motion shot for midrange where the set point is higher and u have more lift or should u u try to have that one jumpshot
It is good to be able to shoot with different set points. It’s not like your jumper will be completely different. The set point and amount of lift you get should change in the mid range when needed. So yea, I would suggest also developing a 2 motion shot for mid range pull ups. For example, I shoot from my face from 3 but in the mid range I can shoot with a set point above my eyebrow.
hey ryan ,i am 15 years old hooper from angola ,i have one issue my shot is broke is inconsistent ,some time i sht well with good path ,some time the hand ,my right hand ,the hand of shot go to the left ,go to the right is a mess ,i wanna help to fix that insconstency ,pease help pro trainer R"2bbal
R2 is it okay to shoot a mid range pull up off a stepback / sidestep like you do 3 pointers? Or you should stick to using momentum from driving to the rim and then pull up?
@@halftime2698Yes they are good from step backs or sidesteps but if you create enough space you might not need to shoot with as high of a set point and much lift.
I left my other Mic at the other gym but I’ll get it back for the next video👍🏽
Thanks for this video. I'm a 6'7 16 year old who is NOT trying to play center next season so I'm trying to get my overall skills up.

Most time you want to start your pickup when you see help side start to shift towards you
Beautiful work bro fr
draymond was a beast with his mid range pull up in his prime
Working on my midrange jumper! Love this video.
Just what I need, coach! Appreciate this a lot
The game footage at the end of the vid is super helpful
Shall I use one motion shot in mid range?? Which one is effective one motion or 2 motion in mid range???

Can it please be 3 point shooting when and how to get a good shot selection

Those aren't pull-ups. But yes you may shoot midrange setbacks / sidesteps it is a great option
@@R2bball Yes but in this video you showed High set point high elevation shots. Are they good from stepbacks or one motion better?
